HInge and re-hinge really work. Often when I lost the form after a few holes on the course, most likely due to unconsciously adding forces to "speed up" and "to help", if I slow down and do a few slow hinge and re-hinge, I recovered to the good forms. Mny of your videos make more senses than many other video which tell you to do analytic complex control of movements that happened in mili-seconds. They never consistently work. Hinge and re-hinge applies to everything in golfing!
Paul, I have followed you from time to time and really find your tips very helpful. My problem is when I have a bad round or hit a few bad shots I start looking for a different solution. As you can guess this only makes it worse. I have recently deleted all the other swing videos from other instructors and watching your tips exclusively. I'm 74 years of age and about a 12-14 handicap, but know I can do much better. Thanks for what you do! My goal is get to single digit handicap this year.
Glad you're will me and me alone. Anyone can do this. Need to see it in its most simple form. Your wrists hinges and rehinge. Your body coils and uncoils. Good grip and set up and you are good to go. Too many people try too many things. Typically they do it for a few balls and if they don't see amazing results they quit. Also, everyone wants distance so they are just hammering it as hard as they can which locks everything up and gets them hitting it everywhere. Focus on what I said. Swing no more than 70% and start hitting fairways and greens. Once you do that you have a decent swing with confidence. Confidence breeds distance so you will hit it longer without even trying.
Paul, great tip, I have practiced hinge and rehinge. It works, I am hitting my irons more consistently. Additionally, I hit my drives between 230 and 260 yards, my best was 284. Today, I hit my driver beautifully, effortlessly down the middle of the fairway 311 yards, my longest drive ever. Thank you for your easy common sense tips. I love them!
Good stuff. This is what I want to hear. You put in the work. Understood it and you're getting used to it. Now you are seeing the results why would you ever want to swing any other way. Good job!
If you are loose it would release on its own. If you are tight you need to work on hinging and rehinging until it's loose. Watch: th-cam.com/video/jEWe9Gaoqxo/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/MTLQWJLRAU0/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/gMVs6SZNBIQ/w-d-xo.html
Really good tip. The worst golf instruction is keeping the head down over the ball and centered in the backswing. That prevents head movement with the shoulders to move the arms around the body and the necessary weight shift to make a good coil and activate the lower body to turn in the downswing and re-hinge the wrists through the ball to the finish. No doubt Paul you are the best TH-cam golf instructor. You've helped me immensely.
So glad i met your lessons. I was watching the usual online teachers, all looked oké but in the end nothing worked. Now i play so effortless after watching your lessons , loose wrists and so, it’s unbelievable what a difference, so thank you very much !!!!
Glad you found me and are now improving. Loose is the key. This will allow you to get lots of power with minimal effort. In other words you are building a swing for life. Keep at it.
This video helped me so much. I wasn’t hinging my wrists at all because I thought wrist movement would create more problems. After practicing this I now compress the ball with much less effort and my swing as so much smoother. Thank you.
@@paulwilsongolf Agreed. My hands naturally turn out slightly when i let them hang, so i play w a weak left hand and a strong right, essentially neutral to slightly closed. I've tried to get it more "normal" but I play to a 6 with really good ball and club head speed and not a consistent big miss so if it ain't broke...lol
Paul wilson is officially crowned GOAT 🐐... unbelievable how much inapplicable information there is out there for your amateur golfers.. you made me sleep better at night paul. Thanks
Wow, thanks. Yes, I went through all that stuff. The thing is, I know my student(s). I have always kept this in mind from my very first lesson. It has to be fast and easy. So I say things the way I do because they work. Get too technical the person tunes out and they have no idea what you are even talking about. Simple is the way. People following me are starting to play great golf. Just a matter of time and hopefully everyone starts to loosen up.
Paul Wilson - I shot my best score yesterday. Shot 67. This is absolutely the best drill / swing thought ever. You are truly the best teacher out there. Absolutely no mechanic involved or discussing positions. Your method truly works ! Coil and uncoil while doing hinge and rehinge. People ask me how I hit the ball consistent. I respond saying that there is only one widest arc! Just like how you taught me. The widest arc always squares the clubface and hits the center of the clubface. It’s amazing how when you allow your arm to swing as fast as your body it looks sooooo slow but I was bombing my 3 wood 290 yards.
Now that's playing. I love hearing it. You described it perfectly. It really is such a simple move but you put that ball down and people go crazy. Keep up the good work.
Paul Wilson Golf Paul I forgot to Mention, I actually missed two GREEN that day. Because I went over the green. I kept on thinking “swing slow” this is your drill where you teach let your arm swing as fast as your body which is only 2.5 mph. I ended up shooting my approach with Pitching Wedge over 141 yards ended up bogey. Never turning back to anything else again.
I was away from golf for more than four years. When I returned to the game I rebuilt my swing using Paul’s old Swing Machine Golf book and videos, which has evolved into The Body Swing. Three months into my return I shot 70 on a 6,340 yard par 70 course, besting my age of 71 for the first time. Fast forward four months and I shot 69 on a 6,119 yard par 72 course, still at 71 years old. Playing my best golf ever with a Paul Wilson swing. Unabashed and unapologetic testimonial!
Nice! I love hearing it. So glad you found me. I like teaching better players who took a break from golf because players like this have already learned how to use the body. I just have to get them back to using it versus someone who has never used it all. They are a lot harder to teach. Keep up the good work.
If you want go faster, spin your top, if you want to go slower, spin your top. When I'm warmed up I feel like I'm about half my age :) I got a two day scramble game starting tomorrow, I am so excited to play within reason, better than I ever played. As I learn the proper way to play I won't get anymore grey hairs:) This effortless swing works like a pendulum for sure. Just hope I don't crack a club off tomorrow:) Thank you Paul.
Paul - thanks a million for posting this video. Apparently, this is what I was doing wrong. No idea why I didn't fully hinge my wrist, probably because I thought I'd get more accuracy if I didn't, but the opposite turned out to be true. I watched this last night, went to the range today, hit my irons farther, straighter and with consistent compression. I've watched a lot of youtube golf videos, some with conflicting information, but going forward I've decided to only watch your videos and focus on applying your techniques. I know that I need to move my lower body sooner on the downswing, that's next to work on. Again, I very much appreciate your videos, this one in particular.
Glad I could help and glad you decided to follow me. You don't want conflicting info. If mine works then stay focused on my stuff. Too many people are jumping around looking for the magic answer. The magic answer is here and I keep it simple so people understand it then try it. Like you, they see results. Once this happens they know they can do it and get excited about their game. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the support.
Glad you like it. That is a huge part of the swing for sure. Get this any you will get distance. Then as you couple it with your body coiling and uncoiling you get even more.
I practice every day at home. I keep an assortment of clubs right outside in my backyard to swing every time I go out to smoke my pipe or for any other reason. I've learned to keep things even looser from watching you, Paul. Thanks for all your tips.
Good stuff! I keep telling everyone practicing at home is the best place to practice. No ball means you are not hitting. Then you can practice with no distractions and actually make the changes you need to play great golf.
This tip helped a lot. The easiest part to remember to is the wrist compression, if you don't feel it, you did it wrong. Very easy to comprehend. Could you do a video on hitting the ball off the toe, please? Thanks.
My instructor had me strengthen my grip to promote a draw. However, if I’m not really careful with my takeaway my hands rotate and open the face. Tried a neutral grip and made sure to fully hinge my wrists with excellent results. Have to take it to the course next. Thanks!
A lot of teachers teach that. Like I say in this tip it takes work: th-cam.com/video/Hh_uALjl_jk/w-d-xo.html why work if you don't have to? Glad you see the neutral grip is the way. Keep at it and you will never regret it.
I did your grip and made sure I kept my head down and I hit the ball much straighter at range. Some still went straight left but the straight ones had distance unlike when I played yesterday. Will try the hinge tip next
If you are pulling your shots you are pulling the club down with your arms. This is tilting your whole body forward in the downswing. Watch: th-cam.com/video/sbE-hzTXgNo/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/KlffJzbskmM/w-d-xo.html and try this too: th-cam.com/video/m8FxSZSmKEw/w-d-xo.html fixed.
I have been working on hinging as well as driving my right knee as I’m hitting. Handicap from 7 to 5 Now I need to concentrate on grip as I am drawing the ball more, unfortunately, not consistently! Thank-you!!!
That's great. hdcp going down is great. Yes, if you are hooking it without trying to hook it you have a grip problem. Follow my neutral grip here: th-cam.com/video/jQZLp8bF-Ww/w-d-xo.html and don't forget the trigger finger from last night.
Great video which I put in practice with great results. I am still struggling with bunker play. Could you please do another video on your technique, how to deal with high lips and different kinds of sand? Thank you.
Glad you liked it. Did you not see my bunker video? Follow it: th-cam.com/video/MK9MyN3mdt8/w-d-xo.html higher or lower open or square the face. More or lesson distance turn faster or slower. Or you can do a combination of both. If you are not getting out you are not following that video.
@@paulwilsongolf Thank you, I watched the video again and practiced. The method works provided other ingredients are added like weight distribution and rhythm.
This feels like the answer to my problems. I do this with my driver and it’s the strongest club in my bag. I have zero hinge with my irons and they are a disaster. Heading to the range now! Does this apply inside 100 yards?
You hinge your wrists with all clubs. All shots unless chipping. Watch: th-cam.com/video/6ZeTqcz2pmE/w-d-xo.html Check you grip isn't he cause: th-cam.com/video/lWEhXEGSgRE/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/M868QsTlGt4/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/7olBqwXF3Ik/w-d-xo.html
Paul first of all thank you so much for taking the time to answer the same questions over and over. I am hooked on your system and am improving daily. Is there anyway of taming a hook. When you have a neutral grip and still hook/overdraw. I know it is a closed face to the path but not sure how to change to a fade
Hi there Mr. Wilson, do you have a video on fixing a slice with both driver and irons. I’ve been following your advice and have really loose arms and I’ve been consistently hitting a slice.
Hello. So the face is open. This means you are not allowing it to rehinge. In other words with driver you are trying to hit it too hard and tightening your wrists. See them as a hinge. They hinge ... they rehinge. Hopefully, you are doing my neutral grip. Then do this drill and watch the face: th-cam.com/video/OFJOLBSXSfQ/w-d-xo.html If you have to roll it early then do so. get it hooking. Then we get rid of the slice spin. Once you do that, start adding body to straighten it back out. So simple.
This is really great tip. Have this I have hit solid ball. It really brings me power. However when I focus on weight and hip turn. I forgot this drill. How can i keep them both?
You stick to mastering one through daily practice then you think of the other. Too many people want everything all at once so they never get anything. If I make a change I instantly think 1 month from now it will be in my swing. That is doing daily practice swings.
My golf coach has me hinging with my right wrist cocking back but when I applied feeling more of the left wrist as you are demonstrating in this video I noticed I hinged a lot more. What is your opinion on which wrist to think about is more effective? Thank you!
I would be thinking left hand allowing the right to also hinge. The left is the lead hand in the backswing. Once hinged you can tell due to pressure in the left wrist joint. It can only hinge so far. So you need to keep working it back and setting this exact spot every time.
Above your chest? Are you too flat at the top or something? Your arms are connected to your body. Turn your body to move your arms. Get to halfway back and hinge the club to the top. Literally lift the club up to set it up there until you train it to go up.
Hi Paul, love the technique and a great way to avoid back pain too. I find I'm much looser but tend to be hooking too much. I seem to be 'whipping' through the ball instead of 'powering' through the ball... Any advice on this?
Thanks so much. I keep telling people my swing does not hurt your body. You are more proof. Hope others are reading this and try it. Not sure what you mean. You want a whipping sensation with your wrists but powering it with your legs and hips. So focus on them for the power and just let the arms go.
@@paulwilsongolf thanks Paul, so the whipping action is an expected by-product of the loose wrists? How do I prevent hooks with this? I want to keep this technique you advise as it is so easy on my back.
You can still slice with a strong grip so is a strong grip really the cure for slicing? Just loosen your wrists and roll them over until you get right of the slice spin. Then add body rotation to straighten it out.
Paul, it's hard to see your left wrist when you're wearing your watch. It looks as though you're bending the back of your left hand towards your forearm in the backswing as well as in the forward swing (i.e. not bowed at the top like Dustin Johnson) though you don't mention this. I imagine this also requires practice so that you hinge at the right time? Thanks.

When your fully hinging on your backswing - does the wrist have to be flat? trial arm palm facing the sky like you’re holding a plate ? While trying this drill I’m hooking or slicing after using my hips and loose wrists and I THINK I’m trying to pinpoint the problem by understanding where does my wrist point at the top of backswing and during the downswing how do I work on hitting thr ball so it goes straight. What is the sequence of hinging? I see some people fully hinged in the first 25% of the backswing, others fully hinged when left arm is parallel to the ground. Others gradually hinging to maximum at the top, any preferred sequence? Love your videos.
Coil your body to move the arms to 1/2 way back. Then the club starts hinging. If your wrists are loose they will hinge on their own. If not, you need to to train them to hinge. th-cam.com/video/Z8K3Gctkz7A/w-d-xo.html So I prefer a late set.
I struggle with how early/late to start hinging. Many teachers promote the “one piece takeaway” in which you start to hinge late. When I do that I tend to have stiffness/tension in my swing and end up not fully hinging at the top. Interested in your thoughts as to how soon to start hinging vs the one-piece takeaway theory. My pre-shot routine almost always consists of the 3/4 swing hinging/re-hinging as you show here, only with a normal grip (not diwn on the shaft) Thanks!
I teach it too. Why not get it though by turning your body. If you turn your body your arms move. So you are at setup. You turn your body and arms move to half back. Then you hinge the club up to the top. Doesn't get easier that that.th-cam.com/video/TFjh9dGkZXA/w-d-xo.html
Paul Wilson Golf Thanks! Great analogy and swing thought comparing it to the putting stroke! I am actually headed to the practice range in about a half hour and will give this a try. Not only do you have great tips in your videos, but I’m sure many others would agree with me that it is so amazing and so appreciated that you respond to everyone’s comments and questions so promptly! It’s obvious you truly want to help as many golfers as you can
Well the covid thing gave me time to finally go full force on youtube. This takes a lot of time which I never had before. So now it's time to make everyone play great. The snowball has started to roll down the hill.
Paul Wilson Golf Paul, just back from my practice session. Best session in over a year! Focused on three key tips from you… Loose wrists with a full hinge, one piece takeaway and activating the legs and hips. Intentionally swung at 75% just to incorporate your tips and guess what! The ball was flying farther with 7-iron, 5-iron and driver than it usually does with full swing! And that’s with dead range balls. Can’t wait to tee up a Titleist Tuesday on the course!
Hey Paul, is the hinge meant to happen automatically by keeping the wrists loose? Are they meant to hinge in half shots? I don't like to force the hinge because it means my wrists, particularly my right wrist, locks up.
It is once you have worked on the neutral grip and learned to hinge and rehinge them loosening your wrist joint. This means you have to hold on securely and work the club back and forth until the wrists loosen with a secure grip. Watch this: th-cam.com/video/Z8K3Gctkz7A/w-d-xo.html Then do this drill daily: th-cam.com/video/6ZeTqcz2pmE/w-d-xo.html Neutral grip here: th-cam.com/video/jQZLp8bF-Ww/w-d-xo.html I have done it so much I just allow the looseness to release it. Watch this too: th-cam.com/video/jEWe9Gaoqxo/w-d-xo.html
Left wrist pain is typically the person holding on too tight and mis hitting the center of the face. You could also not be hinging and rehinging correctly. Could be swinging too hard trying to hinge and rehinge etc. Check your grip: th-cam.com/video/jQZLp8bF-Ww/w-d-xo.html Watch this too: th-cam.com/video/uRWI8Mhnsa8/w-d-xo.html Could do this drill: th-cam.com/video/6ZeTqcz2pmE/w-d-xo.html Then start off slow. It's not about doing this stuff fast.
Well, it's a 1/4 second to impact. You can lock your leg in about a 1/2 a second. A half second in your swing would be at the 3/4 through point. So if you started to lock it as soon as you started down it would be locked in the through swing at 3/4 through. So as soon as you start down you need to start locking the leg.
I’ve been using your method for about three weeks. I hit the driver well but irons are often thin. I’m still “flipping” the club( hand behind ball at impact).
Paul Wilson Golf I will work on it! Thanks so much! Your teaching and videos have been well worth the money. I will actually be in Vegas in a few weeks and am contemplating a half day lesson.
Both hands are hinging and re-hinging. Getting the club to hinge like this puts pressure in the weak wrists join on both sides which is why I did it with the left hand. After you get them hinging you are not trying to hinge and re-hinge. You are allowing them to hinge and re-hinge.
Well you don't need strong wrists you need loose wrists with a strong grip. Just do the drill I talk about in this video: th-cam.com/video/Z8K3Gctkz7A/w-d-xo.html
Why would it. Your wrist are a hinge. They hinge ... they rehinge. Then you attach the arm unit to your body. If you fire properly it moves the release point past the ball. Hi Paul, love the content so much. I was SMASHING drivers on the range this morning and the looser I kept my arms, the better the shot. Do you have instructors trained to teach your method? I’d love to see someone in the Dallas area!
Awesome feeling. You do not need someone there. You can work with me anywhere with my new app. It's video coaching. If I can see you I can help you. Find out more here: bodyswing.com/coachlink
@@paulwilsongolf Hi Paul, I read about the new video coach....sounds awesome. What I did not see is do you need to be a member or is this pay by usage? Thanks and keep up the great work!
So if you are slicing would the face not be open? A loose hinge would never do that so you are tightening it. So roll it over sooner and get it hooking. Once you can do that keep the feeling then add body to straighten it out. The shank is you hitting which is getting you on your toes in the downswing. You are also too tilted at set up so stand up taller and coil and uncoil. Fat is is arms too. So everything you are saying you are telling me you are hitting with your arms.
You need to feel your arms as you work on the hinge. Master it. Then turn them off. Doing nothing is never going to get you there. There are times you are feeling your arms. This is when you are working on positions and drills etc. Once you get it then turn them off in the down and through swing.
I have only seen one golfer out there hinge whit cupped wrists like this and that is Brian Harman. Players like Dustin Johnson and John Rahm is doing the opposite, bowed.
Yeah right. Guess you never heard of Hogan, Nicklaus, Watson, Woods, Player, Byron Nelson, Couples, Faldo etc etc etc. You want to bow your wrists go right ahead. Good luck.
This is a huge piece of the swing. Just see it not as arms and wrists but a hinge. Work on this first. You will have it master when you rarely every put slice spin the ball. At this point you remember this feeling as you switch your focus to coiling and uncoiling. th-cam.com/video/M868QsTlGt4/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/p4vASmOzkPg/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/N-nGM6yN790/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/yHEv7G9Z5-0/w-d-xo.html Do this to straighten it out: th-cam.com/video/bLskGy7rulo/w-d-xo.html
I don’t make nowhere near as good contact with massive hinge, and quite a few tour players are the same and have some of the most powerful swings, and don’t hinge on follow through
Well, it's not a massive hinge. It's the amount you can hinge to your maximum. The maximum the bones allow. I would assume you either weren't doing it right or as you hinged you too it back way too far which got you pulling your arms down to catch back up to your body in the downswing. Hit with arms and you will have trouble. Keep in mind tour players do this daily and have repeated it hundreds of thousands of times. You have not and never will so keep it simple. If you feel that what you are doing has you playing your best golf then keep doing it. If you feel you are not playing to your potential then make a few changes. Up to you.
HInge and re-hinge really work.
Glad you got it. Be careful. Scrambles are not great for your swing. The get you swinging too hard. Trust your swing.
Great tip I tend to overthink tips which leads to locking up. Have to remember we are all different as you point out in this tip. Thanx again
See the wrists as a hinge. You tighten that up and it will be tough to consistently hit great shots.
God it feels good. Freeing. My club now snaps on a natural path around me. Beautiful soft finish over the shoulder. I've missed this. Thanks Paul
Very good. Let it go!
I really enjoy any content pertaining to the hinge rehinge theory. Thank you.
Thanks.
Toeing is you coming out of it while attacking from the inside. Work on this: th-cam.com/video/X_pF7x-OCXU/w-d-xo.html
@@paulwilsongolf thank u sir
This is one of the videos you ask me to watch. Thank you.
Glad you did. This is a vital part of the swing for sure.
What I meant was I took more than a 2/3 swing but not quite full power.
Great tip! Makes good sense to help keep the wrists loose. Also seems like it could be a great swing thought without being too technical.
Absolutely! Simple is the key. This is how I teach everything. If you make it complicated you will never get it.
I have been working on hinging as well as driving my right knee as I’m hitting. Handicap from 7 to 5
Now I need to concentrate on grip as I am drawing the ball more, unfortunately, not consistently!

Paul first of all thank you so much for taking the time to answer the same questions over and over. I am hooked on your system and am improving daily. Is there anyway of taming a hook. When you have a neutral grip and still hook/overdraw. I know it is a closed face to the path but not sure how to change to a fade
Neutral grip then if still hooking need to fire the hips first. If they move before the arms start down the hook will be straight or a slight draw.
Hey Mr.Wilson. I just subscribed and I have too say I really enjoy your videos.

It was the best tip i ever had
Thanks. This is a huge part of the swing. Get this and you get power (once it is connected to your body).
Thank you, sir, I appreciate it!
Awesome tip. Can you please make a video on how to keep the left arm above your chest when you turn your shoulders?
Above your chest? Are you too flat at the top or something? Your arms are connected to your body. Turn your body to move your arms. Get to halfway back and hinge the club to the top. Literally lift the club up to set it up there until you train it to go up.
@@paulwilsongolf thank you. My golf game has improved immensely with your golf tips.:)))
I believe that it may require more rotation and drive with the legs.
Thanks, looks like my grip has been a little strong, always been afraid of slicing, will try a neutral grip

Another great drill, should I cup my wrist to get more hinge or just straight wrist and less hinge?
Glad you liked it. Watch: th-cam.com/video/uRWI8Mhnsa8/w-d-xo.html
@@paulwilsongolf yep, slightly cupped at the top. Yesterday I hit straightest drivers in my life and longer than my buddies in the group. cheers~~
Watch this:
th-cam.com/video/Z8K3Gctkz7A/w-d-xo.html
Then do this drill daily:

When you hinge in your backswing are you mainly hinging with your left wrist?
Answered in my last reply.
Paul, why do you think my left wrist is hurting? Am I hinging incorrectly or locking up at impact, or cupping?
Left wrist pain is typically the person holding on too tight and mis hitting the center of the face. You could also not be hinging and rehinging correctly. Could be swinging too hard trying to hinge and rehinge etc. Check your grip: th-cam.com/video/jQZLp8bF-Ww/w-d-xo.html
Watch this too: th-cam.com/video/uRWI8Mhnsa8/w-d-xo.html
Could do this drill: th-cam.com/video/6ZeTqcz2pmE/w-d-xo.html
Then start off slow. It's not about doing this stuff fast.
This has been totally missing in my golf swing - a huge difference makerp
Yes, most people are locked up. Get this and you get effortless power. Stay loose.
I have a question for ya. At what point of the down swing do you have to start straightening the lead leg. I hope I’m making sense
Turn your body faster. This will move the release point more forward.
Paul Wilson Golf I will work on it! Thanks so much! Your teaching and videos have been well worth the money. I will actually be in Vegas in a few weeks and am contemplating a half day lesson.
Does your right hand play a role in hinging the left hand ?
Both hands are hinging and re-hinging. Getting the club to hinge like this puts pressure in the weak wrists join on both sides which is why I did it with the left hand. After you get them hinging you are not trying to hinge and re-hinge. You are allowing them to hinge and re-hinge.
@@paulwilsongolf thank you sir
Paul does this apply to fairway woods also ?
You only have one swing. Everything applies to all clubs. I would watch this though: th-cam.com/video/pjOXHIWU8ps/w-d-xo.html
What is the difference between this and casting/flipping the golf club?
Casting would be as you start down which would then lead to flipping through impact. This would be the person using their arms.
Are there exercises you recommended for strengthening your wrists?
Well you don't need strong wrists you need loose wrists with a strong grip. Just do the drill I talk about in this video:
th-cam.com/video/Z8K3Gctkz7A/w-d-xo.html
Paul doesn’t this just make you flip at the ball?
Why would it. Your wrist are a hinge. They hinge ... they rehinge. Then you attach the arm unit to your body. If you fire properly it moves the release point past the ball. Watch:
th-cam.com/video/jEWe9Gaoqxo/w-d-xo.html

Awesome feeling. You do not need someone there. You can work with me anywhere with my new app. It's video coaching. If I can see you I can help you. Find out more here: bodyswing.com/coachlink
@@paulwilsongolf Hi Paul, I read about the new video coach....sounds awesome. What I did not see is do you need to be a member or is this pay by usage? Thanks and keep up the great work!
Brilliant!
Thanks so much.
When I try this, I either slice drastically or hit the hosel or my shots are fat.
Why does it look like you are so choked up on the club? Is that just to make it easier to see the wrist hinging on this video?
I don't choke up. Might have been just to show people.
im trying so hard to get this hinging, but i keep getting back to using strength. hmm...
You need to feel your arms as you work on the hinge. Master it. Then turn them off. Doing nothing is never going to get you there. There are times you are feeling your arms. This is when you are working on positions and drills etc. Once you get it then turn them off in the down and through swing.
@@paulwilsongolf i bring my Macbook evry morning to the local trackman sim and watch your videos while i hit. I will get it soon. I will master it.

This is a huge piece of the swing. Just see it not as arms and wrists but a hinge. Work on this first. You will have it master when you rarely every put slice spin the ball. At this point you remember this feeling as you switch your focus to coiling and uncoiling.

Up to you.
Great
