Quick tip for background app refresh- if you don’t want to do it yourself just turn on low power mode😅
It's not the same thing as restricting background app refresh - not even close.
Hey, turning off transparency and animation and using the zoomed option in "Display Zoom" in "Display & Brightness"(this reduces the screen's resolution so less power gets used so better battery life) did get me around 25% longer battery life on my iPhone X, tho it did make the experience a bit worse.

To save battery 🔋 I recommend creating an automation in your shortcuts :
Automation 1 : When your phone joins any WiFi network SET Mobile Data to OFF
Automation 2 : When your phone leaves any WiFi network SET Mobile Data to ON
This will automatically switch between mobile data and WiFi whenever one is available and turn off the other, I saved significant battery doing this

@@thesamuelnam also to « extend » the life expectancy of the battery, as Apple can’t be bothered to give us the option to stop charging at 80% and only gives that to 15 pro users, I created an automation that when battery raises above 80% I get a notification or a text to speech to remember to unplug it. You could also do something similar with HomeKit Compatible plugs that switch off once the iPhone reaches 80%. Although to be fair this phone is mostly better used when battery is charged to 100% and then change the battery for a new one once it’s loosing too much potential
your data is automatically turned off when u on wifi any way so no need to turn that off when on wifi u not gone be on both
@@Cjmboo no it’s not, data is still working in the background to compensate any loss of WiFi signal, if you were to be on a FaceTime call and walk out your house the transition would be almost instant as the data is still functioning in the background. I hope this helps

That mail notification schedule I don't think it works that way, you can only change the frequency it checks for stuff if you use fetch, only that changes the refresh rate of mails!

Key thing I found with mine which saves a massive chunk of battery was turning 5G/LTE off to 4G only. If you're only using the phone for general web browsing you're not going to see a difference in speed, but doing this I doubled it's life

I turn off 5g right away and only a handful times when I need the speed l turn it on. Even then, I can barely tell.

that’s very cool of you. guess i’m more asking if the files are editable png/ico or if the psd’s available. i’m a pro artist so i could handle the photoshopping. likely wouldn’t stick with one color for everything. lazy to build a pack myself, this seems like a great minimalist idea with the oled screen, and i’d like to support your channel. haven’t bought this phone yet, but i’ll pick the pack up if i do.

I turn on airplane mode and Wi-fi calling when at home. The phone still receives calls and txt messages. It will save some battery %.
I turn off location when at home too. Using a shortcut for this makes it less painful.

@@hackneyman ngl had some issues with reception recently. Carrying my iPhone always, it saved me more than once. I'll probably make another video after my 3rd month with it. Detailing the issues and how bad they are. I can't put my finger on when reception is bad. It seems to be random. Oh and battery seems to be similar to iPhone 15. Gets me through a day with normal 4sot. Need to top up for 5+

I daily a Pixel 8. Hence the android watch (Ticwatch Pro 5) also have a galaxy watch 6 classic. Trust me, android watch looks good, but they suck in comparison to apple watch in every other way. I have no other choice because of my pixel.

funny enough, all ive done for my SE 2022 is turn off 5G and it's already getting better battery life than my Pixel 8
Like the tips here , however the minis aren’t really made for good battery life. They’re the weakest in battery life second only to the SE. The base 15 isn’t even that big of a phone and will save a lot of battery anxiety. Outside of the apple realm though there are the zenfones , flips and what not which give you good battery life without these compromises.
