- Guinea Pig shaped fairy lights are for all year, not just for Christmas. There's just not enough Guinea Pig related stuff in the world so I'm on a mission to fix that! Armed with some Aex UV Resin, a mould and some cheap fairy lights.

Yes I've seen people do it with the tiny skills, they work a treat. I've been doing these for about 5 years so I was chuffed to see people doing the tiny skulls like this

yes you can glitter them - and colour them. Basically as long as the uv can get all through to colour them it'll work.

Yeh they are tough. The one I did had everything going for it. An affluent footfall, good setup, no duplicate stalls, well advertised.... it's a tricky one

These turned out so cute! They'd look adorable on a little tree. I bet if you made another little mold, you could think up a way to cure two at the same time. 😍
I have 20 of those moulds lol. 2 at a time I can sort of do but it's too easy to slip up and not cure one right so - better to focus one at a time really. I'm sure someone better at multitasking than i could do it though

Very bright little fellas. Could you show sometime how you would use the lights?
well - i often wear them round my neck to look ridiculous lol. they are nice on a table centre decor or round a tiny christmas tree.
I string them around my displays if I do a live sale ( which I rarely do) . Definitely can't decorate Fudge's run with them - he's chew through the cables

You could reduce the time it takes by having a second light and mold. With 20 lights start with the end and the 11th light. This way you can mount the UV at 18 inches to 2 ft apart and cure 2 at a time just moving it down the line.
Someone better at multitasking than me could yes but I made a total hash of it when I tried that, and it all got rather stressful lol
@@miniscenesgb I haven't tried it yet. I may run into the same. Too many plates to keep spinning. This is the first time I have seen this. I have one of these fairy light sets so I am going to have to give it a try.

Hi just watched this video and it gave me a thousand ideas. Could you color the resin with white lights and may give even more customizable options? I think I might try a few of these lights.
Yes though best to use proper premixed coloured UV resin then you can be sure it'll still cure. You could put glitter, glow powder and all sorts in - just need to make sure the light still passes through to cure them

Hi there, was wondering if you made a mold with multiple cavities it would make it faster. 😊❤😊 just an idea
A good idea for most makes but I did try that for these but it took a while to set up a grip to hold multiple wires - turned out quicker to do one at a time. Maybe others could make that work but I just am not dexterous enough :)
@miniscenesgb understandable, the idea just popped into my head. Lol. I sometimes think of these ideas and I don't take the time to think it through. LOL

Go for it! Any suitably sized mould that the light can get through will work

I had been wondering if I could put those lights in resin. I’ve been scared to try. I have one of those UV clip lights for my nails…they work wonders!

yes, though shipping costs can be high and sometimes import tax might get added, a;; of which is beyond my control. These lights are on sale in my ebay store as I haven't got as far as adding them to my website store yet
