No only one a month now. I ms you everyday i have binged watch you for days Hannah. ...I feel like we are friends and you call and say come over watch me clean are paint are sew. Im so proud of you. ...Have a great spring. Hannah. Take that foot and get a xray. ...
Hello Hannah where you buy your large plant I love plant thank you have a blessed day day this beverly
Your slow spring day out worked my action-packed year
You should leave the screens off the strawberries until after they flower. otherwise, the bees won't be able to pollinate the flowers.
Ahhhhhh thanks for the insight!!
And thank you, for me, as well Lol...!
You're mice live the best life thank you for your kindness
@@hannahleeduggan Just lay chicken wire over it. Bees can get in... birds can't.
I saw someone mix onions with the strawberries so that snails and slugs don't come and eat them because they don't like the smell of onions, Idk how that works for other species but that could work 🤷🏻
If you give the wood a nice stain or oil “meal” after cleaning, and keep that up about every other year, you should avoid issues with it getting too dry and gray in the future.
❤
As a Painter I always say I'll rather only have only a cabin to stain! ❤ I have heavy wood furniture and wood anything. I stain them every couple of years just like you said and seal them.
Definitely! Came here to say the same. Clear sealer to keep the color. I hope your paint was exterior paint. I do love the color against the house. The pond is going to be beautiful this spring and summer.
Hi Hannah, This is my Sister, Barbara and we are in Texas😊
You are so creative. Your brain must never rest thinking of things to try, make or do. I'm old enough to be your Great Grandma but I'm constantly gleaming ideas from your videos to incorporate into my house or land. Since I've found your channel I spend my evenings drawing up plans for projects I want to try the next day (or week since I'm a bit ancient). I've got one in the works now. Your home is lovely, decor, surroundings, colors. Warm, inviting and cozy!! 😊
Hannah in the future collect the algae in a bucket and use as a mulch in the garden around plants. It’s free mulch and supper rich in nutrients! Water it in after placing it in the garden
I made it yesterday - as fertilizer for our flowers and perennials 🙂
That's what I was here in the comments to add! lol
I really like that you take the time to respond to some comments. I know of another channel similar to yours, that I love their content but that basically only talks to their audience at the very end of their videos. It’s nice to see a big creator like you stay in real touch with your community.
Paraaaaaa 😂😂😂😂
@@R.U.T.H.3101 ?
One of the biggest camera tips I have, especially for vloggers, is to stop looking at yourself in the viewfinder. It's hard to get used to, but it will up your content dramatically! The quality increase is already huge and awesome 😍😍
I second this
I truly feel uncomfortable talking to a camera, and talking at a black hole makes it x10 worse, talking to myself makes it easier.
Very true! It's hard to get used to but looking at the lens is so much better for the viewers!
@@hannahleeduggando what makes you comfortable, I don’t mind at all :) the quality is incredible! I noticed immediately and love it!
@@hannahleeduggan apparently the more you do it, the easier it gets :)
My camera tip is to ask Isabel about color grading and LUTS, she seems to really have it dialed in
The pond looks AMAZING!!! And I can’t wait to see how the whole house comes out after the power washing. The natural color of the wood looks great with the green trim. So exciting!
THIS!! When I saw the paint can, my first instinct was dark burnt sienna but that sage green is absolutely to die for next to that beautiful wood color. Hannah’a got a great eye!🙌🏻
Wow you look so clear and more beautiful with the new camera. Everything is so clear. The pond looks great. Your house looks so much younger with the black and grey off it. Talk about makeovers!!
More! More! More! I wasn’t ready for the video to end!
Me too!! 😯🙄
Hahaha I love how you're like "yeah my motorcycle fell on my so I will move a bit slow today" and then decide to paint the window frames of your house :D
The quality of the video is amazing with the new camera! I love the green!! Love you, girly! ❤
I can’t believe you’re not wearing gloves when you’re doing yard work or cleaning the pond 😬 love the paint color trim though 😊
And like the song she played will you plz tell me the song title heart filled with worry something words are not matching in mine
Lupines dont like being transplanted due to their long tap root. However, you could collect seed from your lupines at the cottages and spread them around the backside of the pond. Theyd be pretty with the ferns.
The freshness and nature complement of the green is gorgeous. Pressure washing is giving such a great facelift to the home!
Have you seen Greg whittstock the pond guy. All of his ponds no matter the size are very low maintenance. Maybe you can get an idea from him so you won’t have to do that.
Beautiful images... I can definitely see a difference in the quality of photography/videography with your new camera. Everything is looking great; house, pond, garden, mousies and you are even more beautiful Hannah... Happy Spring! 🌸🌿🍓💚 P.S. love all your jewelry! 💎
To drain your pond… take a long garden hose and put one end in the deepest part of the pond. Take the other end and run it to the lowest part of your property (lower then the pond) and siphon the water out.
This is how I do mine too, I make sure the hose is full of water when I dip it in the pond... or else you may have to suck the lower end to get the flow going 😮😂
I am so old but I never knew that spray washing wood like that would take off the gray. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful life with us.
You might struggle with getting strawberries because fine mesh netting will stop pollinators from getting to the flowers. Netting is def the way to go and you’re on the right track! It might be a good idea to use hardware cloth with larger holes so the bees/bugs can have access. I know this because I’ve made the same mistake trying to stop squirrels from eating all of my strawberries 🤦♀️
I’ll definitely spend some time troubleshooting! Bringing up some good points
Hardware cloth
Okay so I'm just going to say this, I've been watching your videos for a very long time, and have always thought that you were a beautiful human inside and out but I'm here to tell you , that new camera, just shows that even more!! And those blue eyes, sister! Oh my Gosh!!! I absolutely adore your videos and look forward to them every week! They are literally the highlight of my Sunday morning! Sending much love from limestone county Alabama!!
Never lose your raw, honest qualities! HD is good, but your natural personality is what makes you so endearing!
James Taylor told us that the secret to life is enjoying the passing of time.
You, Hannah, appear to be enjoying the passage of time.
You’re getting better from every way we can see.
Thank you for sharing!
Some tips on the camera. If there's a zebra setting, use that to prevent getting over exposed. Set the shutter speed to twice that of your frame rate for a more natural motion blur. You might find this difficult outside in bright light. That's where ND filters come in! You might want to lower your sharpness too. This will reduce the halo effect around some objects. Kinda lowers the "digital-ness" of the image. Look into mist filters and glimmer glass. You're gonna have a blast falling down the camera rabbit hole. Looks good so far!
Thank you so much!!
Second this! Try a black pro mist filter! Gives everything a dreamy, filmy look and helps bloom the highlights so they're not so stark. A quick, easy way to make everything feel cinematic & artistic 😊
These are the tips we need!! Thanks guys
I second this! I’m in love with the pro-mist filter. (If the dreamy look is what you’re going for) I use it for everything I film.
As for the autofocus sound, I guess post-production noise removal or you could try a wireless mic?
Is there also a lens she could get that isn't so close up to her face when she's filming?
Every time i see that spring fed stream im reminded of its potential for feeding a flowing pond. Something deep enough to use as a plunge pool and that you will never need to clean or maintain since the constantly flowing water will keep it flushed clear. All you need to do is locate a suitably scenic portion and do some depth checks with a steel spike to ensure the ground is deep enough for you. Then rent a miniature excavator to dig away material until its the right size for your need. Maybe add some pea gravel to give it a soft base if the present material is too muddy.
LOVE that green! Also didn’t really realize you could power wash the grey off of wood. Well done!!
Try psinting few small rocks like strawberries placing them.out when your plant start blooming birds try for those deter them.later .
That can break the birds beaks the screens are much better but wait for the flowers ect as they need to be pollinated
Ok, yeah.. definitely groovy Hannah! I like the new look! When you’re outside, I can actually FEELthe outside, I can feel the spring season & feel the smell of the dirt & the power washer water & especially feel-see the smell of the pond water. I don’t know how else to explain it.
(Ok, yeah, I’m a bit weird🤪) The crisper picture due to the HD is most definitely cool. And you’re already very good with it, you’ll only get better!😊 Thank you, dear Hannah, for sharing your everyday life with us. I know it’s not always easy, but you have brought so much joy & happiness to so many people, quite literally all over the WORLD! And speaking for myself, you have helped me to survive the toughest 4 years of my long , long life. I honestly didn’t think I would survive the sorrow & pain that has befallen my world, I didn’t have the strength & or the will. But Sunday always happened, every week & I knew that you ( and our sweet West Coast sister too😊) would be here to help me remember how beautiful everyday life is.Your strength has become my strength & for that I am eternally grateful.I hope that you are able to feel the love that we are ALL sending to you.💖🦄🫶🌸🌺🌼💕
These escapes are an oasis for sure. I parcel out my Sunday shows thru the week. Best of luck to you!!❤
WOW !!! The house looks AMAZING ! Love the green on the windows !
We never drained our pond. It was a preformed irregular shape, not huge. We had "feeder fish" in it (generic goldfish that were meant to be eaten by preditor fish). The pond was at least 2 ft deep and we either had a floating heater or something so that it wldnt freeze over. The carbon dioxide and waste gases need the opening to escape so the fish aren't suffocated or poisoned. Come springtime we didn't drain it. The water was already "conditioned" so why start over with treatments, which can kill the fish. Start up the pump and filter. Get a brush on a long handle and scrub at the rocks. Disturb the bottom too. Check the filter and dump the residue in your compost bin or garden. Keep doing that until the bottom is cleaned up and the water is clear. This can be done while you're working on something else.
Yes, if you were able to keep water running through it constantly you will never need to drain it!!!
Looks like her pump had not been operating for a while she was traveling
@@joannego856 I was under the impression that it was off all winter. I've missed some videos so don't know if there are/were fish in it.
THIS!! Disturbing the water cycle and draining the pond can actually just lead to bigger algae blooms in the future. There are NATURAL ways to combat algae. (:
I absolutely ADORE the new mic quality??!!! so much more immersive
The video quality is amazing!
Put some copper fittings in the pond skimmer it will keep the algea down
Ah there it is! Hannah's Sunday videio!
It’s my Monday Hannah video 😂
Here in Melbourne Australia it’s just gone midnight. But I’m up writing cute little notes to hide in my kid’s suitcase for her first school camp tomorrow. Just like Mum did for me, of course she probably did it earlier in the evening… probably 😉 And she certainly didn’t have Hannah videos to keep her company!
I’m so lucky 🥰
Thanks for the vid!
❤️🌈💜
That's such a cute idea and lovely that you've continued the tradition. Hi from Brisbane :)
Reading that reminded me my mom used to do the same thing when I was a kid. She passed away and I'd forgotten all about those cute surprise letters. Thank you, I'm really happy for that unlocked memory you unknowingly gifted me ❤
The green is terrific. FYI the strawberries need pollination I think so you may need a wider screening or to leave the screens off until the plants start fruiting.
I LOVE SUNDAYS BECAUSE OF YOUUU❤❤
Same, sister! Same!
Once you get the house washed off then it needs Thompson's water seal applied. Can't stress how important it is to seal that siding back up and it will need doing regularly.
Yep!
I honestly didn’t see anything wrong with just using your phone. Seems so much more practical to me.
Your neighbor’s doggie coming to great you was just the sweetest 🥰
Love the way power washing made the wood looks, get some neem oil and treat (oil paint) it doesn’t really change the color but it condition and protect the wood.
Great job with the pond, my question is what happened to the fish?
same quastion ! during the whole video i was like ??? where are the carps ??? And no one seemed to comment on it until you
Maybe they didn’t survive the winter?
Olympic Deck Cleaner would be better for your house bc powerwashing can cause the water to penetrate the wood. Then seal it with a clear toner or semi-transparent. Thats some beautiful wood and it willl be even more beauriful for years to come with some good quality products.❤
I was thinking that a pressure washer might be slightly corrosive. Not based on experience, just a feeling.
@@reesemorgan2259 when I think of corrosion I think more of rust. Pressure washing is wonderful for non porous materials. But wood is more porous so you need to be careful with cleaning and weatherproofing. My husband used to be in the biz so I have a little knowledge in that regard.♥️
Is it ok if you let it dry super well?
@@amiesparkle00 only time will tell
We have cedar shake siding and have power washed it once every 10 years (Rochester, NY). You did the right thing getting it down to the cleaned wood. Sealing it with a clear stain is a big job but will help with harsh winters and algae growth from tree shade. Good call on the green trim. The sky blue trim was pretty but now it's fresh. 💚
And Hannah dressed like Little House on the Prairie - cool
I'm watching on a big screen and you look maaaarvelous!!
Make sure you paint a sealant on your house to protect the wood from rot and pestilence.
Yep!
The camera has upped the quality of your videos so much. You already had the most beautiful cinematic shots but now the qaulity of the camera matches the creative vision and it is stunning. (also a lot of people mentioned not to look at the viewfinder but honestly I think its fine sometimes its uncomfortable to have vloggers staring into my soul haha)
A couple of camera tips from a former professional photographer 🤗 For the type of content that you make in which you like showing more of the surroundings and also have it feel less like the camera is so "in your face" what works best are wide angle lenses. A 28mm or 24mm, an 18mm even. And since you're doing a lot of hand held shots, you'd really benefit from a camera stabilizer, they're called gimbals. It's going to make your shots super clean and steady even when you're moving around a lot and it's also a lot more confortable to hold than a camera or a regular tripod. You could try the ones from DJI, which aren't very expensive and the quality of which is really good. Hope this helps! ❤
Your subscribers have come through will some very helpful suggestions. Especially: treating the house siding once you have pressure washed it as well as not covering the strawberries until the bees have pollinated the plants.
Mr. Hardware has a TH-cam channel with very good advice about pumping out the pond. Look at his pallets and you’ll find what you need.
You are doing a great job. You are intuitive and a hard worker.
Don’t worry about that new camera getting the close ups. You being you natural self is just fine.
Yep! Have to let the wood dry out before sealing it!
Hi, I have a U HD TV. Having that extra Def. IS awesome, I'm just a old great papa, and I'm enjoying your channel. The flowers look awesome. LOOKS great.

Nothing more adorable than a dog who wags so hard its body rocks with it.
I actually prefer the iphone videos, the colors are more vibrant and it feels more intimate!
Hannah! Don’t power wash your siding, it can damage it by forcing water under the surface causing mold/damage in and underneath the siding!
It can be cleaned with a solution of water and mild detergent with a soft brush, sponge or cloth and rinse residue with garden hose. Best of luck 💜
Sounds legit ..
I've never heard this... I know several people who are all about power washing their siding every few years...
I personally think you are knocking your filming out the park sister ❣️🙏
The green trim is beautiful! The pond is clean & peaceful & the strawberry box is covered 👍 Great work Hannah 🌿🍓🌿🪴🌿💚🌿 The dog visit was sweet!
Love that the dog always comes to say hello
The pressure washing was so satisfying to watch, it looks so good!!
I absolutely love how you keep your self so busy with your properties
This camera is so much better and professional than using your cell phone. Good JOB!❤❤❤
The green is just damn perfect. ❤
I love seeing the before and afters of just like the little simple things that you do you are so creative and I'm so glad that I stumbled across your channel randomly during 2020 and I've been watching for the last 4 years you're very inspiring and DIY and cultivating and planting is something that you've gotten me more into I currently live in an apartment kind of like you did when you first started and I've been thinking lately about starting my own personal journey I have this dream of having a little cottage like Miss honey from Matilda and having it surrounded by a whole bunch of flowers and just seeing your pond update you did today, I love how you put the plants from your property surrounding so that it adds a little bit more definition like you're so creative dude I wish nothing but the best for you keep up the hard work you definitely are a woman that I look up to thank you for sharing your journey❤
Hannah, please please please take advice about the pond. You’re coming out of winter and your pond is wanting to set up its beneficial bacteria to sustain life, unsure if you’ve got any fish in there still? So it looks green as you’ve got an algae bloom as it warms up, there’s debris and nutrients in the pond etc, please don’t keep cleaning your pond as your fish and critters need the cycled bacteria (which takes good while) to get going and sustain the life. Please read about the nitrogen cycle and cycling ponds and all that good stuff 🙏🏻 new camera looks awesome, maybe do a Casey Neistat and wear sunnies until you get happy with not looking in the view finder
Absolutely love the new green color 😊 >>
Thank you!!! Me too!
Hi Hannah, from a professional power washer/stainer! The house looks amazing! Great job! a clear coat of an oil based stain will help to protect your home/wood long term as well as keep it from greying! Love love love your videos 🤍🙏🏽
Will be!! Thanks (:
There is no such thing as too much pressure washing content, that was SO SATISFYING to watch!! Also love the TTPD listens, but does anyone know how Hannah doesn't get copyright claims for the song clips in her vids? I know nothing about YT, but I just hear so many other creators talking about not being able to feature things in their videos but Hannah seems to get along just fine?? Love this so much, keep it up ♥♥
I love that blue and white coffee mug!
Who would have thought ponds took so much effort!
The green trim is so much better! I love it! Now I want you to paint the entire front door green. Now I'm inspired to start doing some projects today. Thanks for the kick in the pants!
My Sunday morning routine is to sleep in a little, wake up and watch Hannah. Never fails to get me motivated for the day/week
Helpful tip from one gardener to another. Paint red rocks and place them in that bed now. When berries appear, birds thinks they are rocks! Much love 💙
That can also break the birds beaks 😢 great for gardeners not so much for the poor birdies the nets are safe and don’t do any harm 🫶
Oh my, I always thought that house was about to crumble any minute because of the outside being rotten, and it looks so good!
Best news ever! I am so happy, not for the image but for your sound! Your Iphone sound was a pain... 1M - congrats!
Your new camera actually brings out your natural beauty, I can really see the blue in your eyes and your flawless skin tone! Thank you for sharing your videos every week, I’m a forever fan ❤
The ending was so therapeutic
The green windows are amazing
So that's what the big difference was in the intro! I thoroughly enjoyed it and I think you did awesome on your first attempt.
The green on the windows looks amazing and the cleaned siding makes the house so much prettier
Pressure washed house looks amazing!!
Both Indoor & outdoor is super clear now. Vid is amazing. My dad was a huge cam enthusiast, I would like to see the cam you are using.
I love using both a camera and a phone, often the best thing to use is whatever is in hand and charged!
Someone may have stated the obvious already, but if not, you don't need the pump to pump the water from the pond into the stream. You just need to put the output end of the hose in the stream and the input end of the hose in the pond slightly higher than the output end of the hose and then gravity and suction will take all of the water out of the pond for you without use of the pump.
the vlog was more chill & calm than usual, keep it going ❤
The pressure washing is so satisfying! Looks great!!
Wow the outside of the house that you started with the pressure washer makes the house look like really warm and it suits it better
the power washing and paint on the house looks INCREDIBLE
Perhaps you haven't found the lens on your new camera yet, because it looks like you're looking at something off to the side and not at "us."
Love what the power wash is doing to your house, great color! And painting the window frames green is so much better than the blue.
Ah, the pond! Looking lovely. Where did the fish go?
Great video, calming and satisfying to watch.☺️
Hannah, it's a good idea to border your strawberries. As a kid, my Mom planted strawberries as a, kind of, groundcover. They grew and began spreading out, to a ridiculous extent!
Also, how did you keep the moss from clogging your water pump?
You continue to amaze me with your creativity and project planning! In a world where many people in your generation waste their time playing video games, it's truly a gift to watch you every week.😊
Yay, your back home. I love it when we are in your home. It’s one of my fav places to be!
If you wanna do the windows, you might have to use paint remover, I had the same issue, but i love the green!
Also, strawberries after around the first year, you wanna start planning the strawberries runners because they die off after a year or two, youll slowly get less and less before they die off. (You normally get 2 years or so.)
Also, with the strawberries, you might wanna make the screen switchable with nets because strawberries will go rotten if they get too hot! 🍓🍓
Also, you ever thought about fish for the pond. I'll help with alge❤❤
Also, be careful with your foot. the camera looks grate and it's always a learning process!😊
So pretty and peaceful
I make TH-cam videos in a similar spirit as you and I’m cheering you on learning a new camera!! Admire and love that you show your process and beginnings with the new camera instead of thinking it has to be totally figured out or perfect before you jump into it! Highly recommend TH-cam channels that share about cinematography tricks and tips. I found that when I switched to a nicer camera I also needed to start learning about color grading and pace (like some shots look so much better slowed down a bit, especially b-roll). Your videos are amazing regardless and your audience love you for you so no matter what you do, you can’t fail! Sending love from my little corner of the world to yours ❤
Beauitful as always love the videos im from Ontario Canada
Beautiful lady in a beautiful place make us happy with beautiful videos thank you so much dear ❤❤
47 projects in one video. Hannah "Yes please" :) (Everything looks GREAT!)
Every one of your videos, is a breath of fresh air. I love seeing the notifications that tell me you’ve posted, I snuggle up and watch you in your works and im filled with joy and inspiration. As a woman, living the life you do with minimal help on the day to day, I hope to be as resilient and creative as you when my dream homestead comes my way. Best of luck in this coming season.
I mean this in the best way (because it validates me, as I say the same thing to myself hundreds of times per day), but we need an "I don't know" count in this video 😂
😂😂😂
I simply love u and all the hard work you do. Love your channel thank you Donna
ove you and all the hard work you do.
My Virgo moon could watch the pressure washing all day! The outcome is so satisfying and I LOVe the green trim! And how clean the pound is. Spring cleaning is so satisfying and feels like such a fresh start 🌱💚☀️
I'd love to see the whole house pressure washed & window frames repainted, so satisfying to me! But the pond cleaned up & planting is also very satisfying too 😂😊
Better seal your house after power washing
or it will start rotting 🥺
Yep!
Where are the fishes from the pond in the winter? 🤔🥰
I think she said something got them last winter, some critter that likes fish
Oh no! They are expensive! That's sad.
Your videos always been so relaxing for me and I love that you’re using the camera now. Everything so much clearer.😮
