LX470 - Third Brake Light Replacement (OEM vs. eBay knockoff)

Video showing the replacement of the high / 3rd / third brake light on my 1999 Lexus LX470. Originally tried to replace with a cheapo eBay $40 knockoff light, but it was horrible fit and arrived damaged. Ended up getting a new OEM from United Arab Emirates and was perfect.
Should be similar for Land Cruiser 100 Series

Just came here to say this video was helpful. Unfortunately, found it AFTER I had already ordered the exact same faulty part from the same eBay seller. Still the same fitment issues and the light did not even work, to boot. I found it easier to remove the interior panel from the side first (rather than from the top/middle right under the brake light). Thanks for the video!

thank you! I wish I would watch your clip sooner. just break the trim when trying to pull it out. I'm connecting the backup camera to the reverse light.
