This channel is true hidden gem of youtube. Beautiful places, very interesting storries. Because of you guys, i love Cote d'Azur even more :) Cheers from Poland!
I'm with you. Why does this channel have only 11k subscribers, when cooking channels or stupid 'influencers' get hundreds of thousands or millions? I stumbled over them the day the Ami arrived at this parking spot 1,5 years ago and watched every new video from them since then and was never disappointed 👍
Hi to you both from the south of England. I came across you channel whilst searching for videos on the Citroen ami that I am looking to buy when they are released in the Uk. I so much enjoy you tours with fantastic scenery and history as I now watch them all in series. Keep up the great work and can’t wait for the next instalments and travels with your Elton
Hi there, it’s Dena. Absolutely fantastic! I can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching. You are funny, informative and make me long to return. Thanks so much!
Love this channel, and the places you are visiting, the animated creche are great. We do think the Jesus looked a bit like Boris Johnson though, he was particularly large in comparison to the Mary and Joseph 😂😂 love it ❤️
Great fun again! You are both doing a great job, we've had a right good chuckle tonight! Lovely, interesting content and great presentation. Better than anything on UK TV on a Sunday evening! Many thanks.
What distance can you do on a charge in such hilly terrain ? What a beautiful place gorbio is. Love the Nativity scenes , wish we had animated ones here
@@MeandMonAmi cool , here in Oban theirs a major shortage of working charge points. Last summer was mayhem. What's it like on the Riviera. How much is it per kWh on average ?
For a moment there I feared the sands of time (and charge) might run out on little Elton, but heroically he stormed the hill, and with charge to spare. Tip top work all round..!
The sharp turns on the road to Gorbio are terrifying! I breathed a big sigh of relief when you spotted the "Charging Station"!! Lunch looked yummy! I had fun Googling Gorbio before I watched the video. Love the WC story!! Thank you for this marvelous trip!!!!! Love from Vermont
Thank you for visiting Gorbio! It's our second favorite hilltop town after Sainte-Agnes. You have brought back wonderful memories. One of these days we hope to be back. Have a great week, Tim and Mr. Boo. See you next Sunday night! Bye for now from New York. :-)
I'm hooked! Your MonAmi travel vlogs are stunning, humorous and very entertaining.. You, Mr Boo and Elton make a great team.... Love travelling the south of France with you guys! ❤😂🚙
My favourite video so far. Definitely will go there one day (we have a Jaguar IPace at the moment, so hope it will fit in the parking spaces). “Looks like Matthew Kelly”, the LogMan of Alcatraz, Mr Boo with his finger in the hole ….. 😂
Oh my word. Those twisty narrow roads with sheer drops are like a Greek island. But boy was it worth it. The village is totally enchanting- even with a crazed log man !
One day! One day the log man will watch your videos and sue you for slander 😉🤣🤣🤣 Another beautiful one. i loved the creche with the bicycle chain drive...
I absolutely love your travels through the French riviera. That Citroën Ami is so damn cute too. Hopefully, we will have it here in Fabulous Las Vegas. Especially for the price, we would buy that to zip around to nearby local places.
Love your channel. Only came across it last week. Spent this weekend binge watching all your previous posts. Stuck in Hong Kong due to ridiculous pandemic measures. Hope I get the chance to spend some time exploring the French Riviera guided by your recommendations in the future!
Loved your video. We love Gorbio. Met the mayor when we were there. Looks like he has a new career Coming back this June. We must meet you guys. So fun.
Such a great little hilltop town with outstanding views, there is actually a bus from Menton that goes up there... but not nearly as much fun as driving Elton with Mr. Boo!
Great content again. Always makes me smile and miss the cote d'azur. The inter action between you both is priceless and as much as it was a mistake it was good to learn about that tunnel.
Came to watch the Ami at work, stayed for the stunning views and child like wonder of the animated creches. Fantastic stuff thank u both for another mini tour of your world.
Love to do that climb on my recumbent e-trike. Even better would be the run down! What a destination - so many things to show us and talk about. Thanks for taking us up there.
Guys, as always a fantastic video with beautiful images of the area. Changing music makes it even more pleasant to watch, despite the fact that Pandemonium is a beautiful song. Going downhill is a heavy load on the brakes for a car with a petrol engine where you can brake on the engine. How's that with a Citroen Ami? Have a nice and surprising week and see you next time.
Thanks Alex. We are attempting to ration Pandemonium but…; the Ami can brake a little on the engine and that way is meant to regenerate power a little (I think). But you are right my e bike brakes wear out round here quite quickly!

Lovely video as usual and love the touch of the personal you give to it. Love that you both are yourselves! also at 17.57 when you narrated an anecdote about your mum you reminded of Alan Bennett in 'A chip in the sugar'. Maybe it was your accent? Or not...forgive me I'm not English.

Lots of relatively inexpensive property, especially when comparing it to Ireland. Love the show, keep the facts coming Mr Boo. Joe.
What an adventure…. Always think poor Mr Boo gets kicked out of the AMI to shoot the B roll and wonder what if you can’t turn round to pick him up and he’s stuck on the side of the road somewhere 🚙
Ode to the Gorbio Logman It is not growing like a tree in bulk, makes Logman better be; or standing long an elm three hundred year, to fall a log at last, dry, bald, and sere; (With apologies to Ben Johnson)
For us the charging is part of the journey and we plan it around lunch/ coffee etc. But these are obviously 80km round trips. When we venture further afield it will be interesting to see what happens
@@MeandMonAmi lucky that your area seems not that cold or your range will drastically reduced. My Mini SE range can go down from 220 km to 175 km after i put on winter tires, then go down to 100 km if it gets real cold. I think that i will only go far with my EV and trust public chargers only after more gas companies are in the game and to have their stations more reliable and maintained. But they still need lots of space to make sure that it’s easy to charge the cars. I think that most realistic future of EV can only happen if 80-90% of parking spot have option to charge the cars. Otherwise, forget people taking EVs for road trips. I won’t take my Mini for road trips for sure.
The electric car era has created a new malady: range anxiety. My gasoline powered car has a very annoying fuel gauge. The fuel tank only holds 34 liters. At about 10 liters left, an annoying "time to refuel" light goes on. When the needle hits absolute bottom past the "E" sign, it still has 4 liters left. So I can drive quite far when the fuel gauge is showing E. I guess driving on that last 4 liters creates a type of range anxiety. That Pandemonium song is very catchy. I think I heard it on your videos first.
Yes though it’s been a while since that video Stuart and we suffer a lot less range anxiety than we did. As you say with your fuel gauge you kind of know how to read it eventually. Famous last words..
