Another great episode! I would love to travel to Malaysia in the future, it seems so fun and rich with beautiful culture and delicious food. Your videos are incredibly helpful 😊
@@AlwaysBeChanging not surprise as this one is seldom use and most commuters will opt for KL sentral which is more convenient and easy to connect to other public transportations
@@AlwaysBeChanging do come back then. The next visit you should tour the entire peninsular Malaysia by bus and to include several days stop on 1 or 2 islands. You could also go on a day trip to Singapore as well! 😃
Yes...even locals always got confused with KL station and KL sentral station......but read carefully....they are spelled differently...aren't they....and you didn't read it carefully didn't you...just like we did....😅😅😅
Enjoyed that as it's a trip I'll be doing soon. You answered most of my questions Travel insurance is something that too many young people skip, despite it being as cheap as chips for healthy them.
We have found it so valuable now that we travel so often. Especially the medical coverage is such a great safety net. We don’t travel without coverage now.
Yes, you guys supposed to get down at KL Sentral, more options for transportation to your hotel, instead you guys stopped at the old railway station, KTM shouldn't let the station neglected, it gave a bad image to KL and Malaysia, the station is operational but it also looked a bit abandoned.
@@AlwaysBeChanging By the way, just a little addition, the old colonial railway station built by the British was still in a better condition about a decade ago, I always take KTM train from KL Sentral to the old station for my Friday prayer at the national mosque which is just opposite the station. The station used to have a hotel and its restaurant, KFC and another fast food restaurant. The lobby used to display artwork and paintings by local artists. Quite disappointed to see it's left in a poor condition. The old railway station is a heritage for KL and it should be treated in such a better way. 😀
@AlwaysBeChanging please plan the trip to borneo to start in April till July (summer). Coz the elephants will not come out to the riverbanks when it rains.
Our trains are similar to Laos. They are semi hsr. Currently only indonesia has a 150km track for hsr train. I heard the disadvantage with hsr is nausea or headache. This is from comment from Europeans
How has the weather been in KL and Penang? I planned to visit the region this week, but cancelled my trip because i read there is heavy rain and flooding.
I visit Malaysia 3-4 times a year with my two kids, wife. I think you would really enjoy legoland in Johor malaysia. But it’s on the Singapore border so you can visit it from Singapore or Johor. If you opt to stay in Johor (I would) there’s several pockets of airbnbs. By far the nicest area is puteri harbor. The airbnbs there are so nice and still so cheap and it’s only a 3 minute grab ride to legoland
Hi thanks for the video. I'm wondering if you are able to tell us how to book the tickets for this journey? I've looked on various booking websites and can only find options to book standard class tickets. Thanks again!
Thanks for watching! We were just discussing this and actually can't remember how we booked the tickets for the train journey, so we'd just need to start over with Google. So sorry!
Salam.. note: ktm sila jadikan bilik air di dlm train berbau wangi ckit... malulah ckit dari dulu xpernah cuba nak berubah... kedekut sangat ke nak letak pewangi..
Kalau tak kedekut stesen lama kl boleh beli jubin lantai dan dinding kerana banyak tercabut. Kualiti kerja memang teruk sebab simen tak cukup. Boleh lihat dalam video
@AlwaysBeChanging unfortunately. Just hang an auto deodorant dispenser. Ktm is stingy I guess by the looks of the old railway station. I felt better when the hsr will be built, it will be privately run between singapore and kl. But that is the future of course.
Oh.. u alighted at KTM KL station. That was our old station. Though historical building but it require much restoration. If you come to KL again, please alight at KL Central Station. It is one stop away. More convenient that station.
Why not just get a Grab in a few minutes and take that to the Penang ferry dock? I don't understand driving all the way south to the bridge and then back north to Butterworth. Also, the train is supposed to have wifi.
The traffic was so heavy on the way to the ferry too, we would have missed the boat. They only leave at certain times and we didn’t have time to wait for the next one. We had to wait over an hour for the grab to arrive.
Sorry but you guys are loud and as one who’s autistic , it would bother me in an enclosed area like a plane or train or automobile. I find those who voice travels don’t seem to realize it.
Well, not quite sure how to respond on this one, my friend... we tend to be very considerate of other people and we really try to avoid filming when it's gonna disturb others. That often means that we just "read the room" to ensure that we're not going to be more disruptive that the general vibe. That's why we often whisper in certain episodes or just decide not to film at all. In this train ride, I think we did a good job of staying at the same level as other passengers in terms of conversation and noise. But we hear you (no pun intended)!
You guys have the cutest thumbnails!! I present to you, the award for the cutest thumbnails on TH-cam. There. Done.
Phil has been working on our thumbnails. Thanks for noticing! 🙏🤗
Wow what a deal! $32 per person is definitely worth it for Business Class, especially when with the kiddos👌
Yes 👍🏻 it was so great that they had monitors to pass the time. We didn’t hear a peep from them the entire ride.
Malaysia is just pure value across the board! Love it there
this is what The Philippines are lacking - sufficient infrastructure 😔

I loved the video❤ been watching you guys since I was 11 and now I'm 12 almost 13! Been loving all your videos! God bless you guys❤
Thank you so much!! We appreciate you watching 🫶
That is the old railway station before reaching kl sentral. Yeah more maintenance is required for the old station.
Yes but it was still plenty close enough to downtown where our hotel is. It all worked out 😊
Good vid. Thanks for sharing the insights. Very informative thats the goal. Be safe and see you again on your next vid.
Thanks for watching! See you in the next vid 🫶
That’s the original train station in KL and it’s about less than a km away to the central market which you can just grab the LRT to KLCC
I didn’t realize there were two stations when I booked the tickets. Some things you need to experience to learn 😊

Nice little change of pace, getting to hear Erin say the introduction versus Phil this time was different but refreshing.

Thank you for this video and your train journey from Butterworth to KL. Wonderful. Hope that you guys had a great time in Malaysia.

Interesting. I get headaches often but I haven’t experienced one from a train yet.

Why you guys don't go and explore Singapore, It is very close to Malaysia
Done that already dude
Ya, Singapore was our first stop in Asia just over a year ago. We loved it! We did two episodes in the city.
