At the end of last show , Sam told Ted that his father is happy that Ted is his coach cause Sam dad is a great dad , Ted realize after that talk that maybe Jaime needs a better father figure so he let him come back Great reactions.
Frozen is about a 19 year old girl, her 21 year old sister and two men about that age so yes,it's about puberty and growing up. But more importantly it's about not trusting easily just anyone while not locking yourself up and hiding away from people... And about letting go of your parents' BS
Ah see that makes more sense... in my head I thought it was an obvious thing in the movie instead it being a more subtle thing lol. I fully thought the blonde girl would be talking about it openly throughout the movie😂
I love this moment for Jamie, as you said, it's the perfect way to show that he has actually changed. At first it's just Sam, then the other players of Nigerian descent (I assume) and then Jamie. And after that the whole team joins in. I really appreciated the detail that Jamie wasn't the first one to follow Sam's lead, that could've come across a bit white savior-ish, but then it's Jamie stepping up that convinces everyone to follow suit. Like Jamie says, "We're a team - got to wear the same kit." If it was only a few players, or just Sam, who had taped over the logo, it could've turned into a Kaepernick situation where Sam is vilified by the media for being ungrateful, but the whole team doing it made it a unified stand. LOVED it. (And that moment when Jamie stands up and says "Throw me the tape" gets me in the feels every time.)
It was a great scene! And I agree they did it very well and did well not to make it seem like you say "white saviour" especially as the players of Nigerian decent did it first and Jamie doing it spurs the rest on to follow
“Chuck E. Cheese” is a restaurant/arcade for kids that was really popular in the 80s and 90s. I think there are some still around; I took my kid to a nearby one a couple of times around 2005-ish. They had pizza and burgers, animatronic shows, a few small rides, and lots of arcade/carnival style games. It was a lot of fun when they were new, but I think they haven’t been kept up very well, and now most of them just seem kind of small, threadbare, and sad.
We have similar things in the UK with diffrent names (Charlie Chalks, Wacky Warehouse) as a kid they were really popular but now I'm an adult its almost forgotten about lol. I'm guessing it's because there's no ipads or tiktoc
The rift between Rebecca & Sassy Smurf (and her daughter) came when Rebecca married Rupert. She pulled a disappearing act on her friend and threw herself into her marriage. Hence the 6 years…
It's not even just that she threw herself into the marriage. Rupert alienated her, as mentally abusive partners tend to do. They talk about this "Make Rebecca Great Again".
It's like with Nate, there was always a lot ugly deep down and it's really coming out now that he has a little power. (The way he walks all over the new kit lad is no bueno (no good)). [Chuck E Cheese's is a pizza restaurant that's geared towards children, it's a popular place to have kid's birthday parties.]
I suppose when you are treat bad for a long time you keep a lot of the poison thrown at you and eventually have to let it out its like most bullies are bullies because of how there parents treat them kind of thing (not that it's an excuse for how he's acting).

Even at his worst, Jamie is a fun watch. Love to see him back on the team!
He's a great character!

Ah, see I got that confused I thought she ditched her while going through the divorce lol. Thanks for clearing that up😀
