Praise God for the Robertson Family who care enough to give their time to the media to not only make people laugh, but to take the time to tell the truth about their past and about how Jesus delivered them. They show that they love and care enough for people not to hide the truth but to preach to people to repent and turn to God. God Bless the Robertson Family.
I just started watching this show by surfing channels and I immediately fell in love with this family. I pray that the Lord will keep them grounded and they are a family that puts the Lord first. I just watched Phil preach and that has renewed my faith.
Him and his family are great Christian people and non hateful which so awesome. Also it's cool that they are not religious in anyway they are Christian.

The sun went dark, graves popped open, and the dead walked about the city when Jesus was killed. Then 3 days later, his body vanishes and people start seeing him again. Hundreds of thousands supposedly saw him ascend into heaven. Yet... None of this was written about until decades later. The earliest being about 20 or 30 years, with the majority being 60+ years later. That's the problem. Had something like this occurred Jewish historians would have taken notice. Not some anonymous writings decades later.

Julia Kimura We do live in a place that wasn't created by any magical sky daddy. We call it Earth, have you heard of it? So your god is the god of religious people? Is that people of all religions in the past and now? Interesting. I don't think the great majority of the human race would agree with that. There have been 1000s of made up gods throughout our history. Most religions have said that theirs is the "true" religion and gods. Your claim is no different or better than any other. Hell even within the same religion they can't agree on what their god is. There is something like 41,000 Christian denominations world wide. There is no credible evidence to support any god claims let alone your particular flavor of god. The good news is that we are slowly coming out of the ignorance and superstition of religion. More and more people are turning away from organized religion which is a step in the right direction. The next step is for those people to realize is it nothing more than superstition. Many people are doing this already. Will we ever get rid of religion, that is doubtful. There will always be those that latch on to it and won't let go no matter what. What we can hope is that group just gets smaller and smaller and becomes irrelevant to the greater society.

We'd just have our own "made up" morality, which would hardly be right to impose on others. Without a God, right and wrong, evil and goodness, are all made up concepts by the human race and don't actually exist. Therefore, stating the crusades were wrong or evil is illogical unless you say that God has given us a true objective morality which we can then use to determine what is right and what is wrong. Without God, you are no more important than the bacteria you wash off in the shower, and therefore murder is no longer objectively wrong. I believe in a God who gives us an objective truth, an objective right and wrong, I believe this because when we speak of evil, we are always talking about a person. It is not evil for the wasp to kill the bee, nor is it murder for the cat to kill the mouse. It's evil or objectively wrong when a person is killed because that person has the image of God on them, meaning they have intrinsic worth given by a transcendent cause and creator, God, AND they have a knowledge of morality or right and wrong. Yes the person might choose to ignore their sense of right and wrong, and that's called sin, we all do it to different degrees, our world groans from it, as our sins are many, which is why we need a savior, who asks nothing more from us than to love God and love each other. Man may distort and exploit this to the end of time, but that hardly disproves God's existence, the reality of right and wrong, of morality, or existence and intelligence and information itself, is proof of His existence. Argue it all you want. I was a very outspoken atheist most of my life. Perhaps you could read Michael Behe's book called Darwin's Black Box, he speaks of the irreducible complexity in our cells as an additional proof of a transcendent mind and creator behind what we see today in existence. Good luck to you, I hope you take the time to be sure that your views are correct, because truth is too important to just swipe it away as silly, without fully knowing what you are denying. The person of Jesus absolutely existed, the proof for His life is undeniable by atheist or theist. In fact, I bet the more you may learn of the proofs of the biblical story, it would blow your mind, as it has to many of us. Do not forget even the disciples who doubted ended up preaching to point of their own crucifixions. A very strange thing to do if you were making any of it up. They ARE made-up concepts. Good is usually whatever benefits the majority of a group, while evil usually has no to bad consequences to the rest and great interest to one or few individuals. grew up much in the same way as this family....my whole family of many aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents etc lived in Stephens, Arkansas and brother, my parents didn't allow missing church...it was Sunday School, Sunday morning services, communion with the Lord every Sunday, Sunday evening services and Wednesday night Bible class....the Church of Christ is a beautiful thing and I owe all that I have to the Good Lord and that little church in Stephens, AR

God continues to use the Robertson family to reach the the first timers and remind us folks who needed to be reminded .....Its a great show but to hear Phil speak the word restores my soul and Willie takes after the old man..its a great tv show but your faith restores us.

Church of Christ member here. I love this show. Great to see a clean show with a minimum of bleeping. In fact most episodes have no bleeps at all. I love the beaver hunting episode. Reminds me of our hunting groups fight with beavers on our hunting property!

I'm not religious at all.But I watch the show all the time and these guys are good role models cause they are just happy.They show that finding happiness in the small things and keeping family close is how you get happy in life.They are good people and Si makes me laugh like no other.Ya'll are awesome thanks for making my Wednesday's that much better.

Hey, Willie when I went to college in the late 70's we had a guest lecturer. He asked if we could change the world in any way what would it be. I told him that I would make it so that people didn't covet other peoples money, life, etc. He told me that I was idealistic. I was so offended because he said that was an unrealistic response. Turning 60 this year and wish I could tell the dude that I'm not ashamed to be idealistic or a christian. Thanks for being examples for kids to look up to.
I'm glad he's rooted in his faith, but he's not afraid to criticize the negative ways his church reacts to the show and how he doesn't shove it in peoples' faces. The world needs more Christians like him. Forward thinking.

At the start of Willie's speech actually affirmed my Wednesday schedule. I attend church to teach bible study and then rush on home to watch Duck Dynasty - but I also DVR it too so I can re-watch it. I have every season recorded and have no intention of deleting any of them. I'll delete any and everything else but never my bearded men and their families...THEY STAY!!

Ive always been a fan, but I found it kind of weird because we basically come from two different worlds. My friends would ask why do watch that show all I would say is because they remind me of my family and friends in a way. They would tell me thats impossible you could never have anything in common. Now I really see why I like watching you guys as much as I do. Its because you guys are christians to. Not to many show left out there that show how God blesses people. God Bless.
When I think of the Robertson boys, this verse comes to mind... "Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." 1 Cor 16:13-14. There's a reason why they're happy, happy, happy. Sadly, many churches today have been "sissified" with lace curtains, flowery displays & ladie's circles, & really don't represent the awesome power & masculine side of Christ. The book, "Church for Men" by David Murrow hits the nail squarely on the head.
Praise God for the Robertson Family who care enough to give their time to the media to not only make people laugh, but to take the time to tell the truth about their past and about how Jesus delivered them. They show that they love and care enough for people not to hide the truth but to preach to people to repent and turn to God. God Bless the Robertson Family.
I just started watching this show by surfing channels and I immediately fell in love with this family. I pray that the Lord will keep them grounded and they are a family that puts the Lord first. I just watched Phil preach and that has renewed my faith.
Him and his family are great Christian people and non hateful which so awesome. Also it's cool that they are not religious in anyway they are Christian.
I just recently came across this show and I love it. This family is wonderful and absolute joy to watch every weel and God has blessed them with A wonderful life. What I love about them with all their success the are very grounded and humble. Thank you for posting this on You Tube

My mother died right in front of me, she fell straight down dead, blue, eyes opened and all... I began running around all frantic yelling outside to call 911 cuz my mom is dead... a guy off a bike ran in and began CPR.... after what seemed a lifetime, he looked up at me and said there was nothing left to do, she was dead.... I replied, NO THERE IS SOMETHING TO DO.... I grabbed my anointed oil, anointed my mom and everyone tht was surrounded her, including myself, looked up to heaven and spoke these words to my Lord, God, u said u would never put to much on me tht i can not bear, I CANT BEAR TO LOOSE ME MOM, then i spoke in Jesus name, and breathed into my mothers mouth, and within SECONDS, she took a huge breath and called out my name.... she was blind for minutes after, but alive.... tht was over 9 years ago and she is still with us to this day...... That's the issue. The sun went dark, graves popped open, and the dead walked about the city when Jesus was killed. Then 3 days later, his body vanishes and people start seeing him again. Hundreds of thousands supposedly saw him ascend into heaven.
Yet... None of this was written about until decades later. The earliest being about 20 or 30 years, with the majority being 60+ years later.
That's the problem. Had something like this occurred Jewish historians would have taken notice. Not some anonymous writings decades later.
This is my favorite all time show at first it took me a week to watch it . And now its all I watch . I recorded 20 episodes and keep watching them. I love these guys.

I think if they want publicity or something they have a better way to do it rather than making a statement that could harm his life and family. What Phil say is not a judgement but it is an already written judgement. A judgement already made by God. Want to know more about judgement that God has made for these sexual activities, please Google about Sodom and Gomorrah. Or maybe better if you don't mind the Bible you can read about it in the book of Genesis in the Old Testament. Maybe you can see what bring about to the destruction of those cities and please tell me, if I were to read that particular chapter about the destruction of the 2 cities and make a statement on it and the reason why God destroy it, does that make me the judge who make that judgement to destroy them or am I only stated the truth, the judgement that God has already done to those cities. We do live in a place that wasn't created by any magical sky daddy. We call it Earth, have you heard of it?
So your god is the god of religious people? Is that people of all religions in the past and now? Interesting. I don't think the great majority of the human race would agree with that. There have been 1000s of made up gods throughout our history. Most religions have said that theirs is the "true" religion and gods. Your claim is no different or better than any other. Hell even within the same religion they can't agree on what their god is. There is something like 41,000 Christian denominations world wide. There is no credible evidence to support any god claims let alone your particular flavor of god.
The good news is that we are slowly coming out of the ignorance and superstition of religion. More and more people are turning away from organized religion which is a step in the right direction. The next step is for those people to realize is it nothing more than superstition. Many people are doing this already. Will we ever get rid of religion, that is doubtful. There will always be those that latch on to it and won't let go no matter what. What we can hope is that group just gets smaller and smaller and becomes irrelevant to the greater society.

We'd just have our own "made up" morality, which would hardly be right to impose on others. Without a God, right and wrong, evil and goodness, are all made up concepts by the human race and don't actually exist. Therefore, stating the crusades were wrong or evil is illogical unless you say that God has given us a true objective morality which we can then use to determine what is right and what is wrong. Without God, you are no more important than the bacteria you wash off in the shower, and therefore murder is no longer objectively wrong. I believe in a God who gives us an objective truth, an objective right and wrong, I believe this because when we speak of evil, we are always talking about a person. It is not evil for the wasp to kill the bee, nor is it murder for the cat to kill the mouse. It's evil or objectively wrong when a person is killed because that person has the image of God on them, meaning they have intrinsic worth given by a transcendent cause and creator, God, AND they have a knowledge of morality or right and wrong. Yes the person might choose to ignore their sense of right and wrong, and that's called sin, we all do it to different degrees, our world groans from it, as our sins are many, which is why we need a savior, who asks nothing more from us than to love God and love each other. Man may distort and exploit this to the end of time, but that hardly disproves God's existence, the reality of right and wrong, of morality, or existence and intelligence and information itself, is proof of His existence. Argue it all you want. I was a very outspoken atheist most of my life. Perhaps you could read Michael Behe's book called Darwin's Black Box, he speaks of the irreducible complexity in our cells as an additional proof of a transcendent mind and creator behind what we see today in existence. Good luck to you, I hope you take the time to be sure that your views are correct, because truth is too important to just swipe it away as silly, without fully knowing what you are denying. The person of Jesus absolutely existed, the proof for His life is undeniable by atheist or theist. In fact, I bet the more you may learn of the proofs of the biblical story, it would blow your mind, as it has to many of us. Do not forget even the disciples who doubted ended up preaching to point of their own crucifixions. A very strange thing to do if you were making any of it up. They gave up their lives once they saw Him after the resurrection and traversed the globe to their brutal deaths, each one of them, so that the good news of our savior could be known. Good is usually whatever benefits the majority of a group, while evil usually has no to bad consequences to the rest and great interest to one or few individuals.
These conceptions are challenged when the groups are roughly equally split. Such was the case of the timeless Muslim vs Christian conflict, or the Nazi party. Each believe their own group to be right and oppressed by the other. How can you tell the difference from a neutral standpoint?

I think you are not as enlightened as you might think. When I confess my sins to my FATHER and ask forgiveness I am forgiven and at that moment I am free from sin. The only way you could teach me is if you know more than I do. If you would tell me what your credentials are I would love to know.

You clearly don't understand that verse. The Robertson family is doing a great job and spreading a good message. Maybe you should get off the internet and do something to help someone? grew up much in the same way as this family....my whole family of many aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents etc lived in Stephens, Arkansas and brother, my parents didn't allow missing church...it was Sunday School, Sunday morning services, communion with the Lord every Sunday, Sunday evening services and Wednesday night Bible class....the Church of Christ is a beautiful thing and I owe all that I have to the Good Lord and that little church in Stephens, AR

God continues to use the Robertson family to reach the the first timers and remind us folks who needed to be reminded .....Its a great show but to hear Phil speak the word restores my soul and Willie takes after the old man..its a great tv show but your faith restores us.
Love ya all of you. Did from the first moment i saw their show. Laughed so much and then they end with the whole family eating and praying together. Showing this lost dying world what a family is really about.

Church of Christ member here. I love this show. Great to see a clean show with a minimum of bleeping. In fact most episodes have no bleeps at all.
I love the beaver hunting episode. Reminds me of our hunting groups fight with beavers on our hunting property!

We watch Duck Dynasty all the time. Recently I told my kids that I'm glad on this show they don't have to BEEP out curse words. It is a testimony! Love you guys!

Hey, Willie when I went to college in the late 70's we had a guest lecturer. He asked if we could change the world in any way what would it be. I told him that I would make it so that people didn't covet other peoples money, life, etc. He told me that I was idealistic. I was so offended because he said that was an unrealistic response. Turning 60 this year and wish I could tell the dude that I'm not ashamed to be idealistic or a christian. Thanks for being examples for kids to look up to.

At the start of Willie's speech actually affirmed my Wednesday schedule. I attend church to teach bible study and then rush on home to watch Duck Dynasty - but I also DVR it too so I can re-watch it. I have every season recorded and have no intention of deleting any of them. I'll delete any and everything else but never my bearded men and their families...THEY STAY!!

Ive always been a fan, but I found it kind of weird because we basically come from two different worlds. My friends would ask why do watch that show all I would say is because they remind me of my family and friends in a way. They would tell me thats impossible you could never have anything in common. Now I really see why I like watching you guys as much as I do. Its because you guys are christians to. Not to many show left out there that show how God blesses people. God Bless.

When I think of the Robertson boys, this verse comes to mind... "Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." 1 Cor 16:13-14. There's a reason why they're happy, happy, happy. Sadly, many churches today have been "sissified" with lace curtains, flowery displays & ladie's circles, & really don't represent the awesome power & masculine side of Christ. The book, "Church for Men" by David Murrow hits the nail squarely on the head.
