      First, I believe Blum had every right to publish his book before a trial. His version of the crime may not be100% accurate but whose is-maybe BK is the only one who knows and he ain’t talking. Nary a peep from the dude for over a year and a half. He lets Anne Taylor do his talking, and talk she does. Declared him innocent in front of God and everybody. When the clouds of dust settle, we’ll see what a jury decides. I think there’s only a 50/50 chance that the trial begins as scheduled. Meanwhile, BK remains locked up. His chains may have begun to rattle at this point, shades of Jacob Marley’s ghost. I wonder if Brent Kopacka’s ghost has visited BK in his dreams. 😎😎😎

    Kohberger may have waited until he thought Kaylee had moved out, in order for Maddie to be on the 3rd floor by herself, without Kaylee and without a barking dog. He could do more as he wanted up there just the two of them. That also might explain why his attack on Kaylee was so vicious.

    This is what one of the victims families had to say about this guy and his book: “Mr. Blum’s book in our opinion is fiction. We have never spoken with Mr. Blum about the contents of his book. As a seasoned writer Mr. Blum has learned to write in a way that as long as he claims his information came from a source, he is protected. But all this book does is tell a STORY by Mr. Blum, a version made up by him relying on sources that have no responsibility or duty to speak the truth. I think “a suspenseful drama” sums up part of his intentions with this book quite clearly!
    Yes there may be hard work, research, and much factual information put into the book, I’m not refuting that- but at the end of the day, he is an investigative reporter, as far as I know, he is not a clinical psychologist, doctor, detective, FBI, or lawyer and may be more interested in crafting a great story than writing everything according to exact detail. Sometimes the truth isn’t as ‘interesting’ as the story in our heads. And I don’t think there is anything wrong with that, AS LONG as there is a disclaimer it is fiction, just fiction based in real facts.
    Many movies, books and docuseries related to true crime and even history, do the same thing. They give you facts, mixed with embellishments for a better story. And, we are supposed to be a critical thinking society that can make intelligent decisions based on research, to figure out what’s real and what’s not. The problem with that is, people seem to believe anything these days, and then spread it as fact without research. Not every one of course, many of us are very skeptical and always ask questions, but you know there is a percentage of society that is very gullible and trusting. I mean, look at cults like the people who believed Jim Jones and countless others. You know how many people get scammed a year online? According to the Data Book, people reported losing $10 billion to scams in 2023 online. That’s a lot of money, ands a lot of people. Sadly, it’s part of culture, and so us critical thinkers must do our best to warn others of BS and fabrication.
    I myself am a truth seeker- that’s why I’m getting my Masters in Forensic Psychology. I want to see justice, or at least my version of it. So, my only problem with this book is him saying “it’s all fact” - I think he should be more transparent about where he got some of this information, especially if the families are saying they’ve never spoken with him. The guy is a talented journalist/writer, but it’s hard to support this book, and I know many others feel that same way too 🤔

      Interesting. But he would have had to climb up from ground level, risking noise. Also, the dog was in K’s room and would have barked. Much more likely he entered thru the sliding door-quick and easy access. No sound.

      @lyndaalbrecht7006 xanas dad said they were really good about locking the slider tho. And there was a stool laying down In front of the slider locking it. I think from the side hill , it's actually easy for a man his height to get up there, and Imo it was kaylee that said " someone's here" because they saw his shadow walk in front of maddies window, or kaylee seen it in her room and ran to maddies room yelling someone's here, and that's why Dylan heard it below because her voice would echo or funnel down the stairs case

    • @onthecasejeannie
      @onthecasejeannie 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @lyndaalbrecht7006 I think that kaylee always left her doors unlocked because it's not ground level. I think many times he had been in the house, remember xanas dad said he had to replace the lock on xanas door. I bet because stuff was getting moved whenever they were all gone. I think that's another reason that kaylees friends said she was being stalked. I think one of the times was earlier in the day Saturday when they were at the football game and did a final walk thru and maybe he even hid a camera or audio recorder inside too.

      @@onthecasejeannie TY for your reply. I get a fair amount of hostile replies because I believe BK more likely than not did the crime. At this point, not much has been proven either way. It makes sense that BK would have entered the house through the sliding door, which was rarely locked due to a lot of people coming and going normally, it being a party house. To enter from the third floor, BK would have to have done some acrobatic climbing and risked making more noise. Much more simple, to enter thru the slider silently and go upstairs to Maddie’s room, she being his target. IMO. Murphy’s breed is valued by some owners because they bark rarely. But they will bark under stress.😎😎😎

    Now that I think about it, it is extremely coincidental for a white car, similar to his is caught on camera exactly around the time of the murders, and the witness discribed a man similar to him. He had to have done it. But y? Did the one girl embarrass him, or insult him, while serving him at the restaurant she worked at??? Did his pride get wounded? Why would you go kill someone over that? That's the only motives I can think of. I'm not an expert but some men seem so deeply offended & hurt over rejection. Come on Guys! It ain't all that serious.

    Y'all are sooo bought n paid for...maybe a backbone and sum actual research like an actual reporter is supposed to do and present UNBIASED facts and findings etc. This is just a different script with the same message given to you to present to ur audience. Shameful!Therefore creating the narrative that one lone man with no connection whatsoever to these 6 HEALTHY young adults and managed to do sum navy seal stealth combat mission type stuff n just go to town and BRUTALLY take them all down one by one AND decided to just mosey on by these last 2 skinny young girls that had their door open, looked him in his eyes and decided, Meh, I think I'll just leave a cpl witnesses to call 911 on me as I float above the snow to my own vehicle drenched in blood and low n behold no trace of the trail to boot. Ya know cuz he's programmed as this highly knowledgeable and clearly qualified killer to have done what he did in the what, 8 minutes or so they said to literally stab which takes time in and of itself...but wasn't smart enuf to not take his own vehicle let alone drive all over the area in a light color, stand out vehicle where tons of camera's are absolutely everywhere and he would know this. Everyone knows this. In a college town to one of the most busiest known party houses in the area, knowing that there are many ppl there all the time. Definitely, would have been at least 4 minimum. Which all it would have taken is a scream to alert someone to call 911. Then he's caught. C'mon ppl stop listening to mainstream paid scripts that are given to them.
    The TH-cam podcasts show the actual things and point out things u would never know listening to stuff like this. Already putting this guy on death row basically and condemning him as guilty. Some have started to cut back I see on making him out as this monster as Nancy Grace once quoted. Saying omgoshhhhh he stalked the victims and followed them on social media. Was in the area 12 times prior just sitting there watch them LOL...how y'all feel at the 1st hearing when the prosecution had to admit that ALLLLLL that turned out to be 100% UNTRUE!!! Watch it for yourself. Just wait til u see everything else that is UNTRUE. Why do actually think they have used a gag order...they have NOTHING. The whole investigation is a sham and there's waaaay more going on behind the scenes then u realize. That is the scariest part about it. To think someone could be 100% innocent and get targeted to take the fall and go on death row and be killed for something to be covered up, that goes way above our pay grade folks. What if it was you, your child, relative, husband etc etc etc and they were innocent being framed? Not only condemned by the Court and also by ppl globally.
    This Howard guy writes a book (FOR MONEY PURPOSES N PUBLICITY) saying he is guilty as sin and there hasn't even been a trial yet. DISGUSTING!☠️
