Thanks Mike, I've had no trouble with the repair.
You still have to be careful with E10 petrol as this can also attack solder.

Hiya.! I've soldered copper pipe before with a Butane torch and that always seams to burn the flux. When I used the paint stripper it didn't, I could believe it 😃
