6:44 Jiyuu no Tsubasa is japanese for Flügel der Freiheit, which is german for Wings of Freedom. They use a lot of German in this song in particular.
There are also endings where you can discuss and react a lot.

Hello, OSTs usually refer to soundtracks during the show, like epic scenes and background music. The ones you react to are referred to as Openings (OPs) played during the start of episodes, there are also Endings (EDs) in a show at the end of episodes
Jiyuu no tsubasa (wings of freedom) always sounds like a national anthem to me, which is why i like it so much. its my top 3 of AOT openings
I love listening to the endings 2, 5, 6 and 7. Under the Tree is a special theme for the Final Chapters and I love listening to it as well.
Finally someone appreciates the second opening
Under the tree is not an opening or an ending, it's a special theme. The other special theme is To you in 2,000 years or 20,000 years from now (nissenen moshiku wa, nimannen go no kimi e)
So Saigo no Kyojin is opening 8
I would say Under The Tree counts as an ED. The song was used for the credits of The Final Chapters Special 1. Even had it's own visuals there. (Not the music video but the one with Eren walking and lot's of images of birds).

I see all 3 of them as EDs.
"Under the Tree" (ED of Final Chapters Special 1).
"nissenen moshiku wa, nimannen go no kimi e" (ED of Final Chapters Special 2).
"Iterrashai " (ED of Final Season Part 3 aka Special 1 and 2 in Episode form).
And we can definitely say that Under The Tree is not an OP.
For some reason that song is listed as an opening on the official channel but appeared as an ending in the series.
He just spoiled the entire anime to himself lmao 😭😭😭

@@Wulthradnah, I tried not to pay too much attention to the video and focused on the music. I’m not often bothered by spoilers, I’ll still enjoy the story line, especially in this series where there is so much context.

For me, the reason why opening 5 sounds like the 1st opening, is not without reason. Maybe it's because plotwise, season 3 takes place at the place where all began, Shigansina, maybe that's why they chose a song with similar sound with the first so that it reminds us that and let us make the connection...Maybe it's completely irrelevant and stupid what I said but now it makes sense to me...

the songs were written specifically for the anime! they weren't chosen but written to be how they are :)
@@yataboi I was refering to the sound of the song. I know that they were written for the anime. I'm a fan for many years. I know what is going on with the manga, the anime, the songs etc...I was refering to the reason why the composer chose a similar sound to the first...They probably could create whatever they wanted but they chose this music, similar to the first for a reason. I explained it to my initial comment.😌👍

not to take away from ur compliment, but i usually hear that u DONT have to understand what ure saying in order to sing other languages. Ppl have crazy accents in normal speech, but can do perfect english when singing famous songs. Its all just sound waves in the end
