The white hat is Kangol made popular by LL Cool J in the 80s/90s. However, that style I have never seen before.
I would have bought that hat, it was beautiful. The last owner probably put the feather in it that hat was jazzy.
That Nike sweater vest was totally vintage!! They are based in Beaverton, OR and used to put that on their tags. I think it was meant for golf. That’s why it seemed off-brand.

Morson Nelgan it’s probably hard to tell in the video because the clip was so short but if you look at 2:22 you can see that “Beaverton” is spelled incorrectly 😂 they spelled it “Beavevton”. So funny. This is extremely common for knock-offs and I also noticed the quality right away was very poor. If it was a real vintage Nike sweater vest I would but it in my cart soooo fast ❤️
I just realized how cheap my thrift store is- all of the jeans are like 50c to 1$ and all tops are like 25c

Omg those thrift store prices are so high! You can get something brand new for those prices. Thrift stores are getting so greedy, they get all those clothes donated to them. They should keep prices affordable for people in need.

Yeah I agree the prices are getting higher but it’s because people resell those items and mark the items for a higher price, than the price they originally payed. It’s really not that the thrift store is greedy but it just makes more sense to market it for a high price if people are just going to resell them.
But I agree they shouldn’t make the prices too high for the people who don’t have as much.
Yea! My parents always donate my old clothes to the thrift store for free and then they sell it for so high!

OMG that coat!! $35 is a good price I think, I've gotten one new from Target without the cool pattern and fur collar and it was $40.
The more thrift with me's I watch, the more Value Village seems exactly like Stuff Etc - shoutout anyone who shops there! - in my region of the US; they're similarly overpriced and pull out designer stuff, and the stores are really similarly organized, I forget Jenna isn't at a Stuff Etc sometimes :) Overpriced aside, they have GREAT stuff so it's my fav thrift store.

I did the same thing only backwards lol. I found some things at my thrift shops and then I came home and plugged into Pinterest To see how to put it all together. That works for me really well
Green is a beautiful color, I agree! Kangol used to make sport hats for men but that hat with the feather has a juicy price costing 25 Dollars. I loved the Guess jacket and Lee jeans and of course the pretty bucket hat!

fixing holes in knits is no biggie!! Learning to 'darn' holes is such a helpful skill in prolonging the life of your garments and honestly i think it looks sick :)
My style is totally different from yours but the jacket with the fur collar looks STUNNING on you !! Looks like something someone (you!) would wear at New York fashion week

You should've gotten the green fringed collar sweater in spite of the small hole. A little bit of distressed look on sweaters is on trend. I love that GORGEOUS crushed velvet coat with the faux fur collar. Great investment and color!!

fixing knit gaps is not that hard. just do a ladder sttich. Especially those small ones are easy to manage.
You can dry clean at home! There's a product called Dryel or something like that, or you can make your own sheets!
I bought a suit jacket from thrifting, and I sprayed and rubbed the armpits with oxyclean paste, tossed it in the dryer with a sheet, and it came out clean!

This is going to be a long on so i apologise. I found you a few months back as i bought a sewing machine from the charity shop and where we have been in lockdown here in the UK i needed something to keep my mind off things. Anyway stumbled on your vids and subscribed (silent subscriber until now)
