for real or at least just do it every 2 or 3 years when people with mini phones have degraded the battery so much they want to upgrade... people just didn't get the mini models because of how shitty 12 mini was with battery but it served its purpose enough not to warrant an upgrade immediately the next year, that's probably why 13 mini didn't sell as much... If they'd release 13 mini as the first one I'm sure it'll receive a lot better reception.
I’m a 13 mini user since its launch and I’m gonna replace the battery very soon in order to keep it for an other year, it is still a great iPhone and super easy to handle
As an iPhone 13 mini user for almost 3 years I can say this phone has pretty decent battery. I hope that as chip miniaturizing evolves some day in the future we’ll have compact phones again.
@@NgongNgamongit really isnt so bad. you get by with 6-7 hours of screen on time with minimal usage. of course, batter lessens the more the screen is on and depending on which apps you use but it does the job. if you have a car charger/magsafe power bank you will be fine
I just sold my Galaxy S24 Ultra and got a 13 Mini instead. The s24 was a great phone but it was way too big and I also just couldn't justify the price I paid for it. It was like having a Ferrari and keeping it in a garage, since I literally only text, occasionally take some pictures and listen to music on my phone. I don't even watch TH-cam videos on it anymore. I hope to like the 13 mini! It seems to do everything I need a phone to do just fine.
@@JudasPV Well, I got one used with 85% battery health, so, while it’s not really great, it serves me well, because I don’t really use my phone that much anymore. I get around 5h of SOT if I push it, but I’ve been trying to keep my screen time below 2 hours. I still love it and consider it the best phone I’ve had, you just can’t beat the form factor.
Obs the 13 mini is not good in battery like bigger smartphones and bigger iphones, and yours is at 85. So happy for you. I will gonna buy one new this fall

I had 12 mini, immediately bought the 13 mini the day apple decided not to launch 14 mini. Got the 512GB version for the sake of me using it as long as I can in hope apple will change their mind in some distant future. Glad I did it because merely a year later, 13 mini is a dying breed and really really hard to get here, costing MORE than a regular 13

The 13 mini is easily the best iPhone ever made. The 5.4” size is perfect and I cannot appreciate a larger screen size if it means giving up the convenience a phone that can be used with only one hand.
Great video. I'm at about 3 years with my 13 mini and still about 80 percent satisfied.. I'd like a usb c and a 90hz or faster screen. I definitely won't be upgrading anytime soon unless there are any other options that are the size of the Iphone mini. I've bought a couple over the last couple years but returned within a few days... once you use the mini it's very hard to go back to a larger phone.
these phones are bullet proof, i have my 12 mini since 2019, ive dropped it a million times onto ceramic and asphalt and ive never shattered the screen. Thats 100% the reason why apple isnt offing it anymore..they have no way of repeat business on it

I have, since 2009, been a Samsung Galaxy user and have been more than satisfied. But recently it went bang, dumped all my data and records and then refused to work properly. I hate, hate, hate large phones so was looking for something in the sub 6 inch screen category. The best option was the iPhone 13 mini which I bought and have been amazed with. Things like being able to get one's emails with the touch of the screen and the better system of writing text messages etc. Very delighted with it I am too.
If you need anything bigger, just get a MacBook use a computer. Use a smart TV. They’re all over the place now I mean use a phone like a phone whatever happened with that. I love my mini.
I honestly think that Apple will gradually keep increasing the size of the current/new iPhones, as it looks like will happen yet again with the iPhone 16 Pro/Max being announced next week, just so that they can reintroduce the mini size a few years from now. Here's to hoping that happens, because I just bought a refurb 13 mini, because I'm tired of lugging around the brick that is my iPhone 15 Pro.

I traded my 12 Mini for a 13 Mini a year and a half ago when we switched from Verizon to T-Mobile. My Apple Care expires in early November and I suspect it may get “damaged” and replaced shortly before then. I have two lines on it (one from T-Mobile and one from Consumer Cellular/AT&T), so I might just buy the new SE when it finally comes out just to have an option of screen sizes, but I definitely will not be trading in the 13 Mini.

I was confused whether to get the newest iPhone 16 265 gp for 1150$ or iphone 13 mini because im veryy interested in it since it is the last small iphone finally I've made the decision and ordered a new iphone 13 mini 512 gp for 840$ it will arrive in 2 days. The reason i choose it even though it's close to the newest iPhone price is because I got sick of big phones I remember having iPhone 5s as my first iphone and it was my best phone era , I used to take pictures a lot because i've enjoyed it. now I don't take pictures that much because I don't like the size of my phone I feel sometimes it's like a burden to even hold it, even though I have long fingers! it kinda made me lazy on taking new pictures. I'm very excited and i will comeback to give my opinion about it as soon as it arrives

I mean iOS 13 ist still the default minimum requirement for apps, so even if Apple won’t bring another mini (which i don’t hope), most new apps should work on the mini 6-7 years in the future

I've heard of other ppl doing this. I'd use mini as an accessory when you don't need to carry a phablet. On jogging runs/ when wearing shorts etc. I like the 15PM or s24U when you need more fire power or have a jacket.

I was thinking about either getting the base iphone 15 256gb model or a 13 mini 256gb model as a work phone, as my personal phone will always be an android phone due to being more flexible, as I live in Canada, I can't get the newest iphone 15 for anything less than $1500 CAD when choosing the 256gb model, while I can get an amazon refurbished 13 mini 256gb model for less than $650 CAD, which is nearly $1000 CAD less, which is really compelling to me

It does not have night mode and the battery is atrociously smaller than the 13 mini. I think it’s 1600 or 1800 mA versus the minis 2400 mA so sidenote there’s that FYI I’ve got the 13 mini paired with a iPad Pro M4 with a keyboard :-) then running TV with my for my viewing pleasure of anything big Big I need quite awesome set up or downgraded myself from the iPhone 15 Pro I had which does not always give you 48 megapixel pictures. By the way let the record show only in certain circumstances of I believe times one or times two and not consistently at max settings. Killed the battery to 77% in less than two years, but I use it heavily. I love the phone and I don’t plan to upgrade it anytime soon.

Love mine. Sadly the battery health has declined to 81% maximum capacity. Only started to noticed the decline after warranty expired.

4hrs screen on time on 17.5.1 is great I think. Could have got 5hrs on a 100% battery capacity.
