After a 100 mile gravel race earlier this year, I landed myself in a Miami hospital with rhabdomyolysis. I, too, missed a lot of work at first and was unable to ride for a while. That said, my first race post-recovery landed me on the podium, finishing 3rd overall. I say this only to offer you hope. Spend the next several weeks or months practicing gratefulness and visualizing all your future victories. No doubt you’ll be there soon. We can’t wait to see you up on the podium and making bad ass comeback videos! Much love from the cycling community✌🏼❤️

Lovely video as usual 😊 regarding technical riding, I find I have way more control in the drops, especially regarding brakes. For me the hoods are for the chill parts of a trail and whenever it gets gnarly, it feels way more stable In the drops
Technical terrain, especially when you haven't ridden it before, can make anyone feel new to the sport! It can be frustrating but I try to see it as a challenge...with enough practice and patience you will get better! When I first started riding in Granite Bay, I could barely do any of the rocky sections! Now I have almost all of them, other than the one that I filmed...but I'll get it eventually! So glad to have you a part of the community!
Great to see some local trails represented - love that Granite Bay loop. I prefer the left line on the rocks, but my wife likes the right - was looking forward to seeing which way you chose but I guess it will remain a mystery! Thanks for the videos - looking forward to more Sacramento area gravel action!
I haven't nailed it yet on my gravel bike..only my mountain bike on the right... I ended up blowing out my knee Tuesday, so it's going to be a while before I can get back out there...but I'm determined to hit it before the year is over on my gravel bike :) Thank you so much for watching and I appreciate your comment!!
I love those rides where it mainly twists and turns and 'flows' along (with maybe some technical stuff now and then). Not all rides need to be super technical. It's fun to just have some fun! Nice video. Thanks.

I have a rad 6 part series for Sister Bikes in August that’s going to be epic🤍🤍 And yes to being vegan (since 2007.) It’s the diet that works best in my body. More importantly, it doesn’t require any animals to die and it’s much more sustainable for our planet. I don’t judge how other people choose to eat, but if anyone ever has questions, I am happy to share my positive experience making the switch to a vegan diet. So glad you are here and I appreciate you supporting my new channel!!
