I do like the contrast between the other elementals, and this one. While the others seem violent, and malevolent, this guy seems more gentle, and docile by comparison, as evidenced by carrying an entire ecosystem on it's body.
It's got a whole ecosystem to take care of, so it knows it can't be throwing itself into huge events of mass destruction. There are rare species on board!
"The others are quick and volatile. I have no such hatred for the humans. My brothers may toil and curse them for destroying the earth, I am the earth. What they do only hurts themselves, and when they eventually kill themselves, I will still remain. And I will remain long after my brothers have left me. I am in no rush for extinction."
For anyone interested, the elementals sorted by the best approximate size would be: 1. Earth Elemental - 1000ft (about 10x the height of an average pine tree) 2. Water Elemental - 2000ft (a little over twice as tall as the length of a 900ft long ship) 3. Wind Elemental - 3600ft (about 9x as tall as an average 400ft skyscraper) 4. Fire Elemental - 98,000ft (about 7x the largest volcano on earth, Mauna Kea. I use this height because the "trees" next to the elemental are so small that they look like a flat surface) Note that these approximations are based on the scale of the surroundings of each model, I estimate that I could be off by as much as 1/10th of my observations.
I really love that you did this and somehow managed to use tiny throwaway details as data. Ignore the other bozo who said the nerd emoji. But isn’t the water element crushing the titanic, which has a known length? Edit: some research helped me find cool comparative scales for these measurements: planes cruise between 30k and 42k feet, which isn’t even halfway up on the fire elemental. The Karman line, at 330k feet above sea level, is where outer space officially begins. That’s only ~3.4 times higher than the fire elemental. Imagine being that big and close to space and how that would look on the planet

This is my favorite of the elementals. Using a gorilla as inspiration for an earth elemental works really well because of the atmosphere and symbolism of being simultaneously mighty but gentle, capable of being dangerous but just as likely to be peaceful. Big imposing elemental for a big imposing animal pose, I love it!
An ice elemental with little creatures from the ice age in it and little ice climbers doing a expedition for them would be neat. Good work on this one it's my favorite!
Everything about his videos are brilliant. The way he talks, the way he edits, the way he captions his chapters, etc etc. I love the projects n this is definitely one of my favorite channels🩷🩷🩷🩷
This was definitely my favourite of your Elemental Tetralogy. I swear, it has nothing to do with me favouring earth out of all the elements, nor my love of giant, lumbering monsters.
