Sims 3 Super Simself Challenge! | Crashing into Stardom

Hi everyone! Sorry for the slightly delay on this episode, I was set back by The Sims 3 being The Sims 3 and lots of crashes which pushed out recording time which pushed out editing time which pushed out thumbnail time... anyway!
Today Beth gets stuck into her singer career, settles into the home family life, and then baby Emilia has a birthday!

In Around the sims 3's tumblr there is blankets, baskets and little things to put the baby in (they function as the playmat from the store's toys workbench).

There is an nRass mod that auto saves your game every half hour! I use it and it has been a LIFESAVER! It holds up to 5 saves in the auto save feature and just keeps cycling them (2.5 hours backtrack time is good too when you hit bugs!).

I love how she runs over toddlers and old ladies with the pram. I was watching Emi on the grass, do sims 3 babies move at all? I wish we had prams in the sims 2. Such a great game feature.

The guy stuck by the front door the whole night 😂 and also , I think the sims 3 baby items are bugged to keep their motives maxed. I know the playpen does that

My game keeps crashing too, it’s not just you! 😣 it doesn’t matter what pack I play, it crashes constantly, it’s so frustrating!! Thank you for pushing through to finish the episode 😂❤️

The rocking chairs and the baby swing (when turned on) both boost energy (and on mode swing boosts all stats except social), supposedly gently but sometimes it seems a bit OP. Edit to add: apparently you alrready knew, lol. That's what I get for commenting while still watching. Doh!

Great episode! I also keep getting this bug where everytime I go to the map view the game crashed instantly and it's so annoying! Since I have zero understanding of how to fix it, this leaves me with my only option: playing the Sims 2 instead 😅

Sorry that you're having crashing issues- I know how frustrating that can be, especially when you're trying to record. I hope it's something that can be sorted easily, otherwise moving worlds sounds like it could be a good idea. As you mentioned, you didn't seem to have the same issue at uni or world adventures. It's fun to see the singing career in action since I've never tried it before. The oogie-boogie disco song sounds awfully familiar 🤔 Is it from ts1?! Being able to take babies anywhere usig a pram is such a wonderful feature! I wish that could be implemented in ts2 somehow one day ❤

I think it's called heterochromia, at least in humans. (Two different colored eyes)
