I was taught that carbonated drinks do not settle your stomach and are in fact quite bad for your stomach (they cause the production of stomach acid and contain a lot of sugar). Hey, not sure if you got the chance but there is this spot called Beetle Rock and it is by far my favorite place in this particular national park. Easily in my top five favorite locations I have been to. You are most likely far and away now, but on the off chance you ever return there, you should check it out. Also there is a gas station close to the base of the park that has an enormous rattlesnake skin that the owner of the gas station found.
Candied/crystallized ginger is better for settling your stomach than carbonated drinks...trust me. Mint works well too, but ginger knocks that unsettledness right out

Yosemite in the winter is amazing! I go on America journeys every January/February and Yosemite was the highlight of the trip this year, so stunning.
