Quality Firewood Is Hard To Buy

#54. Thought it would be a good idea to sample the local competition. So far I am not finding any quality firewood out there. We are going to turn this ugly cord into premium firewood that will be ready to sell next winter.

For me, I like having an assortment of firewood: some small, some medium, some large, some dry and some green. Just depends on the type of fire you are wanting: slow, medium or fast burning. Also, there are other factors as to how much heat (btu) you want, etc. So premium firewood to me comes in many flavors.

It’s truly shocking to see what kind of product is available from “competitors”. I had gotten a load of mixed split hardwood and it was more boiler wood than anything else.

Wait until you see my next video. I bought another cord from a different seller. Not only was it boiler wood it was a face cord short.

I make bulk premium fire wood it’s more about taking care of your customers. I been at this 35 years . I move a lot of good quality wood . I am in NC .

They aren't that much longer. I would have bundled them at that length. It took more time than it was worth to cut them down one at a time. Look for restaurants that smoke or pizza places that use a wood fired oven. I have 60 cords of mostly hickory that has been on a concrete floor, under a shelter house from 3-24 years.
