Isn't because the killing and action, isn't because of the revenge, it's because it show an example lacking in society today. A disciplined, compentent, strong and focused man. That can also be a gentleman. Not a perfect man as well. It reasonates because it's what we all crave. Some people don't get why John Wick it's such a great movie and why it's so popular. Mistakenly thinking only about the violence or Keanu Reeves (the perfect actor for the part, but the script is even more important).

@@sethgray4979 the first movie is like the introduction of john wick but then it needs to go along a storyline that is good enough and suitable for his character. Nevertheless, people still never forgot about the type of person John is.... a man of focus, commitment and sheer will. And it won't change for the rest of the franchise either.

the fact that this song was in the movie that was released in the same year and a kind of similar plotline makes it even more fitting (the movie is The Equalizer(the one acted by Denzel Washington))

I can feel John's anger building as I hear the puppy cry and laying there dead beside him.
After seeing that scene.....now I know why he killed them. That dog was more than just a dog, it was his Guardian Angel bringing him peace after all the misery he was going through. They really did kill a piece of him when they did that. I really need to see these movies now.
a grieving husband that lost his dog and wife that has Assassin's training is the type of person should make people afraid.
It's weird that it doesn't...like a cognitive bias that leans away from natural and survival instincts.

I never watched any of the movies. Only heard some scenes and remember his name. But....John Wick, just his character from this tribute. Tells me all about his loss, his blood, his determination.....his vengeance. Overall, just a perfect tribute to a great character and an even better actor for its role.

I'm not joking here. This is probably the best tribute video I've seen for john wick. The scenes are well placed and really compliment the song in general.

It's funny how well the music from The Equalized (a movie where an ex secret, black-ops agent has to deal with russians) fits with a movie where an assassin has to deal with russians.

Very good use of narration, fine balance of dialogue scenes and action that fits right in line with the mood of the song as well as its lyrics, there was a mouse pointer visible at 5:18 but that's a minor nitpick, otherwise very well-made tribute, never thought to use Zack Hemsey's Vengeance but it's a great choice ! Liked !

Gosh I don't know how Keanu even dates movies like this probably give girls unrealistic expectations about him.
