Id like to see the RCF against the Alto 4015 im assume the 15" Alto would be lounder than the the 12". Probably still not match the RCF but for the price if theyre close in sound quality to me id go with the alto.
difference in sonic quality. For the most part in my country through normal usage many have damaged the high frequency driver. Rcf will keep on going. I personally have jbls and ev speakers and no issues with high frequency drivers burning out when after extensive use for 3 years
If for budged, Alto, but sound bad. Go with RCF, you never go wrong with RCF
Послушал на смартфоне, сразу определил что лучше RCF, послушал в компьютерные мониторы: На первой композиции басы и бас-барабан звучит однозначно выразительнее в 412 чем в RCF912, а во второй композиции наоборот. Если обобщить кардинальной разницы в RCF я не заметил, хотя он чуть шире звучат. В том смысле, что если и лучше RCF то на 10% а не на 30 или 50%. По своему опыту Alto достаточно не плохи для своих задач. У меня лично в арсенале TS115е и TS212 - хорошо справляются с простыми задачами, на дискотеку и кавер-бенд однозначно RCF712е. Не знаю насколько улучшили 400-серию, но то что 1 ручка это большой минус. Если нужен прям звук качетсвеннее и звуковое давление, то лучше смотреть в сторону (Если брендRCF) - 732/932 или 745, NX32/45. А так Alto, как второй комплект вполне себе. Или если нет больших средств и нужны вменяемые колонки можно брать Alto.

I have the TS412’S and I was disappointed upon initial listen. Volume was low, sounded muddy and dead. However, INSTALL THE APP and open up the EQ. Change the settings to your liking and TURN THE VOLUME UP to 3 o’clock BARE MINIMUM. OMG…went from dead to ALIVE and sound great. I’m shocked by the sound quality of these inexpensive speakers. They hit way above their price range.

You need to open up the alto volume gain on these as they are using 2ohm drivers. These things just keeping getting louder. Don't think because it's quiet at 12oclock that that's it because the gain structure is completely different to other makes and the previous Altos.

Your spot on. Once you open up the Alto to at least 3oclock they start to shine. At 5oclock game over. I believe Alto designed a safe space for users because so many ppl blew up their tweeters from whatever or however they used them. Just because a box can get loud that doesn't mean it will function properly with poor gain structure. It will fail eventually. I've seen so many dj's click their signal, blow up their speakers then wonder what happen or blame the maker for poor quality, etc. TS415's will do 200 heads easily. I've already done it, lol.
Do you use the line or the mic when using a mixer as I find the line level is very low
@@deanothomas1865 always line buddy. Completely wrong gain/ impedance for music using mic . They are plenty loud enough I find and with subs make a decent system. Just open up the gain

I think if the Alto's are way cheaper, then they are holding up very good, clear sound.
The RCF are clearer, but with a little EQ the Alto would be as good sonically I think. What's the price difference? Us part time hobbyists need to know

I didn't perceive any difference between the two speakers perhaps and the recording which doesn't allow you to listen to the smallest details. in your opinion?
A good pair of headphones or a quality full range system and you can hear differences bud.
Alto seems to have more deep bass, RCF more mids.
I have the Alto TS 412 and I can tell you first hand that they are the most bass cabinets that I've ever owned. The four series really exceeded my expectations. More alto content on my channel. Great review. 😎

I have an old twin record turntable which has a built in amplifier which I believe is 125watts per channel with left and right outputs .
Is it possible to plug the left and right channel outputs from the turntable into say active speakers for more wattage or would it damage the active speakers

No sir don't do that. It will damage the active speakers. Those are meant to go straight into a small passive speaker I believe.

hi, did you use an external DAC on these speakers?
Sound was played through a behringer flow8 digital mixer straight to the speakers with no eq. Everything was flat.

Yes It heats up very fast but doesn't get extremely hot.
Unfair comparison .....RCF is one of the pro companies making some of the world's best speakers.

I can tell you it's worth the little bit extra. The sound is a bit more rounded in the video. However in person it's a big difference since audio quality is compromised through so many channels it's going through. Higher volumes will show the better speaker especially when you mic them through a professional sounding mixer, you will notice a big difference in sonic quality. For me, I'd say no. I've got TS415's, QSC 12CP's and Mackie Thump 15a's and I'm always pulling the Alto's first.

@@raulramos8496modern Subwoofers have crossover and low filter built in. You don’t need to waster money on crossovers and eq. You need the eq and crossover when you run separate amps, Alto has the amp with DSP already built in. RCF will sound much better then ALTO and will last much longer (you get what you pay for).

I get loads of comments about my sound
A dj that had rcf speakers ask me how my alto was running with all the low end I showed him he could not believe all the power I had left
He said he was going to look at the altos as he wasn't happy with his low end in the rcfs and said I had a great sound

Idk most ppl are buying these for their business/DJ needs. So what id say is you don't see Dominoes buying Ferraris for their delivery drivers.
@@mightyquinn5135 if you are supplyin dj's on your books that work for your agency yes, but if you are a sole trader its well worth the investment spending that bit extra for quality.
I put the latest rcf 15" subwoofer next to my alto ts15s, and my alto outperformed it, rcf is great stuff, the new alto line is just as good if not better in some aspects
Not really, it's the same price range.
the quality of the components is quite similar, Alto has a 2.5" voice coil woofer, rcf 912 same thing.
