I'd like to be able to send my bird out with an "alliance request form". This would allow me to find possible alliances without the risk of getting close.
I did 2 of these with a friend recently, she's new to the game, the 1st voyage glitched and the ship despawned, but we completed the 2nd voyage. She went from 0 to 25 in 1½ LS. 👍 Also, I like to do 1 Commodity delivery and a Lost Shipment at a time, I get on average about 85k. Goodness I keep editing and added more to say 🤣 One more thing, if you have a Captain ship, purchase the Fruit Provisions from the Shipwrights, your doing this to get Pineapples. To prevent you from going topside for air, talk at least 2 Pineapples, you at least shouldn't drown before you get get all of the loot
Hey im assuming you wanted to show all the steps for the video but something to point out doing lost shipment voyages is you only need to follow the clues till you get to the captains key. This saves you time if you're doing the voyages back to back as the clues don't give a whole lot of treasure so you wind up saving quite a bit of time
Yeah I should have mentioned this in the video that you dont need to follow all the extra clues. You are 100% right though wanted to show the whole voyage in its entirety :)
you dont really need to stop for air as long as you got good food like a pineapple or two or even a few mangos on you, could even grab more below deck of the wreck if it spawns good meat or something. gives you a lot more time to get the loot out in a more efficient time to minimize the chances of players rolling up on you.

I’ve been playing this when I can for about a month and a half now, in between class work and such. Gotta say, really liking it. I popped in every year or so just to check and see what’s been added, and it’s cool I can have fun solo cause I like multiplayer games, but sometimes I play on hours none of my friends are up or up to play. Also, after a while of just getting money, I realized I’m not really concerned with getting the most amount of money, I’m more concerned with doing it in different ways. Sure, I could stack world events. I don’t really need to though, when I can just do what sounds fun. “Why’d you click on this video then?” I just want to see what others do playing a game we both enjoy.
One quick way to grind to level 25 on each of the trading companies is to do Sea Forts. They are easy to solo and get you to lvl 25 pretty quickly. Another tip is that you can use the Sovereign elevator amd harpoons even if you dont own a ship; you just cant sell to them.
Yeah great idea! Although you dont really need it the lost shipment voyage always gives ya grade 5. But this is a great point if you doing other voyages too :)
I do like this voyage. The last 3 I did I was super unlucky though. Half was sugar 1/4th tea and the rest red maybe 1 black crate. Still good money but sometimes rng screws you sadly.

I bought the ashen cheat of legend voyage in bulk from the shipwright. Then I just kept resetting it until I got cargo for Marrow Peek outpost. Then after doing that a lot I went over to Reapers hideout and sold it all for about 100K after like 30 minutes!
You're not always grade 5 when you finish these voyages, you sometimes strand at 4,5 unless you take a cannonball, fruit & wood crate. But this is a method i usually do aswell when i don't have alot of time to play. Also what i do is i buy all the commodity crates (at the merchant on the 2nd page of where you buy a storage crare etc) aswell for a lil bit of extra profit when you sell them after doing this, its not alot but its still something extra. And since for the lost shipment voyage it usually sends you from outpost to outpost, this is a win-win and you can sell fairly quickly 😄 i usually finish my voyage and selling after 30-40minutes depending on the voyage/location and i usually make in between of 45k - 70k in that time depending on the rng
@@RealCardmaster I've done this voyage like 20 times this week and i had it happen to me 5 times, i just bought the supply crates to get me to grade 5 tho :p and yes i got all the clues & loot along the way. if you get the key and skip to the shipwreck it would be normal you wouldn't hit grade 5 but even then sometimes you don't hit 5 man :p
Go to the coordinates and look for birds. it will be somewhere unless an island is at your coordinates then it might be on the island. hope that helps :)
another one is that you can buy merch supps and it'll get you to lvl 1 and buy commodities for extra money no need for trade routes tho just buy the surplus from an outpost and it'll sell for a bit more for sure

On my 2nd day playing this game, I met up with a random player. In one, singular voyage we did a Sunken Ship + Vault (Gold Key) and we made out with 170,000 gold. It should go without saying, ever since then the game has been lackluster lol.
As soon as you get the key you can drive to the finish line looking for crows i believe. That being said it's only worth it in scenarios like this, because you get a commendation if you don't pick up any hint.
I never got the key, got like 4 crates and a gunpowder from birds and like 4 more crates from the ship. Reached tier 2 and earned around 20k but lost 20 minutes of my time
When you are standing above the area you want to dash toward ( or example: standing on a rock at the edge of beach along the water). While standing on the edge, hold your attack button and you will charge up a dash attack, keep holding attack and it will release on its own after a few seconds. If you don’t touch the ground when dashing into the water, your character will move through the water quickly. While on land fighting skeletons, it will usually destroy anything in its path. If you miss your target, you will suffer a penalty that doesn’t allow you to a move for a few seconds after dashing. Hope this helps.
Well at the end if you are going to do another voyage, lowering the flag when you end the first will give you an extra $5000 gold. Since each voyage gets you grade 5, lowering the flag after each voyage you do just adds another $5000 gold to the pocket. Hope that makes sense
A little strat. Picking up the kegs will give rep you too. I personally don't put them on the ship. But if you had to, then get them right back off lol... great video btw...

I recently tried a MA lost shipment voyage, and it told me to beeline my way to the destiantion, which was straight west and I really did not have any birds around there. couldn't really finish the voyage. I know the shipwrecks despawn sometimes but I wasn't even able to find the manifest anywhere
It will bug out like that rarely. I had that happen to me at the ass end of a voyage who's destination was shipwreck Bay and had a clue RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT to beeline for the destination and the only other birds were barrels to the north west I rage canceled it, got krakened, popped another shipment voyage down, got random skeleton shipped twice, had a hacker drop a few kegs on me, then i alt f4'd and played shadow of war instead
does selling to the Sovereigns have any downsides, or is it purely a good thing to do? also, i think i may have accidentally stolen quite of few of these 😬 i saw some ships in the water, figured they were regular shipwrecks, and took the loot.
Horrible experience got chased for 1 hour by a galleon before just making it to the shipwreck when i finally sunk them i got to the boat unlocked the door up top went below to grab the manifest floated it up, went up for air, and when i looked back down it was gone, vanished the whole shipwreck. What a waste of time on account of this shoddy spawn system.
Im really sorry that crap happened to you. Most times i do it and its peaceful but i guess it is sea of thieves and threats is always looming. As for the shipwreck despawning, ive never actually had that happen to me. Really apologize if you thought my advice was misleading

The despawning thing is really a somewhat common issue with multiple items and locations in this game, just assume being away so long the game was just ready to despawn it when I got there. Still frustrating. But, atleast no one gets the treasure if not me. Haha. Just a wild adventure you had sent me on sir.
I'm new to SOT and I like to solo sloop cause of my social anxiety with strangers and I'm not looking for any pvp atm lol this could prove very useful. just hope no trolls come and ruin my time. there should be a server with safety and agreeing before pvp.
One of the beautiful things about Sea of Thieves is the constant threat that you could be attacked at any moment. However, I totally understand some people just wanna grind in peace. What I will say man, is a lot of the sweats atm are in the new PVP mode so its a perfect time to gold grind. Wish you all the best on the seas :)

I just tried one of these and it was absolute garbage. Not sure if they changed but uhh yea this was bad. One of the worst quests I've come across in my years of gaming. Found the first group of birds. No key, no loot. Nothing. Second group of birds? Sunken ship with no manifest, and a mermaid gem for loot. Waste of time.
I am so annoyed, I did this method got right to the outpost and got sunk by a ghost ship in just a few shots how fair is that sea of thieves, all my time out the window because of a bot how absolutely annoying
As baginner i hate this mission solo. Do not reccomend them. Weather is changing and sometimes it is veeery hard to find the checkpoint. Wasted night for this- never again!
Yeah it always possible to get chased and hunted. But being a merchant is normally that attractive to sweaty players. I still think having the emissary up.is worth the risk
Top three fastest ways to make money in sea of thieves 3. Commodity runs netting around 200k per hour 2. Ashen vault stacking netting around 300k per hour 1. The fastest way to make money to no one’s surprise is fotd netting 730k per hour
when solo playing I usually combine commodity runs with the shipment voyages as I tend to go around all the outposts too quick for them to be refreshed to sell again
that seaofconcepts video is bs. fotd you can complete about 1 and maybe a half per hour depending on how many people attack you. the risk is very high for fotd if you are not good and this video says as a solo crew. ashen vaults is not the second best and it doesnt make 300000 per hour that is also bs 1 vault makes about 40k and if you are really fast and lucky you can only complete 2 per hour. commodity runs only make about 100k per hour if you have a grade 5 flag from lost shipments and get lucky and dont have to sail across the map to the next outpost. fastest and least risky method is the one in this video plus commodities after, probably about 100-150k per hour.
I'm so glad you got what the idea of the video was Jack. It wasn't just about what could get you the most gold but instead finding a trade-off between making good gold whilst having a relatively low risk of losing your loot. There are definitely better ways of making gold with higher risk but Merchant Lost Shipment Voyages is a vibe and fairly low risk with a reasonably good return on your time investment
Small Tip If you find the Key Just Go to the end of the Route and loot the shipreck you dont need all the clues for it to Spawn
But there is some loot at the location of the clues too

Sometimes I have noticed that the ship is found way off course because of some wild goosechase and can be found way easier if you follow the clues :)

Before you set sail from the outpost, make sure you buy a full set of commodities to increase profits

Wait really? How often would you cargo for morrows peak? And would it be faster doing it at a normal outpost and use captaincy voyages to do it?

The issue I run into when placing the key on the voyage table is you can accidentally cancel your voyage.

Whats the purpose of lowering and raising your flag? Also, at what point of the whole experience do you lower, then raise the flag?

doing stuff like this can be tough for me and if u can a few ppl u know that can be trusted to help it could help save time right

yeah, each spot gives some loot but if you just want to finish the voyage quickly all u need is the captain key

Horrible experience got chased for 1 hour by a galleon before just making it to the shipwreck when i finally sunk them i got to the boat unlocked the door up top went below to grab the manifest floated it up, went up for air, and when i looked back down it was gone, vanished the whole shipwreck. What a waste of time on account of this shoddy spawn system.
Im really sorry that crap happened to you. Most times i do it and its peaceful but i guess it is sea of thieves and threats is always looming. As for the shipwreck despawning, ive never actually had that happen to me. Really apologize if you thought my advice was misleading
@@RealCardmaster Eh, thought about changing the wording more meant, it in a poke in fun at you. The despawning thing is really a somewhat common issue with multiple items and locations in this game, just assume being away so long the game was just ready to despawn it when I got there. Still frustrating. But, atleast no one gets the treasure if not me. Haha. Just a wild adventure you had sent me on sir.
I'm new to SOT and I like to solo sloop cause of my social anxiety with strangers and I'm not looking for any pvp atm lol this could prove very useful. just hope no trolls come and ruin my time. there should be a server with safety and agreeing before pvp.
One of the beautiful things about Sea of Thieves is the constant threat that you could be attacked at any moment. However, I totally understand some people just wanna grind in peace. What I will say man, is a lot of the sweats atm are in the new PVP mode so its a perfect time to gold grind. Wish you all the best on the seas :)
@@RealCardmaster agreed. Awesome!!! I had 2 chase me yesterday but I just out maneuvered them and got away both times lol. This gallion was at reapers hideout and refused to let me dock with him to turn in my skulls so I had to sail in circles till he gave up and left. Embarrassing for them cause I was 1 person lol! I won in the end but it was a long waiting game lmao.

I just tried one of these and it was absolute garbage. Not sure if they changed but uhh yea this was bad. One of the worst quests I've come across in my years of gaming.
Found the first group of birds. No key, no loot. Nothing. Second group of birds? Sunken ship with no manifest, and a mermaid gem for loot. Waste of time.

I am so annoyed, I did this method got right to the outpost and got sunk by a ghost ship in just a few shots how fair is that sea of thieves, all my time out the window because of a bot how absolutely annoying
As baginner i hate this mission solo. Do not reccomend them. Weather is changing and sometimes it is veeery hard to find the checkpoint. Wasted night for this- never again!
Athen voyage is better gives u around 120k with one voyage

You say minimal pvp but you can be hunted while working as an emissary no? Imagine losing all that loot… it sucks to play SoT solo…
Yeah it always possible to get chased and hunted. But being a merchant is normally that attractive to sweaty players. I still think having the emissary up.is worth the risk

Top three fastest ways to make money in sea of thieves
3. Commodity runs netting around 200k per hour
2. Ashen vault stacking netting around 300k per hour
1. The fastest way to make money to no one’s surprise is fotd netting 730k per hour
when solo playing I usually combine commodity runs with the shipment voyages as I tend to go around all the outposts too quick for them to be refreshed to sell again
that seaofconcepts video is bs. fotd you can complete about 1 and maybe a half per hour depending on how many people attack you. the risk is very high for fotd if you are not good and this video says as a solo crew. ashen vaults is not the second best and it doesnt make 300000 per hour that is also bs 1 vault makes about 40k and if you are really fast and lucky you can only complete 2 per hour. commodity runs only make about 100k per hour if you have a grade 5 flag from lost shipments and get lucky and dont have to sail across the map to the next outpost. fastest and least risky method is the one in this video plus commodities after, probably about 100-150k per hour.
I'm so glad you got what the idea of the video was Jack. It wasn't just about what could get you the most gold but instead finding a trade-off between making good gold whilst having a relatively low risk of losing your loot. There are definitely better ways of making gold with higher risk but Merchant Lost Shipment Voyages is a vibe and fairly low risk with a reasonably good return on your time investment
