- Here is a video highlight of my Twin Galaxies verified Klax world record high score of 6,422,470 recorded in inp format using Wolfmame183 on July 13th, 2017. This scoring run uses the default settings with "Ramping" on and difficulty set to moderate to match the Twin Galaxies and MARP rule sets for this track.

It's the 2020s, and there is still time for Klax.
This is insane lol. I would have never thought to line up the squares this way. Very impressive. The amount of throwing the squares back on the line required to do it though scares me off. Also the speed shown just blew my mind.

Why not just play it now? Emulation is so easy. If you can open a Word file in Microsoft Word, then you can use an emulator. You just download the emulator (MAME in this case since it's an arcade game, or you can use a console emulator to play a port of the game, like the PC Engine version). And then you download the game ROM file. Then you open it in the emulator and start playing. You can do this on your phone or your tablet or your PC or whatever. Use a Bluetooth controller, e.g. an xbox 360 or xbone controller if you have one of those, or just buy one of the super high quality 8bitdo Bluetooth controllers, like their one that's like a snes controller with two handles so it looks like a PlayStation controller, that particular one has become my main controller for PC and Switch, cos it's so high quality, plus it has turbo button functionality, which comes in handy all the time, in every game, or you can even program macros into it so that you can instantly do special moves in fighting games or whatever
Anyway I'm rambling. But yeah, whatever devices you have, there's emulator apps for them. So go play Klax again. This time, if you're gonna emulate the arcade version, you have infinite free quarters lol

the arcade hidden gem
I had this on psone, part of a 6 game game collection on one disc called Arcade Party Pak. I was never very hood at it... at least nowhere near this level but it was fun. I used to find it funny when you missed the blocks because of the voice that spoke when you did.
Anyway great video, don't know how you managed this skill to get a score so high.

Sí. Wave 100 es el nivel final de este juego. Completar la ola final tiene un premio de 1,000,000 de puntos y el juego termina automáticamente una vez que se completa ese nivel. ¡Saludos desde el soleado sur de Florida!

Thank you. I haven't fired up Klax in few years. I always wanted to come back to it and give the 1cc speed run a proper effort. Usually, it's only when a particular game appears in a tournament that the competitive juices get going. I mostly play Donkey Kong these days and some of the 80s platformers.. Why would you buy it when you can play it for free on any device you own? Why not just play it now? Emulation is so easy, you can be playing the arcade version of Klax in a few minutes from now, and yeah if you have a device that can watch TH-cam videos, then you can emulate games on it, because there's emulator apps/programs that exist for every device.

If you have any problems, search for the problem on Google or TH-cam and you'll find the solution. If you're using a controller, you have to go into the settings menu and map the buttons to the arcade button actions in the game, but doing that is easy as pie. It's not complicated in the least

@@Yautja24 safely? There's no danger to it whatsoever. A SWAT team is not going to break down your door and arrest you lol. Don't worry about it, it's completely legal. Emulating is very very simple. You Google, for example "arcade emulator" and you find the emulator program and download it. Or if you're using a pgoen or tablet, you go to the Google Play store and search for an emulator in that, yes all the emulators for every console and system are right there on the Google play store, because it's all legal to do this
Once you've got the emulator installed, you Google "[game name] ROM". So for example say I wanna play super Mario bros 3. I'd Google "super Mario bros 3 NES ROM". And there's a bunch of websites that turn up, so you just download the ROM file from one of those sites. Then once it's downloaded, you simply open the ROM file in the emulator, just like you open a Word filed in Microsoft Word. Then that's it. It's that simple
You definitely can emulate. You're definitely smart enough. Because it really is astonishingly simple to do

While the score was impressive. You may have the ramping ON BUT the difficulty was EASY. On normal difficulty there would be no way you would get past the fast diagonal board 57 unless you got lucky. By then the tiles would come down in bunches from the start. I played all the levels and I know .

the important thing is to beat lavels fast (by pullign down tiles) and warping as much as possible. if you don't warp, you wil get destroyed long before level 50 because of the ramping.
