@@SheetMusicBoss Thank you so much for commenting! Btw, I’m working on a roll of Subwoofer Lullaby. If everything goes to plan it will be done in a couple of days. :D
@@imnotsure3451 It’s not sorcery! It’s a player piano! :D The music is a roll of paper with the notes cut into it. The trackerbar draws air into the holes and plays the notes on the piano. Practically nobody these days has ever seen one. Now you have! :)
Bro, I've never seen something like this before, and as a pianist I wonder how this works (not being a modern piano with mecanism that plays by itself) Good video tho
@@juandaxox27 It’s called a player piano. Basically, it’s a 100 year old midi player. The midi file is a paper roll that has been perforated with specific holes that represent notes in the music. When the hole in the paper goes over the trackerbar, it opens a small hole, which allows air in to trigger a valve which puts vacuum to a small bellow to snap shut and play the key. The earliest versions of this mechanism were made around 1890. This piano is from the 1920s. If you want to know more I recommend you check out Nate Otto’s channel “Outside the Vacuum.” Thanks for you kind words. :)
This is amazing! Lovely to see these crazy projects come to life, and very happy to be part of it :)

This song is one of three songs I remember pre 1.9 Minecraft by. Those were good times.
Nevermind, just two. I thought the second half of Mice on Venus was a different song.
Okay, now I wonder what Minecraft music would be like on an American Fotoplayer, with more sound effects available
@@StuffandThings_ Pretty sure they did it on a pipe organ. In my opinion a photo player might be a bit overboard lol.
What type of sorcery is this😟
it’s beautiful

Very well done! Where did you get the roll-width paper?
QRS. They sell 40 ft for 20$. This roll took about 25 ft even though the tempo is only 50. Thanks!
