You just sent this 40- something old lady back to my high school band days! I played bass clarinet and I IRC, our part was almost identical to yours! I loved playing in band.
@user-sq7rs2cg9v In my version it is a sub for bass sax (we do have one) so they forgot to move the low g back up the range so they expect me to play low g
My Youngblood… there is zero things wrong with your tone and articulation! Excellent work in the field! When I played the berry sax at your age, I was sharper than attack, and it sounded disgusting! You are laying down the law with this!
Cause it's banger(our band never plays it and we're all sad abt it) But actually similar to how hey baby, Louie louie, and land of 1000 dances are pepband classics- it just kind of became a part of the culture I guess
My high school doesn't play it because the middle school band director doesn't care to play harder songs or teach them, leaving the poor freshmans teaching themselves which they're incapable of doing apparently.
I've been the percussion in this - that clapper is the best instrument in the entire band for the duration of this song and I totally agree with doing a little hop when you play it
uhhh, your tone is not bad my g. That is a nice clean bari tone. It really fits the concert band sound
It's a g#

I play bari sax for my High School's Sax orchestra and 99% of my song is quarter note from D to Low A
Don't forget from g to low c as well 😅
