I hope they finish this whole game. I grew up in the 90s and me and my friends always talked about how cool it would be to be INSIDE of the game. This is actually happening and its honestly emotional for those of us that grew up on the original. I never thought id see it. Oh man, Imagine majoras mask too! But honestly, id be happy with even just this little bit of oot.
Nintendo will shut this sh*t down within the next few months, haha! They don't take too kindly to their IPs being used, regardless if it's fan projects that don't make any money for the creators.

It's been a dream of mine to play classic Zelda games in VR ever since the Quest 2 port of RE4, and the amount of interaction in this is particularly impressive work for a modder! Specifically the ability to climb ladders naturally is really cool, and I'm shocked to see the ability to drop items like your sword by letting go of the grip. *More VR games should let you do that.* This is, without a doubt, one of the coolest fan projects Nintendo will ever shut down.
Normally vr chat games look pretty simple and half baked and something like this would probably just let you walk around the world. But the fact that they’re going all out and trying to recreate the entire game as a real vr experience is really cool and I hope nintendo doesn’t end up messing everything up. Sure, it’s not really accurate, but it’s probably just a proof of concept right now that they’re working to turn into the full game.
I travelled 220 miles just to get this game cartridge for the N64 when it first released. I had to give the guy in the shop an extra fiver to hold it for me. This looks awesome, thanks G.T.

I know this is random but I've had this VR game idea were you play as a pikmin and your goal is to get food to survive for the day, and it would be multiplayer with proximity chat and you can fight the bulborbs, and if you die the only way you can get revived is if somebody brings a pellet or bullborb to your onion, the way you would attack bullborbs would be going behind them and pressing the trigger buttons on both of the controllers to grab onto them and moving your head back and forth, obviously there would be all the pikmin types like the poision one, eletric, water, fire, purple, even the flying one, I was also thinking there would be a day and night timer, every day is like 15 - 20 minutes long and if you dont make it to the onion you have to survive outside in the nightime, this is just something cool I've had in the back of my mind, if somebody made this I would go nuts!
I can’t wait for them to add npcs even monsters in the future! I think this is the same map that’s been in the works for a while, I can’t believe how far it’s come
For anyone wanting to play this, it is in vrchat, but that means that there won't be any way to save progress, unless the world creator has managed to pull off a few tricks. Just keep that in mind. I'm probably gonna try and play later, too.

Wow. Nintendo please join the vr community. Since Sony isn't doing much wich i thought would be the gamechanger for the vr community but sadly Sony earns enough on flatgamers and since most game boomers aren't changing what they allready know(like most of my friends who i can't get into vr, most don't even want to try it or say they want go back to n64 graphics). Maybe zelda will turn them over since most of them got a switch just for breath of the wild.
Dammit! I'm like 3/4 of the way through playing it on CitraVR and I don't know if I want to commit to starting over completely to play in VR. But this is still cool as fuck and I'll still have to mess around with it a bit.
It is super cool though! There's also a majoras mask vrchat world that's even more impressive. The game is multiplayer too so you can mess around in hyrule with a bunch of other people and voice chat
Just one comment: For the newcomers, you should explain what is it, and also where and how to install it. It's a good practice to make a video clarifying the basic questions first. For example: in Windows, is it playable or do you need vrchat because it is ONLY there ? What will happen if vrchat is sued by nintendo and the game dissapears? Thank you
This game was originally designed to be in first person but they decided to go for a third person so you could see Link and the rest of the game was built around that. This is cool for a tech demo to walk around but I can't see the game being a fully functional or playable experience.
May I asked how you achieved this feat? I would absolutely adore playing this game in vr. Is it possible to play either the gamecube version or nintendo switch version of Windwaker in VR as well?
This is evidence that first person is flawed perspective for gaming until they master peripheral vision and the ability to check behind you instantly. You wouldn’t last a second in the deli tree in VR or FPShooter

You can play it with Nintendo 3ds emulator, the graphic is very pixelated but has a cool 3d effect
