We’re back and having so much fun catching up! We’ve been caring for family and never watch unless we can sit down and enjoy together. Looking forward to getting up to date!
I saw our first Airstream up close at the Salt Lake City dealership (while working at Hill AFB) and the journey began! Brad Driver (from Thirteen Adventures) worked there and did a great job!
The moment people get hooked on Airstreams is always interesting to me. Shanna's Grandfather showed her one, I didn't get into them until I was in deep with our first one- It was quite a project!
You guys like "pushing the envelope" 😯 Interesting walk through of many Airstream models. Hope you got some great ideas! Thanks for taking us along. - Michelle
Hi Michelle! Shanna does not usually like to push our fuel that far but it sometimes happens when there are no stations on rural routes. We learned the hard way in the vast expanse that is Texas to keep the extra gas cans topped up. She still gives me “the side eye” when I route us too close to empty for her comfort. 😂 ~Andrew
Awesome question…I’m doing a video on this but you can follow us and I can answer this for you. The one thing to know is do not use any product that dissolves the contents of your Black tank. Remember when you dump the BT first flush with the hose flush this needs to a avg of 20-30 minutes of flushing. The BT flush should be completely clear
@@SilverDogAdventures My black tank flush has never worked. Most likely it was not maintained or used by the previous owner and is clogged. I have tried to clean it and get it functioning several times without success. Also, our black tank flush is above out city water inlet for some reason. Gross. 🤢 ~Shanna
Well our latest video should answer what happened to us. We were actually camping at the Katy Airstream for 1 days. The mayor of Houston went on tv and said leave. The Mayor was talking about shortages and lack of safety. Well we left Houston after 1 night. Thank god because Houston is a mess.
We have great working manual awnings which we prefer to the electric ones for the simplicity. That said they need a thorough cleaning and lubrication right now. ~Andrew

Glad you are back, we know what you mean, we have a few channels we like to watch together too!

@@airstream_wheeler Glad you made it, thank you for showing the reality of rural travel! We will file that information. Good to remember. 🙂
We are at Katy Airstream or Holiday World for our adjustments 99.50 and our Black tank gaskets are toast. We have a while to wait
Hi! Thank you for watching. Educate me. Tell me more about your black tank gaskets. What should I be aware of? ~Andrew

My black tank flush has never worked so that process won’t work for us. Maybe I will get around to replacing it one day. ~Andrew
I’m sorry what is wrong with the Black Tank? Does it leak?

Stay safe out there. We like Canyon Lake campground in the Texas hill country when we are in that area. ~Andrew
How are your awnings working?

Our adjustment awnings have been diagnosed. The wire which pushes the awning upward is malfunctioning
