Warning, this comment contains spoilers. Fairies are my favourite faction for a reason. Since they were made from the old Devil faction, they're just very well put together and have a nice early to lategame transition. The main thing that sets them apart from Devils is that their lategame keeps on getting stronger and only one of their units (the first melee mook) becomes useless. Void is strong too but their powerspike falls off vs fairies once they can stay in their awakened state, their archers gain piercing shots which allows them to just mow down all their units + eggs very quickly so Void can't gain that critical mass they need. Although with that said, this was way way closer for fairies than I expected it to be.

That was the CRAZIEST comeback I have even seen. Green is just that good
It's annoying though that Fairy only won because the shield wiped out the critical mass that Void needs to win. Without that, they were sitting ducks.

The outcome makes sense. The Fairies were stated to be meant to counter The Void.
