Sanyo 56" industrial ceiling fan

This is my 13th ceiling fan!
a Sanyo 56" industrial ceiling fan, model : EF-A56C. I got this unexpectedly for an extremely good deal!
Originally one of my friends owned it. He didn't use it that much, it was rarely used. Because of that, he offered it to me and I bought it for Rp.100,000 ($6). Normally these fans in NOS condition cost around $52. It was one chance I could never resist!
The fan's downrod was originally as long as one blade. I cut it down and now it remains just a little longer than my Sogo's rod. It still needs repainting though, behind the upper canopy. Some parts of the blades are rusted. The fan's capacitor is a bit melted, Probably because of an exposed wire touching the capacitor's body. I've already covered the cap with some tape, re-adjusted the wiring, and now it's safe to go!
The fan has good air delivery. But still, it isn't the strongest in terms of airflow, out of all ceiling fans I have. Maybe because of the short downrod? IDK. Overall performs nicely other than some speeds being stalled out due to the regulator.

fun fact, Sanyo bikin kipas ini buat menggempur eksistensi F-560A1 di jamannya. sama seperti KDK WZ56-1, Sanyo mempercayakan produsen kipas dari cina untuk meng-outsource produksi kipas ini (makanya desainnya Matsushita banget, dari kanopi, tipe motor sama blade arm-nya), cmiiw.
sayangnya, kayaknya nasibnya ga sesukses National. di kotaku, Sanyo model ini tuh bisa dibilang barang super langka (kemungkinan ada nya paling cuma 1/10 atau bahkan 1/20. pernah ketemu, itu pun juga cuma sekali, di daerah jawa timur.

Kalo saya pernah nemu Sanyo di tempat salah satu Space yang dulunya sempat jadi Toko Kaset (Kipasnya masih ada walaupun tempat Space itu gak kepakai lagi, karena Toko Kaset itu sudah pindah).
Saya disana nyari Kaset PS2 itu kipasnya berputar kondisi Sedang-Ngebut terus kipas lainnya Panasonic dan KDK (kalo gak salah) itu tidak kondisi berputar.

Downrod seems long enough to produce decent airflow (though still ideally would be at least as long as the blades when on a tall ceiling). It’s probably the combination of the not-super-long rod and the short distance between the blades and the walls

yup, the airflow is still decent!
i'd like to find another long rod, or make one to use someday.. i had to cut the Sanyo's down because for now i can't use any other downrod for it
