I have to locate those terrific little micro wave egg bowls...Second....Love your cute outfit...Those overalls are so sweet along with the pretty lace peasant blouse...and of course everything was so coordinated...coral bracelet, earrings, even your garden hat! You are a 'fashionista Nanny'!!! Your enthusiasm with your new hobby of succulents is so endearing and lovely! I just wanted to cry when those little froggies took a fall....BUT, this video was so indicative of your amazingly positive....view of life and yes! its "Ups and Downs"... Head and heart in the air and feet planted firmly on the ground! Your desire to repair and put back together the little frog family is a metaphor for everyone to realize and learn from. Good morning Nanny and Moose. Your breakfast looked so go that I ordered an egg cooker for myself. I am sorry about your birds. You know that I can relate. I am still enjoying the hummingbirds and the orioles that eat from the hummingbird feeder. The female orioles seem to be the most frequent visitors. How wonderful to see the beautiful dog and I smiled when I heard Shamu trying to put his two cents worth in. He was probably shocked at the price of those wipes too…lol. What a shame about your frog dish. Hopefully you can glue it back together. I have my fingers crossed. I feel bad because I know how much you like the frog dish. I hope that with love and E6000 it will be back soon. Nanny, I enjoy your simple chats because this is real life. There is not always something exciting or dramatic happening. You include us with everything, all of your experiences. I worry when you are out in the heat. Our bodies just don’t handle temperature extremes well. Sorry Nanny about the frogs. Kintsugi comes to mind. The Japanese art form of fixing broken ceramics and giving them new life. Enjoyed seeing Moosie. I have been listening to an eye doctor on TH-cam and learning things I didn't know before about eye health. God Bless you both and your family!!!

Sunday Funday! Love the everything bagel breakfast. Looks delicious. I wish I had one. I was going to say how much I love the frog dish. Oh well, accidents happen. Or maybe there are no accidents? If you can't put them back together, you could use them to create a bird bath or other garden decorative sculpture, made from broken dishes and tiles, pebbles, etc. I have broken treasured items before and is not fun. But seriously, I can see you making a birdbath or even just using the individual frogs set into flower pots to give the impression of a frog sitting by the flowers. Anyway, I'm sure that you will come up with a way to use the frogs. I love your garden fashion today. So cute on you. I'm not sure if I could pull it off myself, but might have to try just for fun. It was nice to hear from Moose today in his cameo appearance. I was thinking that he could do some of his poetry readings in future videos. Maybe he has one for summers end, or labor day weekend? Suggestion for attracting birds: Put up a birdbath (or 2) and keep it fresh and filled. The birds will thank you for it and they’ll visit often. A hummingbird feeder is nice to have out as well. I have these in my yard and birds are regular,y visiting the bath, especially in late afternoon. Pam
Hi Pam..we do have both…a very nice bird bath our son gave us 25 years ago…and several hummingbird feeders that don’t seem t attract too many birds…but the rodents this year are causing trouble..thanks for sharing..❤️
@@crushingtheir80snannyandmoose I know about rodents eating the bird food! I no longer put it out either for this reason. Wish there was a feeder that could ensure rats can’t get at the feed. But, while birds are feeding they drop seed to the ground and the rodent problem therefore isn’t solved. Wonder what to do.

If you can't glue it back together, you can use it in the bottom of the other planter to help the water to drain away from your succulents.

I grow tons of succulents and the trick to keeping them small is to plant in small containers, the larger the bowl or container equates to a larger size succulent. I have kept many small by using mugs or the like with pebbles and regular potting soil. Also I even use my cracked in half terra cotta pots and because they are shallow and I lay on their sides with minimal soil the succulents thrive..I have beautiful succulents growing in what can’t be more than 1/2 inch of soil. And I too pick up strays from shopping landscaped parking lots here in town …in fact most of my feather grasses planted in the ground have been “free”…. and oh how feather grass spreads on its own. Perhaps I need a pair of your gardening overalls for the fall😊

Yeah .. I'm watching...lazy day for me...a pork roast in the crockpot, one of those Smithfield tenderloins easy and good. I threw a couple potatoes in and had a zucchini so sauteing that in olive oil, oregano, garlic and pat of butter. So I used up my fridge stuff and off to the stores this week.

Your breakfast looks great. I found the fully cooked bacon this year and love it. BLT's with avacado are my favorite. I am so sorry about the froggie accident. I too adored that planter. I bet you can get it pretty much back together and then maybe use some plaster of paris or some other median to fill in the open areas. You can do it!!!!

I have been working on it, Carol…and I might have to add the plaster to sone areas…it’s difficult because it’s round and drying and staying in place is hard.❤️
Nanny I noticed an electrical outlet where you were sitting trying to stay cool, we use a fan on our patio in the morning and it help so much.
We have had a fan out there in the past,Pat…especially if you have a project going…it does take the edge off the heat!❤️

Don't cry! Kintsugi The old art form. Take gold lacquer and glue the pieces back and you will have a beautiful piece with gold lines that follow the broken pieces. The meaning behind this Japanese art form is, everything, no matter if its old or broken still has purpose and use. This meaning includes people and objects. Look it up. There are museums full of this art.

Retired from nursing …a little 411 regarding eye wipes we had doctors order this but back in the day they would have us use cotton balls warm water and a drop of tearless baby shampoo per cotton ball ,for each eye …I’m sure young doctors aren’t as frugal as old doctors of our generation,Blessings from Pennsylvania…🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I just wanted to say that you are a wonderful wife ❤ and you are the most encouraging lady it makes me want to be better, keep up doing what you do.... I don't understand why your grown kids don't help you and there dad. That's so very sad. Especially when their father falls to call an ambulance when they just live a few steps away from you guys six grandkids they should have thrown you a big big anniversary party in one of their homes. And you do deserve breakfast in bed from your grown kids Mister moose ain't well enough to walk around that it is emotionally he is he's a wonderful person I love and his honesty he's not about bs. I wish I was your daughter living next door to you or your granddaughter I would help you guys You're not invisible. It's all mostly when somebody's gone do they miss us right... Our children and grandchildren are VERY WONDERFULLY SUPPORTIVE of us and are there for us all the time… working and helping out here constantly…we see them all very often.. I’ve shown this in our videos so often… I’m sorry that you haven’t seen all this on our videos….but please know that we are well taken care of by our family in all matters…and very blessed ❤️

I had a problem with squirrels eating my birdseed. I bought these baffels from Amazon to put on the pole that kept the squirrels from being able to climb up to the birdhouse. The second thing is putting the birdhouses away from anything the squirrels are able to jump to the birdhouses. It was me against the squirrels one summer, but I finally won!

I am so sorry about the frog planter! I found a similar one (don't think it had as many frogs) at Wal Mart several years ago. For some reason, I did not buy one and have regretted it ever since. Have not seen one like it since til I saw yours. Maybe we will both find another...or your gluing session will be successful.
