    So... you create rainbow platforms that you can just land on in the same jump you made them. Thus negating the entire point of a platformer. Alrighty.

    I remember being so excited to try this game as a kid, having adored Bubble Bobble. Then I finally had the chance to rent it and... yuck. It's so janky and pointless. I don't think I ever bothered to get past level 2. But I never noticed until watching this video just how many pauses there are in this game. You have to stare at a title screen for ten seconds before pressing start; you defeat a boss and then stand there looking at its discolored corpse while some jingle plays; then there's another jingle after every single level, "get ready!" I guess my biggest takeaway is how little there is to this game. Anyway, great speed run!
