That joke about helicopters in Afghanistan was horrible. I hope you just have no idea how badly civilians were terrorized by helicopters there and how many innocent people were killed from above. I liked Eric before that joke...
seems a bit toxic when playing against hinileb, rated 792, to not just deliver a faster mate but to move all your pawns to the 7th. you are a GM, you don't need to toy with actual beginners who have no material. when you do it against another GM who is refusing to resign it's different because they know the etiquette. this is just some guy enjoying chess who got absolutely stomped by someone who has played for maybe tens of thousands of hours and then gets belittled at the end.
@@gt3094 not sure how "Get Good" makes any sense as a response at all given we are not talking about my experiences in chess or my level of play. anyways, when you learn to comprehend the things you read i will consider chatting with you more, because right now it seems like it would be a waste of time.
@swamp I'm speaking in general to get good not just you, but it sounds like you're the one in need too. If you don't want GMs slamming you, then get better at the game. You spew paragraphs with nonsense.
@@gt3094 you are completely missing the point. get good is not an appropriate response given it does not address the complaint i made in the original comment in any way. i am not suggesting GMs should not beat low rated players when they play them, although the fact GMs are stomping beginners with speedrunning accounts is a separate and controversial topic. while he plays these beginners he does not need to be objectively condescending with comments like "we need to break their spirit". why does he need to break their spirit? that's gross. they are learning the game he spent countless hours mastering, and he needs to break their spirit? that's my problem with the video. the part where he's toxic. not the part where he wins, which is the only possible conclusion when a 100%ile rated player plays an 10%ile one.

Bummer. Get Good. Remember chess is still a game meaning the players can do whatever they want on the board.
