As somebody mentioned in the previous South Park upload.. the show was really popular in the 2000s so it got a bunch of games including this kart racer. It's not your usual kart racer though, the main mode basically takes you through all of the race tracks but with unique objectives added to each of them such as collecting a certain amount of eggs spawned throughout the track. Whilst the concept sounds pretty simple and enjoyable, I found a lot of these stages to be unnecessarily difficult. It's nice they tried to add their own spin to it but I would've preferred a normal kart racer
I have to say myself. I found the game pretty easy. If you had discovered the handbrake turn function it would've been much easier for you tbh. But yeah, in general, even as a kart racer, it was a very simple and easy game
The objectives made it stand out. Why would they make the same thing as Mario Cart? The objectives made it more strategic, rather than simply being fast.
I absolutely adored the PS1 version of this game. I never had the N64 version but that may change. This is one of the better titles from Acclaim that i enjoyed very much
I tried playing the PS1 version of this and I legitimately couldn't get my head around it. 😵💫 I found navigating the tracks really confusing and the game-feel of driving around wasn't great either. I like South Park, but the Acclaim era games are just a weird time. 😅
A little 🐦 told me that there’s an announcement 📣 teaser for the upcoming *South Park* game called *South Park: ❄️ Day* and for the first time since back in the days of the psx and n64, it’s in *3D*

The N64 version had less characters. At least the UK version had less which was gutting
@sdstewart87 that is true. Scuttlebutt and Ms Cartman are missing. Thats if my memory serves right.

Yeah, the PS1 had the worst ports of the early South Park games, unfortunately.
@@LITTLE1994 Really? Even the infamous FPS with low draw distance?

Yeah, this game was a feeble answer to the Mario Kart games at the time.
Best game ever made
I have no idea what possessed me to search for this but my god did it unlock some seriously ancient memories
the game cover for this goes so FUCKING hard
Good game and song.
Imagine playing this on modern hardware with a racing wheel
I have this particular South Park video game too, but only for PS1 though since I only have just the PS1 version of this game.
Kenny would be excellent at longplay archive
Lol
"CHristmas Day"?
