💎 It's time for another diamond painting stash update! However, since the majority of my boxes are already packed away in preparation for our move, I decided to do something a little different for this stash video. Instead of hauling out tons of boxes, you will just see pictures of all the kits currently in my stash. While this format is certainly easier on my back, I'm not sure if I like it or not. What do you think? 💎

Hi Daphne, you have a great stash. I have three times what you have. Most are from DAC. My Personal assistant says not to buy any, and I do. Diamond paintings is my drug of choice. Which my addiction to Vicodin. My problem is I don't remember what I purchased. All my Diamond Paintings are in my walk-in-closet. The last place I want to be in a major earthquake is my walk-in-closet.

I feel you have sound reasons for maintaining your stash where it is for now. I’ve stopped buying so I can get my stash down. I have bought any diamond paintings in 1.5 years now. I what to get a little done before I buy more. ❤

I have Kindred Spirits also. I bought Luna with it. I had to save like a crazy person to get them. I am saving now to put in another order. I generally buy from Make Market that are very nice kits. I use coupons, I have 20 canvases. 3 from DAC, 5 very budget kits, 4 Diamond Dotz, 7 Make Market, 1 Leisure Art. I am working on a square from Diamond Dotz and very frustrated, not sure if it’s me or it. You have so many beautiful canvases, I don’t know how you choose. I am on a fixed income, and have a wish list taller than I am😂. Thanks for sharing🥰

I liked the format of this video. Seeing the pictures made it clearer than trying to figure out what the picture is on abox. I just got rid of a whole bunch of older diamond paintings that were not legally licenced. they were poor quality and I was just never going to do them. I feel so much better I probably halved my stash, but i still have nearly 75 I think.

You've got some really pretty pieces in your stash. I've only been diamond painting since May. I'm on my 2nd large project. I've done some smaller projects to break up the jobs. 8 suncatchets, 4 corner book marks. More book marks waiting.

Being a newbie (dp for 6mos), I was😳 at some of the stash videos. Initially I finished one and ordered one. Now, I am up to a stash of two. I’m focusing on purchasing from smaller owned businesses like Bella Art de Nicole that have quality products and beautifully rendered canvases. I do understand that some are collecting artists and there are companies that do limited releases to drive sales. And, I realize I haven’t been through the black Friday sale and I have heard rumors 😂🎉
@@marladillard8721 I think BF is a bigger deal not because of the prices (though sales are always nice), but the companies usually do way more releases than usual, so there is more to pick from. There are some really amazing small companies!
Love the format. So much easier to see the actual picture vs the small one on a box with glare if it’s still in the plastic. I have over 200 in my stash and it’s beginning to feel overwhelming to be honest j

I like this format. I'm new to DP (have only done 3 projects), so I don't have a stash at all. I have one canvas being shipped from overseas from Dreamer Designs but haven't received that one yet. I really enjoy seeing the canvases that other people have in their stash. Thanks!

I'm about at the same stash size as yours. Some days I'm fine with it, most days actually, other days I'm overwhelmed 😂 i still hope and plan to get to them all but how realistic is that.. Nice video! Loved the way you did it with just the photos on screen 😊

I really like the new format because I can see the paintings so clearly. Meanwhile I have 52 in my stash. I’m on a low buy and have purchased 5 paintings this year. I’d like to get my stash down to 15 or 20 total paintings so I don’t feel so overwhelmed.

Great video! I like spangler too and just dragons in general :) my stash is maybe close to 50 I think....i did give a few away bit also bought a few...I like bella arts kits too and they have gotten me a few times...
My family gives me alot of grief and hubby doesn't get it at all but I love the art, I l9ve the process and if I can finish one (cause I'm a serial starter) that is the best part! I hope your moving process goes well !! Thank u for the content it also is part of my " keep this mama sane " ritual.

Lovely kits, I notice you like BRIGHT colours, nothing wrong with that!!!! I have about 100, I was on a no buy this year and trying to "down my stash of 100+" but alas, the TEMU Bug got me and I have a friend buying for me as well. Isnt it just so awful when you find a "series" lol .... Damn shame aint it? Ive given up trying NOT TO buy ... heck I dont smoke, drink alcohol or anything, I just work hard, be a mother, you gotta have some LOVELIES in life ! Thanks for the great video.. Keep them coming ! Loved your format! My stash is only about 12. Already that is a bit stressful. I’m trying not to get hit by fomo, but it is hard. I’m telling myself that there will be new ones I love. I get a bit upset when I miss out on stuff because I have been hesitating too long though!! 😂❤

Hi Daphne. I bought my first diamond painting kit in 2017 but started doing a lot of paper crafting instead until covid hit and got back into it. My stash is sitting at 91 with 7 more on the way. I have a lot of budget kits I got before I really knew what was what. We are moving too and I've had to pack away must of my craft supplies in to storage but was allowed to keep my diamond painting kits here. Thanks for video. 😘

I’ve been dp for a little over a year now. My stash is currently at 22 (20 are from DAC and 2 are from Diamond Dotz). I was at a point where I was going new release crazy, but I’ve slowed down as of last week lol. I’ve put myself on a no buy, as far as kits go. My focus has now turned to building my custom DP pen collection and upgrading some of my other tools
Thanks for sharing!!. I have plan to make one for my stash but I think to do true the sticker sheet. I think the same, I have almost 200 dp and now I have difficult to buy more so I'm happy because I have for a life time I think 😂. I have the same spangler exept for the custom book I have so many books and train of books. Love all of them. ❤

I much prefer seeing the onscreen image versus squinting at the tiny pic on the box. Great job! Benedict Blue was my very first DAC purchase and my first square kit. It is so pretty. It’s framed and hanging on my living room wall. I didn’t see the need to purchase the new one that DAC just released. I don’t think it’s nearly as pretty. My stash hovers around 50 and that includes paint gems - I count each edition as 1. Now that I’ve fallen in love with my J Wall from DPD I confess I don’t want to do anything else. I am smitten with this type of painting and confetti and it’s all I want to work on at the moment. 😂

Loved the new video format! I'm currently trying to decrease me stash. I hit a sort of "mind space" where I feel like this is enough, I don't need any more and I haven't been tempted to buy something for a while. I went through a phase of acquiring quite a few of my unicorns, and it's almost as if my brain decided "OK, I have the ones I wanted, we're good now"

❤ the new format, as it was so much easier for me to see the artwork (small phone screen). Hubby gave me my first DP for Mother’s Day, and I’m hooked!’ I had a stash of 10 budget kits, and then…I “discovered” DAC ( I wonder how that might have happened 🤔) That led to 5 more. Then…I found out about events…oh dear. Just ordered for dp4vets, couldn’t resist some cute cats for next years dp4pets. Did I mention I’m hooked 😂🤣

Loved the video. I did this just yesterday, so I have 32. I also have around 10 minis from paint gem/DAC. My problem is pens! How it happened I have no idea. I just created a pen stash box so will detash at some point. I honestly think I have around 85 pens! Ridiculous! Trays, nah, I have a few. Putty? A good stash of that too! But I’m keeping that! Waxes I should probably de stash, I use glue dots thanks to you, love them, never going back. So your video was very helpful! 😊

I have a small stash. I live in an RV so I don't have a lot of room for storage. I have 7 DAC's, 2 HAED's, and a handful (under 10) of snack sized kits from amazon. I started working on my stash about 2 months ago. Burnt out on knitting for now, I switched so I could basically clear them all out. But I really love diamond painting so I've got a stash again. Yesterday I set up my HAED I started about 4 years ago. It's a sea turtle. I am going to work on it every day along with my Wave Mermaid I have on my desk. I enjoyed this version of a stash video.

According to the DAC website, I have 39 in stash. I have multiple wish lists with them and one is named “stash”. I probably have 9 Dreamer Designs, 1 Oraloa (which is a WIP), 2 Craftibly, quite a few Make Market and Diamond Dotz. I’m not counting the budget kits. Oh! And probably 8 Paint Gem. I liked the format - easier to see the art. Oh, and most of my Dreamer Designs are 60x80 and squares 😂

I’m doing a stash down event this year so I haven’t purchased new canvases in months! However at the rate that I diamond paint, I can finish it in less than 2 years. I have been trying to complete the oldest ones whenever possible. Events sometimes get in the way of that but it’s working! I have 20 canvases from 2021 that I’m trying to get thru by the end of 2025.
Oh I forgot to give my stash count. As of July 1st I’m at 139

I’m not purposely keeping it that low, it’s only because I tend to only buy kits I absolutely have to have. My birthday is this month so I know I will be buying at least a few more when I get my DAC points. 😊

I probably have double the stash but I think I am happy with what I have and so will not buy too many more. I also have looked at what I have and decided that I have enough to keep me happily occupied. So just the odd item on my Wishlist and that is it. I have a friend that reckons I need to get going to reduce the number because I will never be able to take them all into the nursing home😅

I'm pretty sure my stash is over/around 100. I have a secret weapon, though. I can give some of them to my daughter to finish. She's pretty fast and always has one in the works.

I have 2 WIPs, 4 in my stash, and 3 on the way. The 4 in my stash are LARGE. The 2 newest ones are Cherry Blossom Tree and Close Your Eyes from DAC by Dakota Daetwiler. I usually stay at around 10 in my stash. I'm somewhat of a minimalist. I ordered my first Jaded Gem Shop, Gamer Girl. Im so excited to get it!

Just got that diner food art kit in the mail yesterday! My stash is pretty small. I buy kits as I need them or if I find one I really like. I got a few in the mail yesterday but wont buy more till I finish a couple that I have. Nothing against people with huge stashes! I would just eventually lose interest in the older ones and they wouldn't get done.

I am not new to diamond painting but new to completing bigger kits I currently have 4 dac what I consider larger kits but keep seeing other I like where did you get the Josephine one and is she still available it's one of my favourite artworks!
@@victoriawhyte-bp8gr I got both of my J Wall kits from Diamond Painting Deutschland, which is located in Germany. Shipping is a little pricey, but they have a ton of J Wall paintings.
I have been working on 2 a month and so far have completed 9 this year and have 3 WIPS going. I usually onLy have 2 WIPS but I got a painting in that I had been waiting on for a few months and it is Fourth of July themed. So 3 it is. I am a little behind schedule with my goal but it’s ok I feel like I am working at a nice pace and half of my pieces have been on the larger side. I have only purchased 4 new DP so far this year so I feel like I am doing good. I have canvases planned out for the rest of the year. Hoping to make a dent.

I genuinely cannot have a stash. I had one small kit behind one of my bigger kits and I felt a lot of anxiety to get through my big kit so that I could get to my smaller one.
Currently I have 1 WIP and 1 unopened kit along with several cross stitch kits.

Today is my 1 year anniversary for diamond painting…and I have somewhere around 120 in my stash. That’s a bit too much for me, have been trying to be on a no-buy-except-Richard-Lorenz (but diamond art club just released 6…so had to have all of them) - and there are around 6 others that I was too weak to resist. But I’m moving through little by little and it does make me happy! And my hubby is good too - he doesn’t care as long as I’m happy. 😊

Thank you for sharing your stash. I am participating in the #dpstashdown2024 for the year. I started the year with 97 diamond paintings/off canvas projects. I have purchased a little this year but I am still under my start number at 85 diamond paintings/off canvas projects. When I started the stash down effort, I made a deal that I would try and purchase from companies I hadn't tried before. This has helped me from purchasing in large numbers because of sales/deals and FOMO. My purchases have been made more thoughtfully than in the past and I'm comfortable with that. Do you have plans to show us how you are packing/shipping/getting all of your diamond paintings to your new home?

I currently have 43 in my stash, l need to slow down as l am running out of places to put them 😂… the question l get asked the most from my friends is what do you do with all the finished ones…lm keeping them for now and have framed a couple. What do you do with all your finished pictures?
@@Owllover333 Some I frame and hang, some I give away, but a lot of them are just stored in portfolios.
I currently have about 20 diamond paintings in my stash, and my goal is to decrease that to basically nothing, which I'm also hoping to do with my other hobbies (I crochet and cross stitch as well). I've realized that while I can afford to build a stash, it's also overwhelming for me having so many options and yet still looking for new things. My goal is to be on a low buy for all hobbies, basically only getting what I need to work through what I already have, and then only purchase one or two at a time moving forward. Given how much I bounce between hobbies, I expect it will be quite a while before I'm at that point 😅

@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous you are a very smart woman marrying a Canadian!!!😁. My husband is from central Georgia and if I told him we were moving to Canada he would kill himself packing our stuff!! He loves Canada and your husband is far a gorgeous part of Canada. I am a bit envious. Also your husband is like mine as long as bills are paid and we aren’t lacking anything my husband does not comment of the size of my stash, he actually encourages it because diamond painting and crafting in general helps with my mental health. I work in health care it helps to create something beautiful when not everything I do is beautiful!!!
