does this work without extra sealing? i mean like when fixing water pipe they use sealing rubber tape to seal it. just wonder because i want to use it for real
I'm sorry, the way that these are designed the air box will not be watertight
@@Lucky8 thank you for the answer so no need to be water tight but still can be used then. that makes sense :) if not, it wouldnt be good for the rain.

Did you notice any difference in engine sound after installing the snorkel?
Did you car have 4, 6, or 8 cyl?
It does change the sound a little bit because the air in take is right up by the window now. I have run this snorkel on the 4 cyl and 6 cyl
There is no snorkel for the 8
My factory installed snorkel broke the top mount at top of pillar. It looks plastic. Is there a metal replacement piece? The mount/bracket in the video looks metal.
I lost mine also. We're just going to start stocking extras. Other than running a screw into it. I don't know of a good solution.

This doesn't make sense. There is no OEM raised air intake for V8 (or snorkel) due to the fact that air intakes are from the left and right side of the car.
You are correct there is no snorkel. We are chasing down manufactures to make one but as of now, no luck.
I heard that it's always Ned's fault.
We'll see how he does on our next adventure
