This game looks and feels immersive as hell (no pun intended), they have really done an outstanding job with the scenery, animations, physics, etc.
Well the physics and historic immersion sucks ass but other than that
The maps are historically accurate to the day. They obtained maps of the day and photographs to recreate everything as close to as original during WWII

@@codenamedingo6271 Only the heightmaps and general layout are accurate. PHL, Hill 400 and Hürtgen for example are very inaccurate, PHL being flat grounds with practically no bushes, trees, buildings, etc on it, Hürtgen being a much thicker forest without buildings other than fortifications in the area depicted and Hill 400 didn't have such fortifications on it either

Have you played Post Scriptum? You should definitely play it if you want realism, especially with sniping. Love HLL as well but I'm more of a realism guy so I play PS more. It'd be cool to get some more exposure for the game too.
Personally i like hell let loose more cuz it’s more casual to play.

You should try out sniping in Post Scriptum. If you want realism, that's your game. You'll actually have to zero your guns, account for bullet velocity, etc.
I mean, Hell Let Loose also has bullet velocity. It's not hitscan as you can see from the video.

wait how is it not realistic? they're a designated sniper squad of which there are only 2 per team. The rest of the infantry have unscoped Kar98s with the odd MP40 thrown in.
