I'm finally back with a new video!
I'm sorry it took such a long time. Since it's my first time starting to vlog, I'm finding it quite difficult balancing this and studying, but I think I'm getting better :) Hopefully I'll be able to upload every month xx

I really like your attitude... like you, I struggled with my mental and physical health during my med school. I'm fine now, but I know I can be treated, not cured... I accepted that, finally. And now I can see the ending of this veeeeeeeeery long journey, ready to become an intern. Don't stop to make videos, spread the awareness and the hope! Wish you the best

오늘 구독하고 첫번째 영상을 보고나서 2번째 영상을 보는 60이 넘은 학부모인데여, 저도 제 아이가 올해 약대를 졸업하고 지금도 7월 로스쿨 입학시험을 친다고 공부를 하고 잇지요. 제 생각엔 횽이 님은 이미 대한민국 학생들 사이에서도 탑클래스인거 같은데 , 너무 조급해 하지마여, 정말 잘하신 결정이라는 생각이 듭니다. 이제 조금 생각도 하고여 재충전하시고 좀 천천히 하는것도 자신의 건강을 위해 괜찮을거라는 생각이 드네여. 화이팅! 제가 괜히 이곳에 끼어든것이 아닌가 싶네여. 미안해여

@@hyongie 의사라는 직업은 정말 색다르고 중요한 직업인데여, 직업이라기보다는 정말 소중한 생명을 다루는 분이잖아여. 빨리 나아가는것도 중요하지만 그것보다 하나하나 차곡차곡 실력을 튼튼하게 쌓아 나가는것이 중요하다고 봐요. 그리고 환자와 말할때 진정성이 담긴 말이나 훌륭한 인격소양 등도 중요하고요. 제가 그동안 만나 본 의사분들 중에 훌륭한 의사라고 생각하는 기준은 요, 실력도 중요하지만 그것보다 말 한마디라도 좀더 따스하게 해주시고 대해 주신분이 더 감명이나 감동을 준거 같애여. 환자나 가족분들은 많은걸 요구하는것은 아니거든요. 오늘 바로 답장 주셔서 정말 기쁘고 감사해요. 힘 내세요.
Does passing med school exam in snu is so difficult? And do foreign students of snu can get job in korea after graduation
First, the exams are difficult, but I think they're similar nationwide or even worldwide- I've never heard of anyone who found med school a breeze :(
Second, there aren't any rules against foreign SNU students getting jobs, and I'd actually say SNU is trying to get more "global" with time. However, getting into SNUMED and passing each year would be the problem....It's not gonna be easy (near impossible I'd say) for a non-fluent foreigner to graduate SNUMED :(

Hi, there aren't any foreigners in SNUMED, and there is no separate entrance exam!
In snu college of medicine are there any foreigner students?
Um,, kinda yes and no, because there are "foreigners" who theoretically "aren't Korean" but they are all from Korean households and have just gained overseas citizenship. They're all fully fluent in Korean and familiar with the culture and education system. If you're wondering if there are complete non-Korean internationals, then the answer would be no, not yet :(

Yes, it is possible! There is a long list of things you need to prepare on the SNU admissions website! I think if you understand the Korean version of the application explanation and fit the requirements, then go for it!
(However, I' must warn you now, it's going to be quite a challenge...T_T Wish you good luck for uni admissions and hope all goes well!)
I want to know if medicine can be done in Korean only in SNU University or do they teach a mixture of both English and Korean?

Hi! College of Medicine in Korea consists of 2 years premed and 4 years med school! Unlike America, premed is part of our medical course, and we learn basic science, maths, arts and culture, etc.! So medicine as a whole is an undergrad course!

are there any international student doing MD in SNU medical college?
How much %age is required to pursue admission in MD in SNU.
Hi, there are between 1-3 Korean international students in each year, but no foreign(?) international students if you know what I mean.. the percentage is unknown, as there are no known standards for internationals (nor are there a set number of internationals admitted every year- SNUMED just picks the students they want every year, so the numbers vary from year to year) I would say if you have a chance of getting into IVYs, you have a chance of getting into SNUMED. That’s what you should aim for.
