15 years after green street came out and still listening to this song, brings back a load of memories especially with my sister who i unfortunally lost last year to cancer, this song is amazing, you would have never known it was jeremy van holden who sung it!!!

I agree that the song is quite clearly ripped straight from Brothers In Arms. But I believe that's the idea. The Dire straight lyric is "you did not desert me, my brothers in arms" which captures the true meaning of the film. If you know the song you should understand why it has been used.
