I started playing this game for Arjuna and Arjuna alone, since I am Hindu, and I bought an account with him. I rolled NP2 Karna in a single multi on Chaldea Boys, and, now that I got NP2 Gorgon on her recent rate up, I can free pick my Lord God Rāma on the upcoming 4* ticket. I’m so happy for all of their animation upgrades and I’m really looking forward to LB4. Also, gonna try and get Mother Pārvatī this October.

I especially like how all of his animations (sans his NP) see him _actually use his bow!_ And in cool and creative ways, too. I think it's safe to say Arjuna has become the chad of the Archer class as a whole.
The problem is he still is lacking hell emiya can out damage him thanks to projection and hawkeye. His animations are dope tho hope emiya could get another update

The gap is so big that is not even funny, he doesn't even have a niche to explore so to make himself usefull in a given situation... My Arjuna is grailed to 100, cause i actually like using him, but in a gameplay perspective, the only thing he has is an irrelevent hp recovery gimmic that forces an absurd cooldown uptime on the only good skill he has. Mana burst is good too but lost on Arjuna card layout. Long story short, Arjuna isn't bad per se, he's just worse than everyone else 😅😅😅😅😅

Believe it or not it’s because he’s just that good. According to the mythical epic he hail’s from Arjuna is (arguably) the greatest archer that would ever live. Plus his high clairvoyance rank allows him to know what his opponent will do before they even know, at least to a degree. To the point that some might mistake his arrows as heat seeking missiles.
Arjuna’s update is easily my favorite out of the 3. Which I’m happy for. Despite not knowing anything about him I’ve always love his aesthetic. I don’t think I like him enough to go out of my way to roll for him but I’d be happy if he ever spooked me.
I'd like to point out Arjuna is smacking around Lancers in this video. (While being debuffed by the stage gimmick) Side note. Arjuna and Lu Bu are the two Servants that I've grown on me the most since playing FGO. I used to really dislike both of them. But now I think they're pretty cool :)

@@HonakoGreen Arjuna is a good unit, but he's in a class and rarity level that is filled with absolute monsters. 5 of the AoE ones (all of them) have better batteries than he does with a sane cooldown, most of them can buster brave chain except Jeanne summer, and they all have huge damage boosts they can apply to themselves. Out of the options of Gilgamesh, Tesla, Ishtar, Napoleon, and Jeanne I'd say he comes in 6th.
Oh God, he's so beautiful, it actually hurts! I feel like they didn't quite do his kit and hitcounts justice the first time around, but if you really admire a character, even tier lists and game design won't stop you!
I like this a lot! A random side note: I want the Red Baron as a rider servant, I'm picturing him riding in for a strafing run in his plane as his Noble Phantasm.

@@K21-p3m Every character can have up to three SQs. One for the NP and two for 2/3 skills. Arjuna already had a strengthening for his 1st skill and his NP. He can defo use a cooldown shortening for his 2nd skill.
This new animation looks amazing, it enhances the feeling that Arjuna is ellegant and precise rather than violent. I'm super happy since i own all 3 of them 😁 still i felt that they could have taken this chance and boost his quick card to 3 or 4 hits, but i still think he's good, despite what many people think. A second skill cooldown reduction and star increase would be great. Heres to hoping 😁 excellent vídeo by the way 👍👍👍👍

His problem resides on the lack of especialization, all his skills are good but every one of them seems unfitting to his card lay-out. Only Hero of the Endowed pushes his gameplan to high levels, but that massive cd slows Arjuna down too much when compared with the competition. Anyway his performance has been great for me, and between all archers he is my favourite alongside Gil 👍👍👍

Rama is good, only needs an extra oomph to become great 😁 Karna is great already, i think a rank up to his first skill adding crit star absortion would push him to amazing levels. O think the one that needs an upgrade the most is Arjuna, as he's the one having the most fierce and fenomenal competition in his role 👍
Hopefully they give him a big strengthening for his second skill soon. They could lean in the survival direction like his first skill strengthening and that’d be a new niche for a 5* archer

@@HonakoGreen true to an extent but his 2nd skill has such a long cool down, the only good thing about it is the 5 turn heal. its weak on all other fronts the battery is a pain with it being 25% (yeah kscope farming but about it, 10 turn 25% battery is nothing great) and 8 stars for 5 turns is nothing to write home about either. When compared to his competition of other SSR archers that heal doesn't do much for him. Despite his high attack stat his deck hurts him. He can't produce stars decently even with Clairvoyance and he has no damage steroids outside of a 1 turn mana burst. he needs that skill to get a buff with a steroid, either crit damage or an attack buff. it also needs a reduced cool down. Even with the command codes it doesn't fix his issues of being one of the weakest SSRs

Honako, I've been dying to ask now that Arjuna properly got an animation update, how do you use him in your teams, how would you run him in CE's? Can he really be a damage dealing monster or due to the nature of his kit, he's a semi-support/farmer? I want to give this man a chance

Starting NP + ATK or Starting NP + Buster/NP generally. He is not really a support. he is more of a AoE DPS that can survive normal card damage on his own. With much baby sitting. he is great with David because David can let him survive NPs and they are both Archers. He is honestly really good for AoE fights.

He spooked me during Melti banner and I've always kind of sort of liked his thematic but his personality ruins it for me. Maybe if his gameplay wasn't so boring and bland to me or if he was a bit stronger I'd use him. Happy Arjuna fans got lots of service doe

I believe Jack is one of the few 5 stars that are in need of new animations.
Jalter and Gilgamesh need model updates really badly. Their attacks are decent, but oh baby do they have some shitty character models.
Jack is almost certainly going to be held off until the rerun of the Apocrypha event.
Vlad's head also looks ungainly on him. And he looks like he's wearing a dress rather than a coat as well.

all he needs is a solid 2nd skill buff and he'd be set. but those animations are really good, imo karna's are better but arjunas' is amazing.

Honako, I've been dying to ask now that Arjuna properly got an animation update, how do you use him in your teams, how would you run him in CE's? Can he really be a damage dealing monster or due to the nature of his kit, he's a semi-support/farmer? I want to give this man a chance

Starting NP + ATK or Starting NP + Buster/NP generally.
He is not really a support. he is more of a AoE DPS that can survive normal card damage on his own. With much baby sitting. he is great with David because David can let him survive NPs and they are both Archers. He is honestly really good for AoE fights.

Here's hoping we get this one early for some other event (maybe anniversary?). It just feels weird having such a massive gap in quality between the two...
He spooked me during Melti banner and I've always kind of sort of liked his thematic but his personality ruins it for me. Maybe if his gameplay wasn't so boring and bland to me or if he was a bit stronger I'd use him. Happy Arjuna fans got lots of service doe
