I give you 800 Nah, ill just take it home(translation:ill just take it to another pawn shop that doesent have a sports memorabilia nerd and sell it for 50k)
Gee Willickers this is why the boys work over their customers for maximum profit. So many dirtbag scammers selling them stolen goods and fakes. Honest sellers have to pay the price for douche knuckles.
Seller: ''I have the US missile launch codes'' Rick: ''50 bucks, I can't go any higher, there's just no money to be made'' Seller: ''But it could destroy the whole world'' Rick: ''Well I'd have to put it up in the shop and wait a couple of months so i'd be losing money if I went any higher''
Missile codes are free and everyone who wants to know them already does. 000000. There you go, nuke the world buddy, (good luck getting past all the security though.)
@Rob The Closer If the guy knew it wasn't real, he would have gladly taken the $4000.00 offer Corey gave him as an option to buy it right then without an expert coming. The guy decided to wait on the expert to get a higher estimate on the ring. If he actually knew that the ring wasn't real, he would have immediately accepted the up front offer of 4 grand. It would make no sense to wait on an appraiser if you know that it is not an actual staff ring.
@@VagueMemory what gets me is the shop has bought enough rings to know the Josten's mark should have been on the ring. Why didn't Corey know or notice that before calling an expert?
That's a nice ring. A player can comfortably wear that ring and people would know that's a significant championship ring. The rings from the past 15 years are gigantic. There more works of art than a traditional championship ring.
I felt disrespected as a Braves fan. My team played in 5 out 9 World Series in the decade. We won in 1995. We're definitely not the Buffalo Bills in any way. The Braves are still a respectable top team in the MLB and HAVE been for MOST of the past 30 seasons...
Watch his reaction as he shakes the guys hand at 4:12 😂. The man's hand shake behind the counter looks respectable till he pulls it away. It's almost like yeahhh but noo 🤣.
That's what you get for not doing research on what you actually have and walking blindly into a pawn shop. Also, there's two big bolts under the inside of the face. Its obviously not a final production ring.
“They bring some bozo off the street, I don’t know where he came from. All of a sudden he comes through the door and he’s Mr. expert on baseball.” Cmon dude
“I’ve learned my lesson, I’m not bringing anymore rings to this shop” yeah a butthurt customer who got a free appraisal and hoped he would scam the shop out of 13 grand. Keep your chump salesman sample pal lmao!
This guy should have his own top 10....... He questions everything about his potential sales, the price the pawn shop offers, the expert analysis, his appraisal, literally everything.
Demo or not, I'd still keep it. Braves are my team! I was lucky enough to go to a game a couple years ago where they honored the '95 WS team (which all players were in attendance) and the giveaway at the gate was a replica of the WS ring. And it wasn't some cheap plastic thing either, but a real wearable metal ring
@@BSmith8181 Yeah this guy just tried to pawn it..Lmao Did you notice pawn stars didn't test the diamonds to make sure they're real ? Odd in my opinion.
Producers: He's going to ask for a buddy to come down..when he does, act like you're in a hurry. Ring Owner: 1:54 Producers: That's the best acting you can do?
I would love to watch one show where its on the air live and the producers forget to spoon feed Rick, Chum lee and Corey the information they act like they know... That would be hilarious... I actually like this customer... Said it like it is!
Joe Lien yeah this time it was pretty decent. You can buy replica rings for $100 on eBay so $800 is actually pretty good, and it wasn't even a players ring either.
This ring was sold at auction as a ''Beautiful 10 carat gold 1995 Atlanta Braves staff member World Series Championship ring'' for $8 294.00.....Be carefull when your buying stuff!!!
“I’ve learned my lesson I’m not bringing anymore rings into this shop” well 1. They don’t take fake/sample rings 2. You might wanna learn more history for whatever piece of memorabilia you have 😂😂👎🏻
No wonder the guy didn't want to wait for an expert.
It's ridiculous how the moron customer called him a "bozo off the street!" Stupid customers always think their shit is worth thousands! Fuck him!!!
jonathan bell you should took the four Grand and run

Didn't he say he was moving to Vietnam?
Yeah. Coz Vegas kicked him out of America coz he is a BOZO. 🤪🤪🤪
He also was the guy that had a near mint super bowl 1 program that didn’t sell it either
Literally attempts to sell two more rings later on
"I'll bring it to the bozo's shop next street for $400"
‘Why can’t I just take the money I’ve asked for and go’ doesn’t sound suspicious at all...
Right? That guy was shady as hell dude. I bet he knew it was a fake as well
Exactly
Hahaha, I'm like wtf? Dudes an idiot, looked so sketchy.
Who wants to wait around in a pawn shop for an hr maybe he had things to do.

Lol if you think this show is real
He learned his lesson haha
I knew it wasn’t real once the guy was concerned about the expert coming in lol.
It's real, in a way. It's just not the actual championship ring.
Fritz Asuro it’s fake jewelry.
It's definitely a real ring, the issue is that it's a sample ring and doesn't directly belong to a specific player...
