Seems like a good idea to just take care of the entire engine bay once you're at it since it's already out, clean it, put in some heat wrap (maybe some gold heat wrap), just take the chance to actually do upgrades and fixes and replacements of out of date stuff. Get that bay all nice for the K24's new home.

I have to disagree that they are no good at all. Build them right and they will last. Just don't push them too hard with stock sleeves. If you want to make really big power then build a B series or K series.
