    I have enjoyed all your shows but this one I enjoyed the most because, you all seem to be happy and very comical. But most of all, you have included the local Africans more and the food as always was wonderful. Thankyou.

      I would say it’s the worst guide I’ve ever seen. It’s very never encountered a guide in that type of situation that would tell you not to keep a round in the chamber. Every hunt I’ve been on in Africa they have told me to get a round in the chamber as soon as you get out of the truck. You don’t know when a predator will attack so always need to be locked and loaded if you want to survive. I would never use that guide because of that alone. Horrible advice and not something you want to listen to.

    Those people complaining about the hinting of male lions NEED TO REALIZE that a HUNTERS well placed bullet is FAR MORE HUMANE than mother nature is to these GRAND CATS, OFTEN when they are past their prime they get beaten & mauled by younger males nomadic males in their prime looking for territories to rule for their own and IF NOT killed outright suffer much more through starvation and the.loss of their own prides & cubs that are killed by the overtaking male or males.

    the only thing i hate is hunting our lion and elephant we cry s much about them but sometimes we just kill them way to faster then they can reproduce i dont mind the rest as i am hunt loving person but lion and elephant hit me different what do we tell our kids a lion looks like or elephant

    • @AfricanSafariFilms
      @AfricanSafariFilms  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is so far from the truth. Example for elephant, their population grows by over 4% each year but only 1% quota is given for hunting. Lions there are plenty as people are breeding them as their numbers in the wild are low naturally and due to human encroachment. These are the facts

      @@AfricanSafariFilms India and Nepal banned the hunting of their own rhinos back at the start of the Twentieth Century when there were only around 200; decades later there’s now over 4,000 and growing, no longer considered “endangered” by the IUCN and absolutely zero poaching in their main strongholds, meanwhile you had Chumlong Lemtonghthai and his merry band of underaged prostitutes getting those permits to shoot up some rhinos, but only to smuggle the horns back to the black market trade, regardless and he only served six out of a forty year prison sentence.
      Alternatives to trophy hunting are possible, and sometimes “legal” trade can just lead to more poaching if the species’ parts are of high value in the black market trade, for example rhino horn.
      I’ll tell you this much: if Nepal opened up “legal” rhino or tiger hunting again than you’ll definitely end up seeing more bones and horns being smuggled to the black market, as that will open up a market that’s ripe for exploitation.
      Say what you want about your rhinos, but at the same time India and Nepal managed to grow their population exponentially without hunting, and since there was no open market available there were no trafficking loopholes.
      These are facts.

      @DESI_PEGG_RIDER do some research you have no idea what you're talking about. Hunting is what keeps these animals here because they have value and the heards are managed so everyone can enjoy them. Also the locals benefit from the meat that's given to them. My suggestion is if you don't like hunting don't watch a hunting video.

      So the two lions needed to be shot, why?@@AfricanSafariFilms

    • @AfricanSafariFilms
      @AfricanSafariFilms  ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @johnsheppard50 in South Africa the only lions roaming wild are in national parks. If those were the only lions in the country they Seoul’s be an endangered species. Thanks to farmers breeding lions for hunting there are 5x as many lion in the country than in the national parks. So no need to poach from the parks. There is a market for hunting and doing it this way is the best for the conservation of the species. We have a saying, if it pays it stays. So thanks to hunters lions are no longer endangered. Hope this helps

    • @johnsheppard50
      @johnsheppard50 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      At least that is an honest statement. They are being bred to satisfy the blood lust of rich individuals and it may have a positive outcome on total numbers. I will never accept the logic of that justification but thank you for your courteous reply.@@AfricanSafariFilms

    • @AfricanSafariFilms
      @AfricanSafariFilms  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @johnsheppard50 unfortunately to the anti hunter hunting is just viewed as a sport. But the conservation effort behind what we do far outweighs the feeling people feel when watching these videos. Thank you for your comments and listening to our side

      You do know that in some areas these animals are actually overpopulating, right? There are agencies that check animal populations and tell the land owners how many animals and what kind need to be hunted to keep everything else healthy. Game management is very important to the survival of many species.
      FYI, I have property in Texas and have to maintain the deer population or things go badly. When I got the property, there were so many deer that they were constantly fighting and injuring or killing each other. I would find a couple a day that had starved to death, and most of the deer were sick. Look up “Chronic Wasting Disease” if you want to see what that looks like. After over a decade and lots of hunting, the deer on my land are healthy and not constantly fighting. Since people wiped out their predators over a century ago, we have to stand in for those predators to manage the number of animals. If there are too many, then many animals suffer for a long time. If you have ever seen what CWD does to a deer, you would respect responsible hunting.
