I would love to see a video about your favorite memoirs. I typically don't love celebrity memoirs, but I'm Glad My Mom Died was pretty great. I was always jealous of those kids growing up, because for some reason I figured their real lives had to be as rosy as it looked on TV.
I think we all thought that. With all the stuff that’s been coming out lately with what those Disney and Nick kids went through, it’s gut wrenching to think about
Great list! I'd love to hear about your favorite memoirs generally speaking. The best celeb memoir I've read in the last couple years was Hello Molly by Molly Shannon. I also liked Simone Biles, Britney Spears, and Lisa Jakub.
First off, would love a video of your favorite memoirs. I’ll wait for that before I recommend my favorite non-celebrity ones. I’m not big on celebrities in general, but I do enjoy listening to comedian’s memoirs read by the author since there’s bound to be some good laughs. A few that come to mind that I enjoyed are Believe Me by Eddie Izzard, All About Me by Mel Brooks and Stay Hungry by Sebastian Maniscalco. Another fun video!
I really enjoyed open book Jessica Simpson did a brilliant job i also enjoyed spare over the top was good definitely love to see a video on your favorite memoirs
My favorite memoirs High on arrival by Mackenzie Phillips The great peace by mena suvari Not my father son by alan cumming his first memoir Miss memory lane by colton Haynes Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey Out of shape by gracie gold In pieces by sally field Spare From this moment by shaina Twain Know my name by chanel Miller Brave by rose McGowan This is me by Christie metz
Great list! I haven’t read any of them but there are a few I’d like to try. I haven’t read a lot of memoirs at all but I would like to sprinkle some in 😊 Have you watched The Crown?
@@bookloverlaura I'm not really a big history fan, but I loved the show anyway! It feels slower paced, but it's worth it. It felt more humanizing than history, to me, but it also gives some insight into the big historical "plot points". Perfect for fall too, I think. 😊
I read and liked Being Henry and Spare. I did not enjoy Jenny McCurdy's book. I read Matthew Perry's book, and like Jenny's book, I felt they just felt sorry for themselves. I think I would enjoy reading Jessica Simpson's book based on your review. Thanks.
Interesting! I definitely heard that about Matthew Perry’s, like he didn’t really take much responsibility for his actions. I’d love to know your thoughts on Jessica’s if you end up reading it!
I really liked Becoming and Spare as well. And I haven't read On Writing, but I hope to get to it either by the end of the year or early next year.
Ahh it's such a good one! Especially for writers!

Love that! The only one of those I’ve read is Britney’s, so I’ll check out the others for sure. Thanks!
I love Over the Top! It’s one of the first memoirs I’ve ever read.
I just love him so much. Definitely read his other one too!

I haven't! My sister is always telling me I should though. She's a big British history fan
