Definitely more. I agree with the points you made about the inconsistencies in the gameplay in BF4. With the new breed of FPS's coming out I really think Dice needs to address these issues before Battlefront comes out.
Finally somebody says something about the in game chat. It is horrible.. I'm still on ps3 unfortunately. But I wasn't sure other systems had this issue. I wish we had something like a party chat.. well we have one but you can't use it while playing a game lol. Almost useless. Anyway good commentary couldn't agree with you more :)

Stone, I still notice lots of glitches that I even experienced in the beta. I play on XboxOne & played the beta on the 360. There's the limbo glitch where you spawn into a game but have no ammo & your character doesn't move along with the fact that you cannot redeploy means that you gotta back out of the server & rejoin. There's the black texture glitch which if you fall from a certain height on certain maps where there's black textures creeping into the foreground. There are still 1-hit kill bugs b/c of the way that the netcode works in 100ms updates...that's just not good enough! Combined with the fact that they regressed the feature to squad-up before matches like in BF3 is just a disgrace.
The game, however, normally runs really well 95% of the time. But once you encounter them, it's quite a nuisance.
Here's what happened:
Dice: The games not ready, we need to delay it
EA: No dice (pun intended).
Dice: It's gonna be buggy, we haven't had time to patch stuff
EA: But we want people's moneyyyy! Those dumb motherfuckers will buy it anyway!
Scene.
I just played bf3 again for 3 hours straight and holy shit that was fun. No bs nades and noob equipment. Guns that actually take skill, better netcode and best hitreg in any game. No noob shit like law active radar or staf shells. Man dice really fucked up with bf4
Stone it seems like every time dice put out a patch for fixes it creates more problems.

stone, u are ABSOLUTELY right. its been since NOV. and i still experience glitches galore. framerate probs, disconnecting issues, and i was SO looking 4ward to air superiority... then i found out they last for maybe 10 minutes at most? and PLEASE EA, take away the auto AA's.... there's no reason 2 get in a stealth jet anymore.
I think you had it right from the beginning. The fact BF4 reaches out on so many platforms, pretty much all of the systems both next and old gen, it extremely hurts the servers and assisting all the systems equally. Each system has different problems and need to be taken care of system by system. It takes awhile to get right.
ya exactly, it is unfortunate we have so many problems right now but hopefully by the next one we have it exact and working good
most of the problems stated in video i haven't experienced but im on a different console so far the only problem i have had is people die seconds after they are supposed to on there screen and dies when they should on mine
Battlefield 4 is still broken, probably more on PC, you can build the same two exact systems and it might work perfect on one and not on another. DICE needs to get there shit together. This time it's not EA's fault.
I hear you Stone. I play on the X1 and it comes and goes. Some nights it runs perfect, others I can hardly get into a match, have a firefight that isn't absolutely plagued by rubber banding or the game just flat out crashes. I had none of these problems in BF3, and now I'm just going to take a break from BF4 for awhile. I'm just not having that much fun with it like this... Hopefully the next game will turn out better, though I'm thinking I'll (unfortunately) be a bit more cautious before buying it.

Could not agree with you more Stone, I love the potential that BF4 represents, but much fixing must take place. Also, the hit register could use a lot of tweaking.

Once in sometime halfway through January I played part of the single player and that stupid mission whose name I don't remember which starts with a huge and crappy cutscene I had clipped through the frickin ground and was swimming in water underneath it
I've been playing on my PS4 and I'm still baffled at how glitchy the game is still. I played a few matches the other night and I was getting constant frame-rate stutters and freezes (even with my internet rocking 60mb download/10mb upload). I'm just surprised that there is still no pre-game lobbies or better search options for finding matches (chat only/region/etc).
BF4 is great when it works but it's not consistent enough for me. Until it becomes polished (hopefully before a BF5), to my own chagrin, I'll be playing CoD: Ghosts.

YOLO in the battlefield was the whole reason I sub you. I do agree Bf4 is glitchy and it doesn't seem like they'll be fixing it anytime soon. Good luck with your future endeavors.
BF4 is a rush title thats why, but you can try YOLO style on Battlefield Bad Company 2, its less glichy, and teamplay is great.
Totally agree with everything you said. BF3 was so much better, in the fact that you could squad up before going into games, team chat worked well, and servers could be rented and matches lasted more than 10 minutes! Why would they not carry over these features?! I think we are just as confused as the rest of the battlefield fans who are being left in the dark about all of EA/Dice's decision making. Smh.

I hate when I'm in a helicopter as a gunner and my pilot bails and nothing is wrong with the helicopter leaving me spamming A trying to get into the pilot seat before crashing. lol

I hate it too. I'm sick of all the complete morons grabbing the helicopter or jet and just flying to the spot they want to be then bailing. Those are the kind of people I genuinely wish would stop playing BF.

Battlefield is pretty good on the PS3. I haven't crashed once since Second Assault came out, some glitches here and there, but in total I'm enjoying it! Don't know why there hasn't been done more fixes to the game or if they're working on it now?

I completely agree with all the points you made in this video and this is why i have played squad deathmatch by myself so much cause theres no reason to try and get in a squad when ur gonna kill ur friend not knowing its him and hes gonna get pissed that he got killed after u invite him or whatever have you, ya know?
whoah that gameplay. On pc with 48+ people you get wrecked immidiately when out of cover for more then 5 secs. TV everywhere

How do you look straight up while you were piloting the chopper?? Like a free view type thing..?
I play on ps3, and bf4 has many problems. I see lots of potential, but sometimes instead of playing a game for fun, it's more frustrating than anything. Good video as usual stone
I love this game, but I have to enjoy it while understanding these lingering problems will be a mainstay of it all. Twice now I have had an issue where I will get in a game and it thinks I am a first time layer. All my guns and upgrades locked. I have to reset my xbox to actually get them all back again. It sucks so damn bad.
after the new update my game didn't crash... yet. before that every second game ended and didn't get saved on battlelog. Playing on PC
I have only three problems with BF4.
1. Bad hitreg.
2. Squad rush game mode.
3. They destroyed my aek.
Got the game on release day, haven't been able to play much of it due to the glitches just making me want to play something else.
It's the most difficult game to support ever. It has 5 platforms. That means 5 different teams coding, that means 5 different teams testing, recoding again. Final testing, rolling it out. Matching all patch content across platforms. More stats have never been recorded in a game, all these have to sync. I can imagine the pain they have to go through.
I play BF4 on PS4 & although we don't experience all of the exact same glitches on PlayStation, we still have our own set of technical issues & glitches. I feel the same way you do because I love the Battlefield series, I love the premise of it's multilayer combat with its epic scale & multitude of ways to play. But in at least half the matches I play the game just feel "off" somehow. Sometimes I feel cheated when I lose a firefight for no apparent reason, other times I feel like I only won because my opponent was experiencing a similar technical problem giving me the advantage. I love the game & the series, I'm just wondering if DICE was a bit too ambitious this time around.
This is the last BF title I'll be buying - I've been buying every single one, since BF2.
GG EA, GG BF for me - had enough of their problems, especially their fucking netcode shit, that used to be a problem, but now it's completely on another level of shit.
Beside the glitches, bf4 is really fun, sometimes the glitches leave for some funny moments though
Things im hoping for is that rented servers on consolls would arrive soon and that u can create a squad in the menus like Bf3
My bf4 works well had glitches before but now it runs without any problems on the ps4 btw
even now, i still can't see fences, just a moment ago entire players disappeared. i get stuck CONSTANTLY and on certain maps i still experience violent shaking..... there are more but this is ridiculous. i haven't played a game this glitchy so long after it's release.
Dice seems to be aiming its focus on PC. It's seems most of the major and some smaller issues have been fixed.

I don't get any problems on pc sounds like I'm lying but I don't the worst is when I spawn and for like a minute I have no weapons or punkbuster randomly kicks me from a game, ppl are always complaining bout netcode but I think it runs awesome considering it's scale
EA made dice release the game before it was complete so they could compete with cod and the console release, dice said they estimated 6 more months to make it perfect. Now they have to work those six months and only be able to fix it through updates
Don't leave battlefield titans all isn't looking great for me please just stick to what you so best otherwise one of my fav you tubers

Honestly, I have to agree with you. Mechanics and graphics-wise, the game is amazing. But sometimes it's just the little things that make a game great. For example, games still in huge block-y pixels can be extremely fun to play. But in Battlefield's case, the small details ruin the gameplay. (Examples of that would be running into each other, surfaces that are extremely sticky, connecting to servers failing, etc...). I play on Xbox One, and I completely understand what you are talking about, Stonemountain. Other than that, the game is pretty fun but nothing compared to Titanfall ^_^

Your remark about latency is not a problem for battlefield it's just the way the game works. It's not meant to be as responsive as CoD BF is it's own game with a totally different feel that your gonna have to get used to.
I'm not having as much fun in BF4 as in BF3. Like the maps better in bf3 then bf4
i love bf but at the moment i can honestly say i had alot more fun on bf3 i thought that was a brilliant game, im on ps4 and i still get rubberbanding on cq large maps which makes flying a jet impossible!! still some issues dice!! :-(
BF4 on pc has dedicated servers and is less glitchy than console because of the bigger audience. PC MASTER RACE!

I have both. And if anything, PC is worse. Sure, the graphics are better, but console just feels... Natural.
i rarely have problems .. the server searching is because of the recent release and ongoing release of second assault. Platoons will be coming very quickly, dice already mentioned this and the rent a server isn't up because of the current problems, they want to solve the main problems first before putting up rental servers that don't work and cause more problems, as for me i play on PlayStation 4, and i don't have that much issues with Bf4, it glitches sometimes, but still a hell of a game

I've been playing Battlefield 4 since release on PC and at the worst, I've run into very minor bugs. I guess I should be fortunate? Every way you look, people are complaining about the game and its many bugs and glitches but I haven't run into any of them. In my nearly problem free time playing, I have to say I've enjoyed my time playing and I'm pretty disappointed to see so many players having problems.
the chat is the same on PS4, you have to be in a party to hear each other properly, can't believe they took away the ability to squad up before joining a game, they removed a lot of the good stuff about BF3 and then made what was bad even worse (netcode)...Well played DICE you killed my favourite game of all time :(

I agree, the heli superiority is totally shit and they need to fix it. Remember the game has about 1 or 3 more years. Give it time and they will fix it.

I am on ps3, and I cant play more than like 2-3 rounds without crashing, and the pregame menu..? Class configuration only when ingame(the battlelog option is unreliable), and as mentioned the netcode (100ms,wtf?).
The game is perfect, for trolls, campers and glitchers, NOT teamwork!
I am like a veteran since the first release(- some releases) and this is the worst, most anoying, makes me feel sad.

Whenever I play on Hainan Resort (Xbox One), I keep glitching through the ground. My Internet connection is perfect. I can move and shoot but I just keep glitching through the ground. Does anyone else have this problem?
Stone .. I am a chopper whore from BF2 and BF3 and I am good at it. But BF4 is a whole different story and I have given up hopes that DICE will balance the game and fix the chopper. And since Second Assault came out it has gotten even worse and the dreaded TV Glitch is back worse than ever (Where you shoot the TV and it blows your own chopper up). It took soooo long for DICE to fix that in BF3 so I am not holding my breath that it will be fixed soon. And soon they are bringing out MORE anti-air weapons and slam-like mines made specifially against choppers. Yeah great .... that is what the game needs .. even more AA weapons for little run and gun spray and pray noobs. So sick and fucking tired of getting flipped upside down from rockets and the Gyro not working. I would honestly rather it kill me instantly than flip me, and then get killed by my own chopper after I bail. So annoying.
you are lucky those are your only issues for bf4. i play on pc and that shit is out of control.
The thing i hate the most on ps3 is when u have a gun with iron sites it never loads in or even ur equipment and weapon errrr
I agree with you I don't even know what some of the new maps are because it tell me to buy the dlc but I already have the dlc & try playing the game with know mini map & cant see how much ammo or heath you have that's what happens to me every day but the game is still fun to play
When BF4 works. It's great but no way I'm getting premium. CR was boring, air superiority is cool but like you said, same damn short maps. There's so many little bugs... I love it but at the same time dislike it. There are so many possibilities and this gives to the game a lot of fun but the balance, the bugs, the Ugh. I'm stuck in that thing where I'm like : It's so buggy but I'll play it some more and decide if I should return the game but at the same time. Well, it's a lot of fun. I am very ambivalent on that one.

I am looking forward to yolo in titanfall but I still will be preffering bf4, despite its issues its the squad element, I like working as a team. I can see the appeal of titanfall and I cant wait to get my hands on it, but bf4 is my ray of sunshine😊

They really need rent a servers if any for new consoles, I miss the 24/7 modes from bf3. On top of that the server browser is messed up I think, sometimes I find only one or two games that are in session and then other times there are absolutely no servers. It really pisses me off because I have china rising and I can't even play it. I'm in ps4 btw
Ps4 Is pretty good I think the only issues left are the net code but that is only an issue on the new maps... pretty good they fixed in game chat with the squad and chat for group is good I can use my px22 USB flawlessly I came on board cause of your battlefield Yolo if you go to other games I might not watch as much just keep I got my honest opinion.
I have no friends so I don't miss the team play. I'm just sick of OHK's (one hit kills) and sluggish controls in BF4 pc.
PC no communication issues at all, but everything else is agreed does need some sorting

You think that 40 minutes is a decent game length? I play competitive CS GO and those last up to 90 minutes. I love the long matches, you really invest in it and also if you have people who have mics and actually talk, which is always nice. Also, I don't think that EA have handled release well, as per usual, many of their recent games have been buggy and glitchy and Titanfall is one of the only examples of an EA game that isn't glitchy as hell (although EA hasn't really done anything in terms of development, they're just publishing it). Also, I really want you to play on PC, that would be awesome if you'd do that with us stone! (I'm certain that someone would gift Titanfall to you on Origin.
Looking forward to your Titanfall video's! But I think in the end battlefield is the game with the biggest fun factor... especially when they get all those bugs fixed....

Uh... DICE doesn't host any PC servers, all the servers are user-operated. The same can be said for any game which is actually optimized for PC.
As for the issues you've had regarding joining friends and being put on the opposite team, that's just team balance. It's basic stuff.
I think bf4 was too ambitious. I believe if it took out some excessive features it would run a lot smoother, and i would prefer my game to play better than it looked. There is no excuse for the offline features however like playing with friends, voip etc.

I'd have to say that bf4 probably would work best for pc. I'm a pc player with 200+ hours, and its plenty enjoyable to me, works pretty good for the most part. New consoles are going to be iffy from the start.
Dont know about the rest of the PS4 community, but I havent had that many problems with the game. Sure it crashes every once in a while but nothing more than you'd expect from a relatively new game. The game is entirely playable and for the majority enjoyable. I feel like the PC community is having more issues, hardware compatibility issues maybe?

The biggest problem for me is the maps. The only maps I enjoy are the Second Assault ones. I play the PC version and yes it's buggy, bullets still feel like like they do double damage, servers lag and drop connection, crashes. The thing is though that this is so frequent now is most games that I just don't care anymore. Yes it pisses me off but there's no point complaining about it, just let them know their game is still buggy and shitty and then let it be. If they fix it they fix it, if not then screw their next game. But the BIGGEST issue I had were the original and china rising maps, they are just so boring. They feel nothing like a battlefield game. The maps in BF3 were much better in my opinion, BF2 had the best maps, but BF4 felt like it had more CoD related maps, just a bit bigger. I mean look at Dawnbreaker - are you seriously telling me that map has jets? Have you SEEN the air space in that map? You barely have room to move through the fricken buildings before you have to do a 180 and do it again. What is the point of having jets on that map? The maps are by far the worst thing about it. Second assault has given me reason to play again though I'm actually enjoying all of those maps (except firestorm, but firestorm is still better than any of the BF4 original maps). But yeah, can't believe how poorly handled this game has been. Released in October and still having issues. Wow.

I downloaded a huge update for battlefield. Why? Because I have up on the game recently and wanted to give it a retry...
I played the game and noticed a huge difference. It looked and ran smoother. 40 minutes into the first match my console freezes. I turned it off and went to play Cod. I take another huge update because I haven't played Cod Ghost either.
The update finishes; I go to multilayer and it looks like a freemium game. I turn off my console now I'm here. All the games this year have been total crap.

I think DICE (or maybe it was EA) just wanted to have BF4 out before Ghosts, idk why, probably because of sales and so on.. But if they would've waited a little longer and fixed and smoothed out the game a little longer, it would be way better! >:( Ghosts sorta sucked anyway( since mw3 they all started getting worse, so the Battlefield franchise wouldnt have had anything to worry about. Well, i guess they just fucked up. -_-'
