wow great review i have not ran in a kayano since the 21 and have never been able to find a better shoe that help me burn 90 pounds but honestly i think im going to have to go and try these on these look awesome
I got these! amazing stability shoe for my pronation issue.
I just ordered these shoes because of your review, when I run now the bottom of my feet hurt, and my ankles hurt and I can’t run for a few days, I use to run every day, but coming out of a foot injury my running has diminished
I’m currently rotating two pair of Kayano 26s and have a third pair. Happy to see the next version will be similar.
Jonathan Mietzner is it really that good? Is the cushion comfortable?
@@ndk4 I have ran just over 70 miles and they are comfortable to wear all day. Hands down the best shoe I've bought.
@@michaelhoog730 You have the 27s or the 26s? The 27s I can’t find anywhere in my size and wondering will I just buy a 26 or 28.
@@Adam-lb3eu I have 26s. Over 100 miles now, and definitely time for a new pair. They are phasing out the 27s in favor for the 28s. If you don't care about the color, you can still find new 26s, but if you want something like black for instance, just get the 28s, which I'm sure will be good.

Decided to get this after loving the previous iterations but haven’t been running regularly. This definitely hurt my foot had to go to the Pegasus 37, maybe I’ll give it a try again

Good reviews BITR guys ! Just ordered my Kayano 27's. If they did a Kayano lite (like the nimbus/nimbus lite), I would be very interested.
My local running store told me Kayano Lite is coming soon!
It’s true yes they will a Kayano light but it’s gonna be mild stability vs the original Kayano is a higher stability
Hi there. How does it compare to the 25? I found the 25 to be far too spacious. It was hard to get a good lockdown.
I have had 5 x Kayanos over my life. Went to the store with the intention to NOT buy another, anything but. Ended up walking out with Kayano 27's. It's hard too break those habits...
When do you decide to buy new one? I used one for 750 km. Last few runs I started experiencing pain on outer side of toe. Feels like Gel effect has gone now. Need help to decide when should I go for new. But shoe other things are well intact. Sole is also im good condition
I am currently in this position now. I was set on getting a different type after wearing Kayano's for 4 years now but any other shoe I put on whilst I may like I feel hesitant and have to think about. I am having shoe commitment issues haha I said today I am just going to buy another pair of Kayano's already because it is what I know and I'm too afraid to spent $$$ and hate the other pair. haha
@@JessieUpward95 I bought Saucony Hurricane 23. I have not regretted my decision.I was bored of going to same shoe when alternate choices are there. I just learned its around consumer behaviour. Some people like to take try different product some dont.
@@rockyx3290 That’s great to hear! I bit the bullet and after writing this comment decided to buy the Hoka Arahi. I tried them in store and they just fit my wide feet so well. Definitely a lot of cushioning which has its pros and cons so I will most likely end up getting another pair to alternate with. But definitely excited to try them out.

I have been wearing this model for years , but the 27 really disappointed me , I felt a bump on the other side of the foot as well as the arch .
This was counterproductive and also gave me really bad pain in the arch area, hope they have improved the 28 one

I weight 210 lbs and find this doesn’t give the cushioning but it’s great for overpronator so support is great. Need to find a shoe that gives better cushioning.
The ASICS Gel Nimbus 23 has a ton more cushioning and gel than these, give those a try

I used to be obest.. (130 kilos 2019) I walked so many kilometers theses years I used so many shoes... Now I'm stuck with Pegasus Turbo 2, and I'm going to return this shity kayano 27 because even now 85 kilos weight... I did 10 kilometers and it was the worst experience ever. I agree with you my friend, no sho k absorption at all.. Especially whe you walk... Running... OK... But still nothing compare the cushioning of the Nike turbo 2. I'm going to try to return and buy a Mizuno (if you can suggest me something) or Saucony Endorphin Speed pro...
I ruptured my Achilles and I’m looking for a more supportive shoe for rehab and getting back to normal. I’m also extremely flat footed. Good choice for this??

1993 - those were the good old days
I bought these and a pair of Asic hyper speed and let me tell you the kayanos are well built and look nice they aren't as good as the hyper speeds from running. a shoe that costs half the price is more comfy to run in than flag ship shoes... only knock on the hyper speed would be the narrow toe.
Hyper speed and Kayano are built for two different needs.

i have one kayano 27 black.... functional wise it is good..but appearance wise it doesn't look premium..my asics superion looks better....asics vinyl out of proportion, grey midsole have cheap texture and looks that of low end shoes... basically it is not like we see in pictures, maybe other colours are better ..but comfort is best till now...
