Yep, he took the time to come outside at our NW Qld regional airport ( after the one night only gig was cancelled due to very poor weather) to take a snap with a couple of adult and 2 little kiddie fans. Darryl Bathwater ( who was on the same ticket) though, could not be bothered. This legend however has been back here twice since - with Olivia Newton-John once and a few years ago the local rodeo - perfection each and every time. Jeeze, we wish him and family all our best.💕💕

Vocal acrobatics are impressive and a result of good technique, which anyone can learn. But that fort-knox vault of emotions that each of us have deep inside our sould that are entirely our own and cant be felt in its absolute purity by anyone else; A singer who can access and ignite that feeling in thousands of people at the same time... That cannot be taught. ❤️

Watch the likes of Celine Dion in awe of her. Close second is Chains with the Veronica's and jess mauboy at the arias. Whilst they are all brilliant singers, as soon as Tina comes out she completely owns them. She is clearly in a class of her own even still all these years later.

he's massive in Germany, I was on holiday there back in the 80's he was the most played artist on local radio pop stations and he had a massive outdoor concert there just after I left..

If you look around TH-cam, he had a pretty good European following, especially after whispering jack…. Probably because of Glenn Wheatley’s experience and contacts in Europe…. Massive in Germany, but he also toured Sweden, Denmark, the UK among others….. and he appears to have returned there with every album release…. My husband is British and we visited his family in 2013….. one of his cousins was driving us around one day and the local radio station played youre the voice…. My jaw hit the floor and I said ‘you guys know this song/John Farnham over here?’ Her reaction? You’re the voice was part of her childhood….. she never realised how big he still is in australia 🤣
