I learned a few years ago people want to give two people and if you refuse somebody's gift it's like stealing a blessing from them. Similarly if you ask someone for something it gives them an opportunity to give so they feel blessed, it's a blessing to them then they are happier than ever that they have the ability to give and then God will give them more to give and you get blessed as well so everybody wins. So you can look at it as if when you ask someone it's actually giving them a blessing also. Just goes to show God works in mysterious ways mysterious ways although it may look backwards to us it works perfectly for God's glory our Glory I'm back and forth
ME TOO. I started one to get help with fixing my car, and I can't find anywhere or anyone to help post that isn't a scam. It was so hard to make the decision to put myself out there in the first place and then get this crap
I feel this way as well but there's literally nothing else I can do. I feel like I'm asking for help and there are people out there worse off than us. But without a car I've had to cancel getting a tumor cut from my stomach. I have a hard time getting my med's my sons mothers and husband's too. Our little towns cvs doesn't except our insurance. So we have to drive 30 to 40 minutes to even do that. So it's even humiliating asking for a ride when I've always been the one getting asked to help others. I've always tried to if I could. Now I know how it feels. I'm the only one with a license in our household. My son can't drive he has mysterious siezers for the last two years. We still don't know what's wrong with him. It's very stressful heart breaking and humiliating. But you suck it up for people you love that love you . I hope you get better hun. You'll be in my prayers dear
My wife is more spiritually stronger than I am and I also work in a prison. I am looking forward to starting a go fund me to help me raise money so we can start our ministry and nonprofit. I see a real need to bring Hope to the hopeless. I work with the worst of the worst and I see the good men behind their eyes. And only the Lord can bring them out . and one night while working I felt the Holy Spirit come upon me and opened up the floodgates of starting a mobile ministry of hope faith and love the Lord and many other programs that the Lord is placed on my heart. I know I am not worthy I only wish to be the hands and feet of the Lord and bring that to others. And this is coming from someone who has had a very dark past. And if the Lord can change me, I pray that he can help me to help her change others
That may be the most complicated explanation of the difference in sympathy and empathy. Sympathy is at its simplest… “ I understand “ where empathy is …” I’ve had that happen to me”

I feel if the family and friends were going to help someone in need of starting a GoFundMe campaign, there may not be a need to start a campaign. Because most of the times the family and friends knew help was needed and did not give it prior to the campaign. And this could cause distance between the campaigner and family, friends, and shy away from social media. However, this does not apply to every situation, mostly personal needs or tragedies.

This happened to me... However, I didn't use Gofundme because it doesn't support my country... I used Donorbox, ko-fi, Patreon... I have a very small pool of Facebook friends and most of them are ''friends''... Need I say that nothing happened besides a few hearts... I would really like to know what to do in that situation...

as a qualified therapist and student counsellor i can tell you ,. your definitions of Empathy and sympathy are quite wrong. The most basic definition difference: Empathy is to see the issue or life through the eyes of the other person. Sympathy is to see the others issues or pain from your own perspective. one is introspective the other is not. You can have feelings and feel what the other person feels or anticipate this, wether its empathiy or sympathy,.

I absolutely was with you when you were explaining EMPATHY that it is heart based. It is almost like putting yourself in that person's shoes. But when you said " It Visibly makes you feel " and you said it a few times, I thought that's a terrible way to describe it bcuz empathy is emotional & has absolutely NOTHING to do with your vision. Lol. Please correct & reword that.
