I’m glad to see someone enjoying this movie for what it is, a good popcorn flick. He even said in the interviews that some of it was meant to make you laugh. I thought his daughter was a great artist too. Only disappointment was we could have used more Kid Cudi.
P.S. Knock at the Cabin give the book a read or get an easy cheat through Wiki or a student quick read website.

Exaggerated humor. I like to think of it as a movie that does “stupid” things, bad dialogue, character choices, etc, that are played off for comedy.
