Today I learned that I cleanse my face too quickly, and with too little product. I've been using the 6.5 whip cleanser for several months and love it, but just purchased the 5.5 foam cleanser to give it a try. I only use one squirt of the 6.5 whip cleanser in the evening, as my second cleanse. I'll try your method and see if I notice any difference.

Im the same!! I'm cheap af so I just use one pump, but lately, since I got work, I started using at least 1.5 pumps and it's been SUPER great!!! So much better than just 1 pump, it will only last me for more than 1month in that way, tho

Omg can you tell me what you are using. We have the same type of skin, I'm also living in a humid country. I currently is not using any product on my face. Yes! None at all. Because all the products I've tried caused acne to my skin. I'm gonna cry 😭😭
can you please assess this ingredient list for me? its for a cleanser I bought from a medispa and its supposed tone good for acne-prone and sensitive skin but i really don't know how to read the ingredients. i know fragrance is bad but besides that is anything good/bad? "Citric Acid, Cocamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Decyl Glucoside, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, DMDM Hydantoin, Ethoxydiglycol, Fragrance, Hexamidine Diisethionate, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Water/Eau."
love ur videos. i wish i found ur video earlier. but, i tried both and i love the whip cleanser more because the 5.5 foam cleanser was more drying then the whip cleanser. and i have combinafion oily skin.

How does the 5.5 foam cleanser compare to the Bioderma Sensibio cleanser that is also ph 5.5? Are both just as effective in removing chemical sunscreen alone? I currently use the Bioderma after watching your earlier videos! It has been working well but I’m open to cheaper alternatives!
Hello! Yup it is sufficient to remove chemical sunscreens! Consistency wise, I think the pH 5.5 cleanser is smoother and softer on the skin. While the Bioderma cleanser is formulated to soothe and also retain moisture better, the 5.5 foam cleanser is a much more simpler cleanser so it depends on what your skin needs! ☺️
I tried double cleansing with the inky list oat cleansing balm followed by the Cosrx Low PH Good Morning Cleanser and it broke me out massively. Would the Soon Jung 5.5 foam cleanser be sufficient to remove the Soon Jung Mild Defence Sun Screen without double cleansing?
if you dont wear any makeup then you dont have to do double cleansing and can just use the soon jung cleanser. But if you wear makeup i highly recommend you do double cleaning to get rid of all the makeup, dirt and sunscreen :)

I have a combination ( oily on the t zone and dry on cheek) and very very sensitive skin, what do you recommend me to buy? The 5.5 foam cleanser or the 6.5 whip cleanser? Because rn I'm dealing with closed comedones and I'm trying to find the right cleanser that will not destroy my skin barrier

the whip 6.5 cleanser made my skin break out in my chin and forehead and it also made me oily for some reason? which has never happened before with any product are there any comedogenic properties in this cleanser?
Hmm no it doesn’t. From what you’ve described, perhaps you’re not cleansing thoroughly enough since it makes you oily and also causes you to breakout.

Thanks for this comparison! When I saw the 5.5 foam cleanser I thought about your opinion since u are a fan of the 6.5 whip cleanser. May I ask if u wash your face in the morning? So many beauty gurus advice against it. However, I find that leaving the products I apply at night then apply sunscreen in the morning is a bit too much?
Yes I wash my face in the morning and I recommend doing so especially for people with oily skin or if you’re living in a humid country! 💕

Would you suggest using this alongside the cosrx salicylic acid cleanser? I noticed lots of purging on my jaw and forehead. It’s been about 2 weeks now.
I can't say anything for your products, but I think you should drink water daily, it'll help your skin :)

Hi Rin. Does the foam cleanser smells like sour cream/yoghurt. Mine smells like that. And the consistency is rather chalky and not creamy. Did i just get a bad batch or fake one.??? 😭

The 5.5 cleanser has a pretty strong smell that I find very off-putting. It’s the same smell as the cosrx gel cleanser as well as the Klairs foaming cleanser which I think is tea tree. Seems like a lot of Korean facial cleansers that does not have fragrance smell that way. Do you want something else that has no smell to recommend?
The 5.5 foam cleanser is fragrance-free and doesn't contain tea tree though. I don't think it smells! :)

Go for 5.5 bc 6.5 might be too drying for you (it's what I use since I have oily sensitive acne prone skin) and btw they have little to no fragrance. But I also recommend Heimish ph 5.5 All Clean Green Foam, it's gel type with faint scent and is very hydrating, ideal for dry and sensitive skin.

Imo, I think the consistency of the foam makes it cleanse better because the whip can dissolve pretty easily, thus I always use at least 3 pumps. ☺️

I’ve seen a few of your videos talking abt how the whip cleanser is definitely not drying but I guess I’m kinda skeptical of foaming cleansers. I’ve used cosrx low ph gel cleanser but sometimes its kinda dry on my skin so I will def be trying the 5.5ph cleanser like u suggested
I find that the Cosrx Low pH cleanser is sometimes drying for me too!
Maybe because cosrx low ph good morning gel cleanser have betaine salicylic (i think it is bha), so it can be drying, make sure to apply moisturiser 😉
