How to make a HUD for your own car

  • In this video I'm showing you what I did to make my own head-up display for a Fiat Stilo or an Alfa Romeo 159 (or any Lancia/Fiat/Alfa that uses a Marelli body computer and LS CAN for interior communications).
    You can use this recipe to create your own set of indicators, gauges etc. for your own vehicle.

    Great material!
    To improve your final design just be aware of high temperatures on the dashboard that may occur during summer time. And the thing about components, try to use certified parts like AEC-Q which should be more realible in havy duty enviroment.

    Understand there are 16 pins for obd2. Cant we draw output of speed and have it display on hUD?
